Ello, out there in blogger land!

Hope all is well in you're neck of the woods! We are all well and going. I recently sold my Singer Futura 900 so that I could could get a treadle sewing machine. By selling that it provided the money fort he treadle. It was worth it...so far:) I ahven't had a chance to sew on it, yet. I need to get a belt for it. I lightly sanded the wood since that's all it "needed". Okay, so it really didn't need it but I wanted to change it a little. Now, that I think about it I probably could of just wiped it off and polished it. Oh, well. I need to finish getting the rust off some of the metal on the outside of the machine and maybe the cast iron legs, and the other cast iron parts. I forgot to mention that it is a Red Eye 66 (Singer). Beautiful it is! Even though it doesn't have a belt I couldn't resist having a little fun and moving the treadle back and forth with my feet. It has two different feet that came with it and a good supply of oil. I need to buy a key for the drawers to lock them and a regular standard foot for it.

On another note, our garden is still going. I harvested more icicle radishes and lettuce yesterday. I am going to roast the radishes and radish greens, Lord-willing for supper. Can't wait to try them cooked! Radishes are so easy to grow. I think they are tasty.

I know I still haven't gotten back to my stance and sometime I will just not sure when. Life is busy. It's always a great thing to ask the Lord to make a person productive..that's what I did and that's what happened!

November Garden update

Howdy, Yall!

Thought we'd share pictures of our garden with yall. Now, you'll notice in some that our tomatoes need to be pruned(please excuse that) and some have been since the photos were taken. It takes time to prune so sometimes we don't get to it as quickly as we should. Also, the date is wrong on the pictures.

Dressing for His Glory

Ello, I thought I'd post this. This is from awhile back. I had posted it on my old xanga (you can check it out before I close it here in a week or so: www.xanga.com/virtuouswoman4jesus)site that I had as a teen but I am probably going to shut it down here pretty soon since i never get on it and it's too much to do 2 blogs of my own and our family blog so it's gonna go. This post goes along with my beliefs/stance posts that I have been doing on and off. I actually came to these beliefs before I trusted Christ as my personal Saviour and so this was written months before I got saved. I lived a works based life since I was 16 because I had made a false profession at the age of 13. I did want to do right hence the reason I practiced my life the way I did. Of course after I got saved I reexamined my dress to be sure but it wasn't really necessary because I was doing right and was modest and feminine in my dress. I dressed discintly like a lady already and
used biblical principles.

By the way, if yall haven't had a chance or haven't seen it, yet there's a separate post below this one and it's an update on our recent trip and some other things.

Modest Apparel (I had originally titled this article: Modesty is Important in Today's Society)

Modest long, slit-less dresses and skirts that cover the calves(some men are attracted to calves & like them so I don't wear anything that shows my calves and plus, Isaiah 47: 1-3 talks about the leg and thigh. The verse is in section 1.A), modest shirts that don't show my midriff or are tight, or low cut no more than three fingers from my neck, but I prefer and try to wear them all right at the bottom of my neck for more modesty(b/c some men think the collar bone can be sensual & so I don't want to cause others to stumble). Basically I try to wear anything that is truly modest and feminine and does not cause others to fall because they are just humans who need help to aviod those things and that is my goal and to also bring glory to my Savior and honor and to please Him. And to not wear anything that is form fitting. Here is my modesty article: Modesty is Important in Today's Society Ok, everyone. I am going to tell you why I only wear dresses and skirts. And why I only wear them long and why I don't wear slits in them. And why I wear my hair long. Some of you may never have heard this before. If what you do is not wrong then you should not be offended. But, my honest hope is that this post will be a blessing and an encouragement. And to make men and women think. I only want to glorify the Lord. Here goes. 1. I wear dresses and skirts to be more feminine. I wear them because it is an abomination for a woman to wear what pertaineth to a man. -Deu. 22:5, The woman shall not wear that which pertaineth unto a man, neither shall a man put on a woman's garment: for all that do so [are] abomination unto the LORD thy God. ~A woman ought to distinctly look like a woman. She ought to embrace her femininity. I am a lady against feminism, as well. http://www.ladiesagainstfeminism.org/ Feminists want women to go against the bible. They hate it that they are different than men. That they are treated different. But, women are supposed to be treated as the weaker vessel.-1Peter 3:7,Likewise, ye husbands, dwell with [them] according to knowledge, giving honour unto the wife, as unto the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life; that your prayers be not hindered.~ So, whatever the Bible says they hate it, including femininity. They hate it if you want to act, speak, and be feminine. A. I forgot to mention that I believe a woman ought to dress modestly and wear modest dresses and skirts. That excludes anything tight, low-cut, slits,short, etc. Don't get mad just yet. I will explain.-1Timothy 2:9, In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array; Plus, God likened Babylon to a daughter who was not tender and delicate anymore and told her to uncover her thighs and make bare the leg.-Isaiah 47:1-3, Come down, and sit in the dust, O virgin daughter of Babylon, sit on the ground: there is no throne, O daughter of the Chaldeans: for thou shalt no more be called tender and delicate. v.2,Take the millstones, and grind meal: uncover thy locks, make bare the leg, uncover the thigh, pass over the rivers. v.3, Thy nakedness shall be uncovered, yea, thy shame shall be seen: I will take vengeance, and I will not meet thee as a man. So, God sees it as nakedness when the thighs and legs were uncovered and made bare. 2. Tight.- A you or anyone else ought not to be able to see your shape or form at all. We are to help our brothers in christ as well as the unsaved men. The flesh is wicked. In our flesh dwelleth no good thing. Men have temptations of lust. It can cause them to have impure thoughts. It is also immodest-1 Tim. 2:9. Your form is for your husband only and if you are single again it is only for your husband after you both get married. Also, you don't want to attract guys for the wrong reasons. Also, do men really want other men to see their own wives body form? Do men really want other men to lust after their own wives? Or do they even care if their wives are bringing the wrong kind of attention to their wives own selves? A woman shouldn't be bringing attention to the wrong areas. A woman ought to bring the right kind of attention. She ought to dress in a way that points a person to her face instead of her body. There are men who have had problems in the past. 3. Low - cut. I don't wear shirts or dresses that don't come to the bottom of my neck. You may say that it is the most ridiculous thing you have ever heard! I wear it that way, because when you bend down you can see right down it or at least something that should not be showing and again is reserved for your husband only. I have to say I have seen more than I care to of a women's chest. It is not a good thing at all. If my shirt or dress is to low, I wear a undershirt(white t-shirt) underneath it. I mean if you have your hands full and can't hold your shirt or dress then what's the point in wearing it low anyway. The other thing is that your collar bone can be sensual to some men who may have had problems in the past. Also, you know that knot(bone) sticking out at the bottom of the back of your neck? Well, I used to wear shirts that were two inches or so below that knot and I had a man tell me he liked my back as in he thought it was attractive! I know it sounds crazy, but it is true. Plus, he was a lost man. So, you know what I am about to say next! Cover it, too! It is good to make sure that it is covered all the way to right to the bottom of that knot(bone). I would have never thought a man would think it attractive! Shows you the naivete of some women like I was or just absentminded. So, let's help those lost men even and not show skin. 4. Slits and short dresses/skirts. I listened to a message one time called the language of a christian's clothing by S.M. Davis on www.biblepreaching.com . In the message he told a story of how he asked a teenage boy about what he thought about immodesty and this is what the boy said," Well, the lady is modest when she is standing, just standing. But, then when she is walking you see part of her leg through the slit and then she isn't so modest anymore until she stops walking and then you can't see anything anymore then she is modest again. What is the language of a slit? Does it say look this way, look at these legs, take a peek? It doesn't matter if you have good looking or bad looking legs. Men still look. Not all men have great pasts, even the ones raised in Christian homes. Lust, is lust. Some have had problems with legs too. And legs can be sexy, even if they are ugly, whatever that man prefers. Plus, a slit is there so the skirt can show more of your shape( rather than be slit-less and semi-full and show not a thing). A. Dresses and skirts that show the calf. Of course a lot of what I said about slits applies to this. What I forgot to mention in the slits section is that even your legs are for your husband and his looking eyes only. Why would a man want other men to see and look at his wife's legs? Some men have had a problem with legs and such in their pasts. Some have had a problem with pornography. I was told by a man at my church that every time some lady gets up and sings and wears a skirt or dress to her knee or directly below or even in the middle of the leg he has to make even more of an effort to look at her face, because skin is very noticeable especially in the wrong place.This man doesn't have to make an effort if her legs are covered. Why aren't men protecting their wive's and daughters? Why are women trying to tempt men into looking at them? A christian woman has no need to attract a guy by showing herself. A christian woman ought to attract a guy or others by doing nothing but that is right and pleasing to the Lord. Why bring attention to yourself for the wrong thing? Why not just do what God wants you to and serve Him and strive to be the kind of woman God wants you to be and just let that be what draws others attention to you? What does your clothing say about you? Modest, feminine, godly, wholesome, chaste, pure ? Why tempt a man to look? It can cause a man to fall- the pants, the slits, the short dresses and skirts and low cut blouses/shirts. Why be a stumbling block? Do you honestly want another man or any man lust after you? 5. Long hair. I wear my hair long and I hope to grow it at least a little bit longer if not really long. I don't believe a woman should have short hair at all. I believe it is a sin for her to have her hair shorn. This is what the Bible says,1 Corinthians 11:14, Doth not even nature itself teach you, that, if a man have long hair, it is a shame unto him? -1 Corinthians 11:15, But if a woman have long hair, it is a glory to her: for [her] hair is given her for a covering. ~ A woman's glory is her long hair and her hair is also, her covering. I honestly believe it is a sign of submission to your husband and God or those who are single it is a sign of submission to your father and to God. It is also, feminine for a woman to have long hair. Who said it hurts to be more feminine? Except the feminist. Why not embrace femininity? Why not be discintively woman? Men and women are not supposed to look alike. So, many times in I see christian women who have short hair and it makes them look manly, instead of feminine. I have been told by a man that it is not very appealing or feminine at all. Sometimes their hair is so short you really don't know if it is a man or woman unless they are wearing a skirt or dress. The concluding verse between men and women and hair: 1Cor. 11:7, For a man indeed ought not to cover [his] head, forasmuch as he is the image and glory of God: but the woman is the glory of the man. Let's help our brothers in Christ by covering up ourselves and adorn ourselves in modest apparel. And to not cause them to stumble and fall. Plus, be more (distinctly)feminine and godly and chaste and pure in the way we dress and present ourselves. Here's another thought a friend pointed out to me that there are lost women who's doors swing the other way and thus are not straight and they will look at your uncovered skin as well just like a man would. Do you want that also? Not me. I want to be blameless in the way I dress and I want it to point to Christ. Men are men and women are women. The flesh is wicked and in it dwelleth no good thing! Men like women period! The eyes see more than they need or want to see, if they are through a christian's eyes. Men are by sight, first. If we truly care about others falling then we ought to help them by dressing modestly. For if we don't we are of a selfish nature. I mean they can't help it that they are human being who happen to have a sinful, wicked flesh. I mean it's not about just us covering up, it's about them who struggle or will struggle. This is to tack on to the previous post on modesty. In truth I didn't think of it this way because I wasn't too sure it was needed but it might be more than I will ever know. And one of my friends pointed this out to me. Here it is: This is what my friend emailed me about this post: Also, I read your post today and smiled when you mentioned that a friend pointed out to you about lost women also being tempted by an immodestly clad woman. Karla, if you only knew. I hope you do realize, it's not just the one's who's doors swing the other way or the lost, but the saved and the straight, who struggle here too. I can tell you on good authority that there are Christian ladies, even ones attending Bible colleges that struggle in this area too. For some of them, it is a very difficult matter. Immodestly clad women can open the door for even Chrisitan women to think impure thoughts that if indulged in, begin a cycle of lust that may also lead to the viewing of pornographic material of either gender. The chest area of a lady is perhaps one of the most importsnt areas to keep covered, loosely! because for some, that is one of the most tempting areas of all. I will not incriminate anyone(s) or reveal part of someones' past or present struggles to justify the veracity of my claim, but I will tell you that it might surprise you the women who have and do struggle with this very thing. It is not necessary that a woman who struggles with this even to have had "a past." All it truly takes is a little backsliding. I share this with you only so that you'll be aware and sensative to these ladies. It is not a matter that a lady tends to readily admit to having a problem with so you may never know who these ladies are. The more you write, and work with, and minister to women in matters like these, you must be mindful of these cases. You do not want to offend them and lose their ear to the truth you have for them from the Bible. I honestly hope and pray that I haven't and won't lose anyone's ear to the truth. I just want to help people and love people. And for them to hear the truth. If you have only read this and haven't read the previous one on modesty, please do! I encourage you to! Why Hello There:)

Howdy, Yall!

Hope all is well with each and everyone of you who read this blog. We are all doing well! I don't know if I have ever told yall this but I have a sweet true love. I can talk to Him anytime of the day! I don't have to wait till He's off of work because He works all the time and still has time for me no matter the hour. What a sweet heavenly Prince. Yep, I am aiming to give my best back to Him. He's the truest friend I'll ever have and the best Beloved! My favourite part, well one of my favourite parts to the hymn, Haven of Rest is where we sing my beloved is mine! Oh, I didn't tell ya his name did I? His sweet name is Wonderful...His name is Jesus...He's my dearest Lord and Saviour. He's there for me no matter what! I am never alone! Praise be to my heavenly Father!

Okay, so yall get the point I suppose...I can't promise I won't "gush" again about Jesus again because obviously I can't help myself sometimes and I end up saying something about Him.

Well, our trip to CA was fun and I really enjoyed the Old Paths Christian Conference. I enjoyed hearing Bro. Thomas McConnel and Bro. John Weaver preach. Of course, Bro. Weaver had to do one session where he spoke on a southern general which I always enjoy hearing. We got some cd's of Bro. Weavers and some cd's by Bro. Warren Mark C.(the pastor of the free church that the conference was held at) plus some books that the church had on their table. The thing we have come to learn is to be able to come together with others who we may not see eye to eye on everything but that if there is common ground that we can come together and get along and be friends. Obviously, if it was really some serious stuff that we didn't agree on then we would have problems. These people are for free church and christian covenant marriage. Yes, they do not ask permission of the state to be married because the Lord ordained marriage not the state and therefore they believe in adhering to biblical principles. I'd never marry if the man refused to do it any other way! My King is Jesus and His book is my standard and my rule book. He is my master. And I plan on starting on the right foot by including Him into the marriage instead of Him taking a hike so the government can be in the the marriage contract instead of the Lord...sheesh, I have more sense than that! Anyway, we had a wonderful time the 2 times we had meals at the pastor and his wife's home while we were there. We went to Visalia and Fresno while there. We also by my request were able to stop at Riemer's Icecream Shop and their candy/gift shop. I like going to the candy shop because they have these wonderful packets of desert tea (hot tea) and there are just so good! We also did some other things while there.

Oh, I forgot to mention that I was able to talk to two people about law. They had some great info to share. I was given some information on registering and licensing. Basically, what licensing is really for, etc. There's more to it than you would know. Many people are ignorant about how we can operate lawfully(there's a difference between lawful and legal. just because something is legal doesn't make it lawful.) without a license, etc. It is important on what kind fo words we use in regards to our travel and how we operate in regards to operating a vehicle, etc. If you know the right words to say it can make a difference. I recommend watching John Quade's youtube videos on Common Law (he speaks on Bible common law not this perverted/distorted view that many have today of common law) and Aaron Russo's Freedom to Fascism for starter's. They are helpful. Here's a tid bit of info I learned... if you say you are an independent contractor than yes the Irs will be hounding you but if you claim to be a private contractor it's a bit different.

Anyway, I better go but I do need to say that if yall haven't noticed by now, I am the main poster on here for our family unless I am posting my beliefs(although, my family pretty much believes the same). So, update on behalf of the Ward family.

It's been awhile...

Howdy, Yall!
I know it's been awhile since we posted anything and I (Karla) will try to get back to writing more on my stance in October. I've been busy trying to get everything done that needs to be done before and for our upcoming trip to visit friends in SoCal and the Christian Conference that we'll be attending there, Lord-willing. I am really looking forward to it! It's gonna be so much fun! Anyways, I would like to ask for prayer for my eyes. Before we've thought there was a possibility that I could have water behind them but it could be also that I just need an even stronger prescription for my lenses. Who knows since the eye doc seemed to think the increase in my prescription was fine and didn't understand what I was trying to describe to him my issue with my eyes. I had to go to two different eye doctors. It's kind of aggravating... I know I never ask for prayer on here! I guess I just don't like to broadcast it but I would like to have clear eyesight for once. I started having issues again and it bothers me. Thanks Yall:) I appreciate it! Also, I know this may sound ridiculous to some but please can yall pray for our kitty Butterscotch she has a puncture wound because one of our family member's dog(a boxer) got her. Butterscotch is small and so it wouldn't of taken much for the dog to have killed her. I have told myself that I will not ever get a boxer...they are too aggressive and they have a hard time leaving cats alone but I really thought I was about to witness a death. I had come up the whole scene and tried to keep the dog away from her and there was no way I could reach Butterscotch from where I was. I screamed so loud and frantically that a family member ran out and I yelled for them to get that dog. Hey, what can I say I was very upset and more. My goodness I can't believe the kitty and me lived through it! Praise God she is okay so far but I have to keep doctoring her. I am truly thankful for Mrs. P who helped me with the kitty's wound the other night. I called her because I knew she had experience with kitties with wounds. What a real blessing!

Karla's Stance part 5.4

Howdy! Hope everyone is well. We are doing well here. I planted some green and royal burgundy beans the other day out in one of our hoop houses. Hopefully, we won't have another spider mite infestation. Ya know there are just wayyy too many bad insects that like to prey on our veggies! Praise the Lord for Azamax, though. It is awsome. It's not a pesticide(that'd be harmful to the air which we breathe and for our bodies). Azamax is for those of us who would rather use something natural or organic.

I just finished "Preparing To Be A Help Meet" by Debi Pearl and I must say it was wonderful! It was encouraging, convicting, and I learned some things from it that I wouldn't of thought about...well, years later maybe. Which I need to learn now not later! So, now I am focusing on things in my life and how I am now that I need to work on and in doing so I am asking the Lord to change me in those areas. She said in the book that we young ladies shouldn't worry about finding Mr. Right what we need to be focusing on is becoming Miss Right for when Mr. Right comes along. She is so right!!! That's exactly what we need to be doing. So, our prayer should be that we would become whatever we need to become for whoever the Lord will bring in the future. I do believe that it'd also be good for guys to pray and ask the Lord to help them to be what his future wife would need, to help him be the kind of husband and father that the Lord would have him to be. I am not saying that he's gonna be her helper...NO WAY! She is to be her husband's help meet/helper. Come on now, don't be putting words in my mouth ya hear? *smiles at goofy readers* Anyway,the thing is is that the way you are now is how you will most likely be after you get married and if that's the case then I'd examine myself and see what needs a working on. Is there a quiet disobedience in your heart young woman? Young man do you honour your parents? Those are just the tip of the iceberg. But, I think yall get my drift.

I highly recommend the book. There are maybe less than 5 things I disagreed with in the book if even that many. Which I don't think there was 5 but at least 1 or 2 things. It's great for unmarried and married women to read. I believe both should read it. I have observed married couples and I have seen how I don't want to be or how I do want to be. I have seen enough to know what kind of a husband I would like to have, too. It is very good to observe people you usually can get an idea how they might be all the time or a hint as to their character. Also, if you pay attention to the things they speak and how they react to things you say then you'll most likely have an understanding of what they believe in how they react to what is said if they do react. Because by doing so it has helped me decide that I am not interested in marrying a person or maybe made me or my Dad hesitate. I observe character and so does my Dad.

Okay, so by now, I should get into my stance on the daughters. The Bible is my stance so I therefore stand with the Bible. It is my standard. We see pictures, patterns, and practices in the Bible that show use the roles of daughters when they are given. Daughters lived at home usually especially children of God. Rebekah lived with her family. She worked at home furthering her family. Although, it doesn't say that you can imagine that she had other blessings(important chores) around their home and land to take care of. Rachel and Leah were at home under their father's protection and care. They didn't work outside of their home and land. These women were at home till they married. Back then women sewed, they weaved, they spun their thread, and many other things. These women knew what hard work was. They sure weren't lazy like today's women. If a girl is gonna work then why not for her family instead of furthering some other man's vision. I do not see how that honours God. If a girl is gonna follow the biblical picture/pattern then she shouldn't spend all day reading or gabbing on the phone or on facebook. She should limit herself to those things. She should be seeking to further her feminine skills, educating herself on real history, learning new things like another language or something. When I say feminine skills what I mean is sewing, knitting, crocheting, and even embroidery(you can embroider pillows and embroider Scriptures to place on you wall). There are many other feminine skills/arts I could name but I just encourage you to think of more skills a young lady can be taught. I do believe she should learn to fix things like the kitchen sink or the toilet in case she's home alone sometime and has no other option but to do it herself. She needs to learn to change the oil. Basically, she should be well rounded. I will say that I would think that would be something that a man would appreciate when he finds his future wife but then again it might depend if that man is well rounded, too. I don't mean he needs to know feminine skills so don't get that idea into your head.

Young ladies should be taught from the time their little to be ladies. Meaning to look like one and act like one! She should know how to to cook at least a few things by the time she turns 8. I know a family that has sons only. The mother starts teaching them to cook at the age of 5. I was highly impressed when she told me that. I know a little girl that when she was 8 her Mama was already teaching her how to hand sew/stitch and her Mama helped her sew on the sewing machine a couple times. I thought that was so neat. Daughters should be productive not slothful and lazy sitting around daydreaming. A man wants to know that his heart can safely trust in her.

A mother should set a good example by embracing her role as wife and mother. She should lead a good example of how she treats her husband because little girls pick up on these things and chances are she'll be like her Mama so Mama ought to be very careful in how she acts, reacts, and the things she says to her husband. If two believers marry with it being the Lord's will for them, too then I do believe that there is no reason their home should be a home of bickering at all. There should be almost 0 arguing. And when they have a disagreement it should be not in a hateful tone. The Bible says be angry and sin not. So, I figure that we should be telling the Lord all about it and pray and ask how to handle the disagreement. It really is best to keep our mouths shut if we are going to say something we will regret or hurt someone with our words. That is not Christ like at all! Not saying any of us are perfect but thinking before speaking is wise. The Bible says that we need to be swift to hear, slow to speak, and slow to wrath. It also says in Proverbs 14:29, He that is slow to wrath is of great understanding: but he that is hasty of spirit exalteth folly. If a couple talks things out as they happen then it'll keep things from growing and growing until there's a blow up on either or both sides. Anyway, back to daughters. The mother sets the tone for the daughter and she is to be the good example and even godly if she allows the Lord to have His way with her then she'll become godly over time.

I should mention that if it doesn't interfere with the daughter serving her family then she should be willing to help young mothers if they need help in their home with something. She can minister to that mother by doing that. She can encourage her siblings, and teach them what she knows or what she has learned. She should look for ways to be a blessing to others.

I guess I am done for the time being on this subject but if I believe the Lord wants me to write more on daughters then I will. Hope everyone has a wonderful-good night!

Ello Dears,

I wanted to give a quick update to say I haven't forgotten totally about blogging:) I just haven't had time. But, I hope to write in the next week so with updates of photos recently taken of the rain barrels and such plus write more on my stance. My dearest and adorable brother, Bradley and I are going to Lord-willing to get started on planting some cool crops tomorrow and then some on Thursday. Hope yall try something new like growing a garden:) It's really not hard to grow from seed:)

I remember listening to this a few months(in May) before I trusted Christ as my own personal saviour. I believe the Lord was using it for His glory. He was pricking me without me realizing what He was doing. I look back and I now, see how He was working to bring me to my knees and to cry out to Him. I had been so tired by the time I finally surrendered to His calling on November 25,2007...I was so tired of struggling with whether I was saved or lsot. I had been crying out to God for a month or so asking Him to show me the truth of it all so that if I was on my way to hell that I could get it taken care of. I knew I deserved a burning hell but I sure didn't want to go there!!! I praise and thank the Lord for Him calling me unto salvation! I truly can say Praise His Name! If you read my testimony you will see where I quote two different people in it from the revival hymn but you won't realize it until you listen to the Revival hymn and then read my testimony. I am so proud to be a daughter of the King. I surely don't deserve it. It was not by anything I had done that was :worthy" because I was not worthy of such a King. I was a poor excuse of a so called unregenerate "christian". Sure everyone thought I was a good little christiam girl but I had my battles. The difference now is that I am truly born again and the Lord fights my battles for me if I confess them to Him when I know I need Him to do it all. Amen! I dearly love Him so. He has been the most perfect to me:)

I guess I will quit for now, although I could go on and on about the Lord!

I will warn you though you should wanna skip the so called christian rock that is played inbetween a couple of preachers...it's not very Christ honouring not that any background music like that could be honouring to the Lord. I skipped over it so I couldn't tell ya about the lyrics.

Anyway, I truly hope that everyone reading this blog will take the time to listen to this and I hope it'd truly be a blessing to you. It's only 35 minutes but so worth the listening:)

This was pretty good! Just didn't care for the protestant flag aka christian flag w/gold fringe & military u.s. flag in the background. Usually, when a flag has gold fringe on it it means under jurisdiction of Meritime law(naval law of the sea).

I do encourage yall not to approach the Bible with a preconceived idea or notion. Because when we do we try to make it justify our belief that we have been taught. Our prayer should be that the Lord would help us to approach the Bible as a little child and to approach it as if we know nothing at all. Otherwise we won't allow the Bible to change our thinking in what we have been taught. Because what we have been taught does not always line up with the Bible. That's how unbiblical, ungodly doctrines/practices creep in...we as a family and as individuals study things so that we can line up with the Bible. We should not conform the Bible to us and our way of thinking. We should conform ourselves to the Bible and it's way which is the Lord's way.

We listened to this awhile back and I decided to look it up again today. I been meaning to put this on here on behalf of our family. It's informative. The only thing is that is Greg is wrong on saying this was a protestant nation. This never was protestant nor christian. Once you start digging deep you will find out that George Washington didn't really understand salvation. He was a 33rd degree Freemason. And he was close friends with Jesuit Bishop John Carrol(his brother, who was Jesuit trained, was a signer of the declaration of independence).

“George Washington’s Death Bed Conversion to Catholicism”

George Washington, the first president of the United States, served from 1789 to 1797 in that capacity. A popular slogan concerning him was that he was “first in war, first in peace, and first in the hearts of his countrymen.”

On December 13, 1799, Washington (aged 67 years) was exposed to a storm of sleet and developed a cold. He rested in bed at his home in Mount Vernon, Virginia.

On the morning of the 14th at 3:00, he had a severe attack of membranous croup. At daybreak, Mrs. Washington sent for the only physician, Dr. Craik. Two other physicians also came, but all three together could not save him. Washington died between 10:00 and 11:00 that night. (1)

About four hours before Washington’s death, Father Leonard Neale, a Jesuit priest was called to Mount Vernon from St. Mary’s Mission across the Piscataway River. Washington had been an Episcopalian, but was baptized into the Roman Catholic Church that night. After Washington’s death, a picture of the Blessed Virgin Mary and one of St. John were found among the effects on an inventory of articles at his home. (2) George Washington had an interest in Roman Catholicism for many years. His servant Juba stated that the General made the Sign of the Cross before meals. He may have learned this practice from his Catholic lieutenants, John Fitzgerald or Stephen Moylan. At Valley Forge, Washington had forbidden during “Pope’s Day,” the burning in effigy of the Roman Pontiff. As President, Washington slipped into a Catholic Church several times to attend Sunday Mass. (3)

Pope Leo XIII (1878-1903) praised George Washington highly in an encyclical Longinque Oceani of January 6, 1893, to the bishops of America: “We highly esteem and love exceedingly the young and vigorous American nation, in which we plainly discern latent forces for the advancement alike of civilization and of Christianity. . . Without morality the State cannot endure – a truth which that illustrious citizen of yours, whom we have just mentioned [‘the great Washington’] with a keenness of insight worthy of his genius and statesmanship perceived and proclaimed. . . Thanks are due to the equity of the laws which obtain in America and customs of the well-ordered Republic. For the Church amongst you, unopposed by the Constitution and the government of your nation, fettered by no hostile legislation, protected against violence by the common laws and the impartiality of the tribunals, is free to live and act without hindrance.”

Washington was a student of the writings on political philosophy of St. Robert Bellarnine and St. Thomas Aquinas. George Washington, James Madison, and some of the other Founding Fathers incorporated into the Constitution in 1787 some of these two saints’ ideas about how to set up a Republic. (4) In a like manner, Thomas Jefferson had studied these saints and incorporated some of their concepts into the Declaration of Independence in 1776. (5)

A question, therefore, the reader can pose to friends is as follows: Who was the first man who served as U.S. President, who was at the time of his death a Roman Catholic? Most people will say John F. Kennedy, but the correct answer is George Washington, the Father of our Country.

Hey, Yall!

I spoke to my friend's Mama on the phone the other night. Their pastor does covenant marriages. His children have covenant marriages not licenses. Their pastor is amazing. He knows how to defend himself in court and has won several times. Anyway, I had known that you could write up an agreement or a will for just in case one of the spouses dies that it'd go to the living spouse. But, I forgot about trusts. She was telling me that there's amna there who's wife passed away. His wife had been a widow when he married her and had children from her previous marriage. Well, her children were not happy about how the will was written up and took him to court(I guess he didn't know how to defend himself in court otherwise he probably could of won.You gotta learn how to defend yourself so that you won't have to rely on those barfly lawyers...that's another whole thing I won't get into at the moment but they leave a bad taste in my mouth after learning the truth about the BAR and how they operate... any that call themselves a christian and are a lawyer take it with a grain of salt.) and now, the man has to pay her children money. He said to do a trust because then you;re safe but the thing is there are different trusts and the safest is a Common Law trust(can't be broken). Real common law is what we use to practice before Roman Civil law came into being is what we have today. But, we still Have access to real common law if we know how, that is. Any time we want to do things the right way and bring honour and glory to the Almighty God, He will make a way especially if we tell him about it, plus pray about it. He is faithful and He is looking for those who are willing to go against man's traditions and instead seeking the old path/righteousness. We should want to honour the Lord with our very being. Anyway, I believe that these things are important to know. I believe the Lord would want us to search out the truth in all things/matters. I believe He would not have us be ignorant. He can use us even more if we applied ourselves to His book and to searching out the truth in all things. You never know what He could do with us or when you might need to know these things. But, I believe we ought to always be prepared which means research! Ask the Lord to reveal the truth about every single thing, to lead you into all truth and righteousness. Well, looks like I need to be getting ready for bed and gotta make our fort real quick.

Our solar system Geocentric or Heliocentric? I find this topic very interesting but I suppose this could be referred to as a "doubtful disputation" (Romans 14). Its really doesn't matter what I believe or what you believe because ultimately this is not something I would break fellowship over. But I believe it is Geocentric (that is Earth centered). And to prove my theory I will use none other than the Bible...

(please don't comment on this article giving me "scientific proof" cause I don't believe 90% of science unless it can be backed up by the Bible)

In Psalms 93:1 it says, "...the world also is stablished, that it cannot be moved."

If the earth can not be moved then how is it rotating around the Sun?? Look at Psalms 19 starting at the end of verse 4 for context. "...In them hath he set a tabernacle for the sun, 5Which is as a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, and rejoiceth as a strong man to run a race. 6His going forth is from the end of the heaven, and his circuit unto the ends of it: and there is nothing hid from the heat thereof." The Sun has circuits. It moves in circles. This passage also proves my conclusion that there is only 1 solar system which is ours. It says that nothing is hid from the heat of our sun. Well, if there are other solar systems the sun would not be able to reach and warm, even a little, those other solar systems... But that is another topic.

In Ecclesiastes Solomon said "The sun also ariseth, and the sun goeth down, and hasteth to his place where he arose." The wisest man that ever lived said that the sun rises. Now you can say, "Well, that is from man's eyes. He is just going by what he sees." I don't believe that and here is why look at Matthew 5:45 in the middle of the verse "...For he maketh his sun to rise..." Jesus Christ, God, said that the sun rose... Do I need further proof? You can tell me that Jesus was talking to men and so he used something men would understand but God is not a God of confusion. "He maketh" every day that sun comes up God is making it come up. That just excites me... But back on track.

Now, if you want to get into typology and all that then fine. The Sun represents Jesus Christ, the Earth equals the world, and the moon is the church. Now you can tell me "Are you saying that the Sun (Jesus Christ) rotates around the earth? That is a devilish thought saying man is the center of the universe!" Now, based on that argument your right how could I possibly think that Son of God rotates around the world. But this argument is missing something... where's the moon?? No matter what the moon needs to rotate around something. In this whole Typology mess this is what I believe: The Sun (Christ) and the Moon (Church) both rotate around the Earth (World) giving them light both physically and spiritually.

To start this study out lets look at some quotes from a book entitled: Sabbats: A Witch’s Approach To Living The Old Ways by Edain McCoy (A Practicing Witch)

(Page 53): “Yule is a time of mixed emotions for pagans. All around us we see evidence of the Christmas celebration…one which we know takes its form and meaning from ancient pagan practices. Virgin births, decorated trees, festive lights, feasting, wreaths, bells, and fragrant fires, were-and still are-at the heart of pagan Midwinter observances.”

(Page 59): “For pagans, this usurping of Yule (by Christians) has one great advantage-it has preserved for us many ancient Yule customs which might otherwise have been lost. Look in any book and Christmas customs around the globe and you will find a plethora of pagan traditions.”

(Pages 85 and 86): “Music is another important part of Yule, and Christmas carols are yet another idea taken from paganism. Many common Christmas carols contain pagan images that are not so subtle. “Carols are form an Old /French word meaning “joyous songs”, and were also the name of round dances celebrating the rebirth of the Frankish pagan gods. The English Christmas Carol “Deck the Halls with Boughs of Holly” contains not one Christian religious image.” (Note: That is because the images mentioned are pagan in their origin as we will see.) “When Yule rolls around you should feel free to have a lighted tree in your home, hang a wreath on your door, ring the jingle bells, and give gifts in memory of loved ones. Remember that this is a Sabbat, a pagan festival, a time that marks the return of the Sun god both to his Goddess Bride and to his joyous people.”

Yule or Yule-tide is a winter festival that was initially celebrated by the historical Germanic peoples as a pagan religious festival, though it was later absorbed into, and equated with, the Christian festival of Christmas. The festival was originally celebrated from late December to early January on a date determined by the lunar Germanic calendar. The festival was placed on December 25 when the Christian (Julian) calendar was adopted. Some historians claim that the celebration is connected to the Wild Hunt or was influenced by Saturnalia, the Roman winter festival.

Is X-Mas Biblical? Let explore the facts so you can see for yourself. On 12/24/1871 Charles H. Spurgeon said: "We have no superstitious regard for times and seasons. Certainly we do not believe in the present ecclesiastical arrangement called Christmas. First because we do not believe in any mass at all, but abhor it, whether it be sung in Latin or in English: Secondly, because we find no scriptural warrant whatever for observing any day as the birthday of the Savior; and consequently, its observance is a superstition,.. It was not till the middle of the third century that any part of the Church celebrated the birth of our Lord;.. Probably the fact is that the 'holy' days were arranged to fit in with the heathen festivals. We venture to assert that if there be any day in the year of which we may be pretty sure that it was not the day on which our Savior was born it is the 25th of December. Regarding not the day, let us give God thanks for the gift of His dear Son. How absurd to think we could do it in the spirit of the world, with a Jack Frost clown, a deceptive worldly Santa Claus, and a mixed program of sacred truth with fun, deception and fiction…The Catholics and high Church Episcopalians may have their Christmas one day in 365 but we have a Christ gift the entire year." Dec. 25 is known as the 'nativity' of the sun or birthday of Tammuz (the pagan equivalent of the son of god). If you would like this teaching emailed to you just let me know.

The History of Christmas
Scholars do not know the exact date of Christ's birth. For more than 300 years, people observed HIS birthday on various dates. In the year A.D.354, Bishop Liberius of Rome "ORDERED" the people to celebrate on December 25th. He probably chose this date because the people of Rome already observed it as the Feast of Saturn, celebrating the birth of the sun. Christians honored Christ, instead of Saturn, as the light of the World.

For many years, people observed Christmas as a religious festival only. They gradually adopted more and more customs "UNRELATED" to the church. In England, during the Middle Ages, Christmas became the "merriest" day of the year. Celebrations eventually became so rowdy that the Puritans in England DID AWAY with the observance of Christmas by law in 1643. Colonists in New England copied the English laws known as the Blue Laws. But eventually, immigrants brought with them Christmas customs from many lands.

Christmas today affects most industries because of the millions of persons who buy products of all kinds as gifts. Manufacturers often begin planning the next year's sales as soon as the holidays are over.

In most "department stores", children can tell SANTA CLAUS what they want for Christmas. They wait in long lines to climb the sparkling "throne" where Santa sits in his red and white suit. The whole area looks like fairyland, with huge colorful displays of the latest toys. Merchants sell more of almost every kind of product during Christmas season than at any other time of year". How grievous and sad that the people of natural knowledge in the World know more about the truth of this holiday than those who profess to be children of God. How sad, in that we are to be the ones taking a stand on the Holy Scriptures. Yet we are just as blinded by the god of this world. Once again, let us look at a few things through the SPIRITUAL EYES. We will deal more in detail with Santa Claus later.

First we now know why the celebrating of Christmas was NEVER mentioned in the Bible. It has no root in the Holiness of the Kingdom of God. It may be an issue with Christianity, but that in itself today is a vast array of different organizations, denominations and doctrines of men. The Kingdom of God is orderly, perfect and has but ONE DOOR, ONE WAY, ONE TRUTH and ONE LIFE. We now at least know where the roots lie of this pagan ritual. And remember again, how can we as Born-Again believers take something from SATAN and dedicate it to our Lord Jesus Christ? It is strange fire!! These are NOT my views and opinions either. I am standing purely on the Word of God. The roots of this origin come right out of the World system of Babylon!!--Listen to this!

"Alas, alas, that great city BABYLON, that mighty city! For in one hour is thy judgment come. And the MERCHANTS of the earth shall weep and mourn over her; for no manbuyeth their merchandise any more" REVELATION 18:10-11

Will you continue to buy from the merchants of Babylon? Will you continue to say, no big deal, God has mercy? The early fathers of this nation, the Puritans who fled from Roman Catholic Doctrine, came from England and OUTLAWED this observance!! I think you can see why by now.

It has only been over the past 100 years now that this holiday has begun to be observed again in America. We have now only partially exposed the foundation of this order. When we get into all the things associated with Christmas, I pray you will be as appalled as I was when the Holy Spirit taught me the truth. If Christ—Mass came from a mass for Christ, then just that fact alone should cause alarm, for the Catholic Mass is one of demonic deprivation and truly blasphemes and transgresses the Blood at Calvary's Cross. Can you honestly say you want to observe something whose foundation and origins and roots stem from blaspheming the Blood of Jesus Christ?

The True Meaning of Christ-Mass

They tell us that it is the season to be jolly. It is a time of ornaments, red and green decorations, silver bells, holly, mistletoe and colored lights. It is also a time of department store Santas calling out their universal mantra, "Ho ho ho, Merry Christmas." Nearly all of the realm of so-called "Christianity" join in and repeat this same greeting, "Merry Christmas!"

Although we hear these words constantly as they resonate millions of times throughout the land, almost nobody understands what they are really saying. It is the purpose of this tract to take the words, "Merry Christmas" and examine the true meaning and essence of those words.

A true Christian would want to examine everything they say, because Jesus said in Matthew 12:36-37, "But I say unto you, that every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgement. For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned." We will now set aside all of the customs, glitter and traditions of Christmas, which were taken from pagan witchcraft and popularized by the Roman Catholic Church, and we will focus on the true meaning of the words, "Merry Christmas!"

The word "Merry" is simple to define. It unquestionably means to be happy, joyful and light-hearted. The word "merry" fits into the ambience of laughter and frivolity. This word "merry" by itself is innocent and innocuous enough, but as we will now see, it becomes heinously blasphemous when used with the word "Christmas."

Here let it be noted that most people think that the word, "Christmas" means "the birth of Christ." By definition, it means "death of Christ", and I will prove it by using the World Book Encyclopedia, the Catholic Encyclopedia, and a book entitled, The Mass In Slow Motion.

If you are an honest, sincere and discerning Christian, please read on; if not, you might as well stop right here. The World Book Encyclopedia defines "Christmas" as follows: "The word Christmas comes from "Cristes Maesse", an early English phrase that means "Mass of Christ." (1) It is interesting to note that the word "Mass", as used by the Roman Catholics, has traditionally been rejected by the so-called Protestants, such as Lutherans, Baptists, Methodists, Presbyterians, Pentecostals and so on. The word "Mass" is strictly a Catholic word and thus, so is "Christ-Mass."

It would stand to reason, that since all of these denominations love and embrace "Christ-Mass", that December 25th is the great homecoming day, when all of the Protestants become Catholic for a day. It would seem that all of the so-called "wayward daughters" of the Romish church return to their mother, the scarlet harlot. Thus, all of the so-called Protestant churches could sing to the Pope that popular song "I'll be home for Christmas."

As previously stated, the word "Mass" in religious usage means a "death sacrifice." The impact of this fact is horrifying and shocking; for when the millions of people are saying, "Merry Christmas", they are literally saying "Merry death of Christ!" Furthermore, when the fat man in the red suit laughs boisterously and says, "Ho ho ho, Merry Christmas", he is mocking and laughing at the suffering and bleeding Saviour, who died for our sins. He does this while parents place their little children into his waiting arms to hear his false promises of gifts that he says he will give them. Consider what you are saying when you say "Merry Christmas."

What is so amusing about our Saviour's painful death? What is so funny? Why is Santa laughing? Why are you going along with it? Your words do count and Satan knows it. Yes, the word "Mass" does mean "death sacrifice", and to cement that fact, we will consider the definition of the inventors of the religious application of the word "Mass." I am looking at page 537 of the Catholic Encyclopedia, which says, "In the Christian law, the supreme sacrifice is that of the Mass." It goes on to say, "The supreme act of worship consists essentially in an offering of a worthy victim to God, the offering made by a proper person, as a priest, the destruction of the victim." (2) Please note carefully the word, "victim" of the Mass. The Latin word for victim is "Hostia" from which the word "host" is derived. The Mass, by definition of those who coined the word, is a sacrifice involving a victim. There is no other meaning for the word "Mass" or "Christ-Mass." On page 110 of a book entitled "The Mass In Slow Motion", we find the following words: "It is only with the consecration that the sacrifice of the Mass is achieved. I have represented the Mass to you, more than once, as a kind of ritual dance." (3)

In essence, the Mass is the ceremonial slaying of Jesus Christ over and over again, followed by the eating of his flesh and the drinking of his blood. The Mass is the death sacrifice, and the "Host" is the victim. This is official Roman Catholic doctrine, and "Christmas" is a word that they invented. Again, I ask, what is so merry about the pain, bleeding, suffering and death of Jesus Christ? Satan has done quite a job of getting millions of so-called "Christians" to blaspheme. What a deceiver he is..
Now you know the true meaning of the word "Christmas" or Mass of Christ. I have never heard of this man but he is right in what he is saying. We need to quit trying to help God by using man made, communistic methods. The Lord doesn't need our "help". His way of doing things is in the Bible and so we need to stop adding to His Book. Anything outside of the Bible is extra biblical. The Lord commanded us to go out to the by ways and highways but what do we do? We no longer assemble together with just believers like the New Testament believers did we now allow heathens in. We minds well forget the Great Commission we don't even believe all of the bible anymore anyways because if we did we'd stop doing things the devils way and start doing things God's way by looking at what the pattern was in the NT. Oh, well we're such a jolly bunch of lukewarms it's so invigorating;) Really what makes you think that it's okay to start "ministries" that have nothing to do with the Bible or the Lord? They may have the semblance of being good or blessed but did you know that if we truly obeyed Scripture and patterned the church and our lives after the Bible that that's where real blessings would come into play? Why not live according to God's Holy Scriptures(KJB) instead? He has a reason for not authorizing those things...the S.S. movement, the youth group, the bus ministry. Sure you may have 1 or 2 actually born again through the bus ministry but what makes you think God couldn't do it any other way besides that? Is anything really too hard for God??? I think not. It doesn't matter what we want it's what God wants and that is for us to live by His book. That is our "rule" book. It is supposed to be our standard isn't it? Don't you think He would get more honour and glory by us following His Book? A lot of times we go by feelings and that's where I question if these things are based on how we feel instead of the Bible. If you wanna be a Bible believer one of the things is to start patterning the church and our lives after it. The Bible gives pictures, patterns, principles, and commandments of how we are to live and what we are supposed to be doing and how the church is to function/be set up.

Truth of the matter is is that it comes down to the fact that they have an authority issue with the Bible and the question is by what authority do you do these things? You have known. If you don't have the authority by God's word to do what you're doing then you have no authority and it's not by God but by your own authority and you are trying to help God out which is wicked. But, then again you see these things have come about from the last century in full force within the corporate church not free church/the Lord's church and which stands to reason corporate churches are filled with 98% to 99% lost people. Many claim to be christians but they ain't. They supposedly got saved sometime but have no recollection of it. They might say well he chastised me or he's taken care of me...yada, yada, yada....what the Lord is really trying to do is get their attention when things happen but they don't wanna listen. If ya can't recall the Lord dealing with you, if he wasn't pricking your heart, if he didn't show you your lostness, if you weren't invited by him to the marriage supper of the Lamb through Him then you have no idea what it is to know Him personally as your Lord and Saviour. It doesn't matter if your parents remember when you were supposedly saved because if you cannot remember then you are not and you need to seek the Lord and ask Him to show you the truth of it all. He will show you the things that did not happen. For me I knew there was never a change, that my prayers never had really been answered like I thought, I couldn't remember anything at all! I was as lost as could be!

Since, I have been saved there were a couple of times I have given my testimony to two different people over the phone. While I was sharing my testimony a family member on Dad's side was within hearing distance and as I was giving my testimony that family member started slamming things and makin' racket. Can you guess why? That family member supposedly professed salvation at the age of 11 or so and they say they can't remember a thing but still say they are saved. They think the Lord has chastened them and that's why they believe it. Honestly, from observing it's possible that the Lord has actually been dealing with that family member about their lost condition. It doesn't mean he's saved just because he thinks he's saved. Chastening is the only thing a believer "experiences". Anyways, I guess I better leave it at that for now. But, don't think I won't speak on this again. As the Lord opens the door then I will. It seems that it is very important for me to do so.

I did not intend to step on any toes but the Bible is true. Let God be true and every man a liar. Amen!

This is to finish the part on the husband.

I forgot to mention that I believe that when a woman is to go to court that her husband is to go in her place. He is her head and her covering so he is to stand in her place in things like this. I've heard a story before where the wife for some reason got a ticket on the road and the husband went to appear in court. When they called her name he said here I am. At one time things were like that and I am like that today. I don't care what the trend is or how society does things. I care about what is right and what is biblical. If the man is the woman's covering then it's his duty to defend her and take her place in situations like this.

Another thing the husband should be willing to die for her as Christ did for the church, for us. He shouldn't want any harm to come to her. SHE is to be treated like the weaker vessel...Not a china doll. A woman should be hardy but not masculine. She doesn't need to try to be as strong and tough as the man, either. She is just to what God created her the weaker vessel. There's nothing to be shameful of in being the weaker vessel. It's nice and separates us from men. So, like the Bible says treat her like the weaker vessel. Don't call her mean and hurtful names. Don't think it doesn't matter how you treat her because it does. It will scar her for the rest of her life and will not make her confident in anything she does for you or others. She will be more down trodden than not. A woman is like a rose if ya treat her right she will bloom!!! Seriously, that is quite true. She can't respect you if you treat her badly.

If yall remember I spoke on how God created man to work with his hands. Man is made for labour. It's not bad. A man should seek to work with his hands other wise he will get lazy and want the easy work. I believe it is good to know how to work on vehicles, build things,etc. I mean seriously, you know how bad it'd look if you diddn't know how to work on cars but your wife could change the oil, check tire pressure, air the tires, change the spark plugs and maybe the wheel? I myself haven't had the chance to change spark plugs, yet nor the tires but I am aiming to learn how to because ya never know if a man might not be around and I'd be needing to take care of it. My Dad taught me how to change the oil and showed me how to check the tire pressure so that I could air the tires up if I needed to in our vehicle. It can be a little challenging trying to get the air filter off when changing the oil I must say but other than that changing the oil is super easy. Anyway, back in the day fathers used to teach their sons plumbing, electrical work, how to fix vehicles, etc. Today that is not what's being taught most of the time by fathers. I believe a man should try to learn all he can about these things. Good to know how to do these things himself. It will save some money, too. In learning these things the husband can teach his sons how to do these things. Men have too much of soft hands not used to any kind of labour and not enough of rough hands from labour. I am not saying the man's hands have to be so callused and real rough I am just saying he needs to be able or ready to do any kind of labour. He can use these different skills to also teach his sons learning lessons maybe incorporating character building into it and it's also another way to spend time with one another. You should want your sons hearts. The Bible says," Son give me thine heart." If you have his heart you then must work to keep it the same way with your wife and if you have daughters. There is no reason a child should stray http://www.blogger.com/img/blank.gifif his or her parents have their hearts especially the father's.

By the way, if you do treat your wife right, give her attention, and love then she won't look for it from any where else just like if she gives you the respect and admiration you crave then you won't look for it any where else. Notice, I didn't say that she gives you love because love is last for the man not the woman. Men are a bit different then women on that. Also, why should she want to do anything for a pig or monster? Another reason to treat her right. Thankfully, the Bible has spoken on how a husband is supposed to treat his wife which I already covered on the subject of marriage.

The son or sons-

Sons ought to be trained to be a leader and a provider. To be trained to someday be a husband, and daddy. They ought to have godly character instilled in them. They ought to learn to build things and work with their hands. Their imaginations allowed to create things obviously you want to have the right and proper kind of imagination not one that is roaming wild and rebellious. They ought to be taught to protect their sisters and mothers. They ought to be taught manners and how to be a gentleman, as well. He should open doors for his sisters and his mother when Dad isn't around or able to open the door for them. He should be modest in the way he dresses, too. Why is it that men think it's okay to go around showing their legs??? Women look, too! There should not be a double standard in the home that a woman should be totally covered but the man can go out places in shorts. There are women who are just as bad as men when they see legs. If you don't think so then ya are mighty naive about women. Period!

Anyway, boys should never be left to themselves that's when they get themselves into trouble. They always need to be busy whether working with their hands or not their minds need to be engaged in something so they should be constantly learning something. They do not need to be destructive but productive. What they learn should be shared with others. They should be trained with a good work ethic. They should be discipline from a very early age in order to instill boundaries and obedience. The Bible has many verses on disciplining. The Lord gives his children "spankings" so why then would we undermine the Lord and disregard Scripture by not doing the same with our own children? Hebrews 22:6-8,For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.
If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not?
But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons.
Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected us, and we gave them reverence: shall we not much rather be in subjection unto the Father of spirits, and live?
For they verily for a few days chastened us after their own pleasure; but he for our profit, that we might be partakers of his holiness.
Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby.

If you have them trained by the time they are 5 you shouldn't have to discipline them but rarely if at all. Notice that I never once called them kids...why is that? Because a kid is a goat not mankind. Mankind has children or a child not the other way around.

Here's what the Bible has to say on disciplining your children:

Pro 13:24, He that spareth his rod hateth his son: but he that loveth him chasteneth him betimes.

Pro 19:18, Chasten thy son while there is hope, and let not thy soul spare for his crying.

Proverbs 22:15, Foolishness is bound in the heart of a child; but the rod of correction shall drive it far from him.

Proverbs 23:14-15, Withhold not correction from the child: for if thou beatest him with the rod, he shall not die.
Thou shalt beat him with the rod, and shalt deliver his soul from hell.

Proverbs 29:15,17, The rod and reproof give wisdom: but a child left to himself bringeth his mother to shame.
Correct thy son, and he shall give thee rest; yea, he shall give delight unto thy soul.

Lord, Your The Best Thing

This is what I have been singing for the past two days. What a blessing this song is. I have it on cd. (I like it best with just guitar . )I honestly can say He's been good to me. The best husband I could ever have. He is the lover of my soul. He is my best friend, and my protector. He is dear to me! How wonderful is He. He has taken care of me always:) Praise the Lord! I love Him dearly. I love how He shows me things in His Book. I am so thankful that I didn't turn his invitation down! I know I am saved and I know when and how he was dealing with me. He won't let me forget how he was drawing me to Him. What he had to do to bring me to Him. I accepted Him as my beloved the day I asked Him to be my Lord and Saviour. Amen! Hallelujah! I remember it all! Now, if you don't know when or remember anything but claim the name of Jesus then ya ain't saved. If ya have to ask your parents then chances are ya ain't saved. Because you'll remember the day you got saved. Before I was saved I had it all down. I wore dresses, dressed modestly, listened to godly music, didn't watch the idiot box, tithed...I did it all. If you ever thought someone was saved it was me. No one ever suspected but I think my Dad had an idea that I might not have been saved. Everyone else had thought I was born again. I mean I had the form of godliness but denied the power thereof. No joke! I had wanted to do right don't get me wrong but I still needed a heart change. But, praise God I did not walk out the door without getting it settled. I was under serious conviction and struggled with it. I tried to make excuses but net thing I know I couldn't take it anymore I had to do something about it. I was breaking and I couldn't control my tears. I was awful. I didn't want to go where I deserved to go which was hell. I knew I had broken His laws and that I was dirty. I knew that I needed cleansing. I knew I was a sinner in need of redemption. I knew that I wanted to be with the Lord in heaven. I knew there was no other way. I had to set my pride aside. That day is forever etched in my memory. If yall haven't read my testimony of salvation the day I got born again, the day I accepted Christ as my beloved then I encourage yall to read it. It is on the right side in the side bar.

Btw, I thought this would be nice to share with yall. I plan on continuing to post my stance on my convictions/beliefs and where the Lord has brought somethings to my attention about what is in His Book, the King James Bible. I don't claim to know everything. I do know what He has shown me. Now, if I am wrong I do ask the Lord to show me.

I want to say thank you to my friend D. that I have known for nearly 3 years. You know who you are. Thanks for the encouragement on my posts on my stance. I needed that. Sometimes when I wonder if what I am doing is worth it or if it has done anything for the Lord it's then that the Lord surprises me and gives me encouraging words from people that I have been an encouragement to or a blessing to. He affirms what I am doing is right and that His Book is right. Living for the Lord has been so sweet. I wouldn't trade it for a thing. He has been so good and merciful to this one. Here's a video by Kent Hovind called Redeeming the Straw Man: Redeeming the Strawman

Redeeming the straw man is a video on a variety of topics like 501c3, licenses, birth certificates, s.s. cards, marriage licenses, etc. Kent Hovind's ministry is not incorporated. He did not want to bring the Lord under the government. He breaks everything down so that we can easily understand. Kent Hovind is a political prisoner at the moment. This is a good video and I most certainly recommend it!!!!

I whole heartedly agree with Kent Hovind. I do not plan on registering my children so that they can become wards of the state. When you get a birth certificate you are now considered chattle. Just look at your birth certificate on the back of it there should be a number. We are considered a number to them. But, hey they get to draw from our IMF accounts that we were never told about that was created when we received a birth certificate! IMF stands for International Monetary Fund. For sake of time I am not going to go into detail about it but I encourage you to research it out. I think maybe Alex Jones might mention it not sure though if he does. I believe that if I ever have children that their names will be written in the family Bible that my family will have. There was a time there was no such thing as a birth certificate at one time. The names of a newborn child was written in the family Bible.Social security cards are a way to keep tabs on us. When I was born my parents never were told that it was voluntary to get a s.s. card for me but interestingly enough it is voluntary. If a child when they are adults want to get a s.s. card then that's their choice but since they aren't given a choice I don't believe it's right to get it for them when they may not want it as an adult just like parents piercing their infant daughter's ears or 2 year old daughters but they are not at an age where they can make a decision based from research or understanding.

Here's something. You can use the family Bible in place of the birth certificate. When a couple ask the state for permission to marry and they are granted it then they enter a contract with the state only. If that couple has children after marriage then because of that contract you entered with the state your children are therefore considered wards of the state and the mother is considered the surrogate mother. Both parents are really just considered babysitters.

Some may ask yeah but what about boys getting jobs when they get older, etc. First off if their Dad's taught them skills and how to make things with their hands,etc. they wouldn't need to worry about it because their skills can in turn be used to start their own business. I know people who work for themselves and do not partake in these things. The whole reason for children to get s.s is so the parents can get tax breaks off of them Just like people who attend an organization/corporation that disguises themselves as a church do. They 'tithe' then write it off on their taxes. Now, I don't care because it's an organization but if it was a real church like a free church that was free to serve their master the Lord Jesus Christ with no restrictions then I'd have a problem because we are to give cheerfully of our own freewill and not expect anything in return. It's not God blessing you for giving when you right your giving off on your taxes.

IF I ever get married and that's IF and have children they won't be tax breaks they will be blessings from the Lord given to me by the Lord and the Lord will be our benefactor, insurance, caregiver, doctor, and physician. People don't seem to understand what I am saying what I am saying is that I may live in this world but I am not of it and I will trust Him. I will ask the Lord for protection/everything because He is my Everything and nothing is too hard for Him. He's my father and I am his ambassador. I have heavenly benefits here and now. He will take care of us. He will meet our needs NOT the government. For he is faithful, loving kind and just. He will never leave me nor forsake me or us. His love for us is an enduring, everlasting love and he promised to take care of us, my family and I, to meet our needs. With a King like that who needs the benefits of a government? I don't. With the benefits of the government there always comes a price to pay. With my king, he requires a SOLD out life for him, to be peculiar to the world but lovely to Him. What more can I ask for?

Beard- Why is it we think it's okay for men to shave their face if God has given them facial hair to grow a beard? I can understand if the Lord made a man Native American and therefore cannot grow it. That would be the only exception. Facial hair is natural and God given. It is God's gift to man. When a man shaves it he is rejecting God's gift. A beard is more manly, too. When a man shaves his beard it's like saying he'd rather go back to their days as a child when they had a baby smooth face? Both sermons are pretty good! The only thing is Bro. Weaver using Hebrew. We heard Bro. Weaver at a christian conference last year. It was pretty good. He spoke on the confederacy and Jack Hinson. Good stuff. He has some sermons on sermon audio on Southern History that most people don't know even those who are from the South don't know!

Oaths- In the New Testament Jesus said,"Mat 5:34 But I say unto you, Swear not at all; neither by heaven; for it is God's throne:
Mat 5:36 Neither shalt thou swear by thy head, because thou canst not make one hair white or black.

Jas 5:12 But above all things, my brethren, swear not, neither by heaven, neither by the earth, neither by any other oath: but let your yea be yea; and your nay, nay; lest ye fall into condemnation.

So, as you see we are not to take any kind of oaths nor swear nor pledge. I pledge to the Lamb of God and His Book. Trust me I am patriotic but not at the cost of disobeying the Scriptures. If we take an oath then we are in direct disobedience to the Scriptures if we are New Testament Christians. Jesus had every right to change things (when he came to this earth) that used to be practiced to something else because He is God and the Creator. Like I said before I rather obey God and His words than man's. I cannot serve two masters. It's eaither Jesus all the way or it's not.

Daddy Preaching!This was a convicting sermon for me when I recorded it that night while he preached.. It didn't have anything to do with women necessarily but for me it had to do with submission to my earthly authority. It's always a struggle for young ladies and older ladies alike. What a blessing this sermon was. So, proud of my Daddy for preaching what the Lord wanted and not ommitting a thing. It takes confidence from the Lord to preach something like this. Ello, Dear Readers!
How is everyone? I feel like just telling yall exactly what I think. In the process it's like hearing my thoughts I suppose. I get so tired of the unlearned "Bible" college grads. They think because they have went to bible college that they know more than those of us who haven't. Now, there are exceptions to the rule because some aren't like that. Some know better than to think that because they know that bible college isn't biblical and all they do is indoctrinate you with what they believe even though it doesn't line up with Scripture. I have found that the more you listen to these students the more ignorant they are of real truth. They don't even know true history. The history they have read or heard about has been white washed over and over again. These people aren't really searching for the truth or answers other than what their so called college professors tell them. They don't ask questions and if so maybe a few. They aren't really all that inquisitive. These students speak before they hear a matter (He that answereth a matter before he heareth it, it is folly and shame unto him. -Proverbs 18:13)that is contrary to how they have been taught/indoctrinated. Those people are nothing more than robots. The truth is is that they don't wanna know truth because they don't wanna be held responsible for their actions. The truth would tear their little world apart. They want to believe what they perceive as truth just because that's what they were taught by 'professors' that they have put their trust in. And in truth they are not willing to forsake others and truly follow Christ. But, you see it requires real study and we wouldn't want that because we'd rather watch the idiot box, go to movie theaters, play video games, and yell like a mad dog at the idiot box because the team didn't make a touch down or the ref called a foul! For crying out loud! What has happend to us? Well, the devil has been working overtime for centuries trying to manipulate God's ways and create diversions to keep our eyes off of the truth including the gospel of Jesus Christ, and to keep up from paying attention to what is going on around us. We have been duped because of our lack of discernment and wisdom(The Lord commands us to in 1Peter 5:8,"Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:) We have become slothful, idol, and worldly. And are not from the Bible. The Lord said in 2Cor.6:17, "Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,"

We aren't watchful so these things have crept in our lives and we have accepted it. It's the sociable thing! We must fit in and be like the world right? WRONG!!! They shape us and how we react to things or think. I seriously can't stand it when people sit there and make fools of themselves getting angry when it comes to sports. We should be angry over sin and wickedness that we see all over. No longer are the preachers practicing the biblical picture we see in the NT of open air preaching. Too many are worried about their image should they or anyone associated with he corporation/organization that they call a "church". I don't care what others think of me anymore. What matters is that I do what's righteous and become a fool for Christ. I made a decision in the past year that no matter what I would follow Jesus Christ all the way although I had given my whole to him after I got saved I wanted to make it known again to the Lord. The hymn that says the Cross before me the world behind me had even more meaning to me. I made a decision to truly not turn back to the things of old that I did before and after I got saved. That if I was going to follow Him it was all the way. I didn't want to just say I would but to actually act upon it. Ever since I trusted Christ that's been my goal was to become a living testimony of His work in my life and to allow him to use me to be a blessing to others. People try to accuse me of trying to cause an uprising against the government and that is not so. The Bible says we are to expose the works of darkness and the gov performs the works of darkness. The government is the way it is is because of all of us who have let them walk all over us. I don't believe in doing anything unlawful but what is lawful in light of the Lord's Scriptures. I do believe in obeying God over man. I do believe that we ought to be praying that people will wake up to what is truly going on and see that 1984(by George Orwell) is truly here and it's becoming more and more of a reality as each day passes by. The Bible teaches us to warn people. We are to be watchmen. We are to be discerning in all things. You see these things we can use to bring about showing others their need for Christ. We need to be aware of righteousness and evil.We ought to know how the devil works otherwise we won't be discerning. The Devil is there trying to entrap everyone into his system, his way of thinking/doing things. And well practically all of America is already entrapped and has engorged themselves with his lifestyle. We live in this world but are not supposed to be of this world. We who are truly born again are sanctified/set apart as children of God and are for Him. To bring Him glory and honour. We are to be holy and righteous in our day to day lives. Remember character is who we are in the dark whether godly or ungodly. The Lord sees all that we do. And I don't say any of this to make myself look holier than thou because I am not. I am no better than anyone. I am not perfect but I try to live a righteous life. I don't own a tv(I don't watch hardly any movies unless they are documentaries or videos that have a wholesome christian message which is rare since it's hard to take the world's industry and make it godly since it was never intended to be godly in the first place. Plus, who has the time to sit around watching videos all day anyway when we ought to be learning and being productive with a purpose?) Computers come in handy when ya want to watch a video:), I don't watch sports(how can a Bible believing Christian be a bible believer and watch it with the practically naked women cheering. At one time the way they dress would of been considered nakedness. Sports players...that's not a real job.We don't need to watch it. It's one thing to play it and another to pay money to watch others play or watch it on tv. Men need that kind of physical activity. They need that manly interaction. They have a lot of testosterone that needs to be released and what better way than to run into each other and run around playing football/wrestle),etc.
We don't really rebuke, or reprove the unfruitful works of darkness today at all.

The Home part 2

The man/husband! The Lord made him to work with his hands but I also understand that not it's not always feasible where they are at especially since our society has made it hard to be for men to be their own bosses with their own businesses where they work with their hands. The Bible does say by the sweat of his face... But, I wouldn't give them a hard time if they don't because they know a real job is where a man is working with their hands and not sittin' behind a desk all day on a computer...I say that because my Dad is at a desk all day but he knows it's not really a real job. He has the desire to work with his hands but it's all in the Lord's timing. The husband is to be the provider of his family whether he is rich or poor it doesn't matter. I find the idea of being poor better than being rich because it tends to prove whether we are willing to wholly trust the Lord and live by faith or proves that we aren't really what we say we are-Bible believers...it's kind of like denying the faithfulness of the Lord. It's like saying He isn't capable of providing...that it is too hard for Him. Do you really think anything is too hard for God? These things are for our good to shape us into the kind of christian that would bring more honour and glory to Christ! We all need to endure a little hardship. We ought to live simply so that others can simply live. We don't need all the things in the world...the material stuff we sure can't take to heaven. We just need the necessities not all the "toys", gadgets, figurines, etc that take up space and time trying to keep the dust off of them. Jesus promised food and raiment that's all.

A man should never stop studying his wife! He should strive to know her likes and dislikes. He should know her interests and vice versa. He should always be wooing her. The thing is ya wanna keep the honey in the honeymoon(Hugh F. Pyle has a great booklet on that) no matter how long a husband and wife have been married to each other.

I think I had mentioned how the man is to be the leader/pastor of his family. He is to lead them in family Bible time, praying, and singing. In the Bible we see the man being head of the household, the patriarch. The husband is the one who voted not the wife. I, myself officially quit voting after I got saved. I knew the picture of what was in the Bible and I wanted to follow it. I believe that it is the man's place to vote not a woman. To me that is liberating not what women today think is liberating.
When Chuck Baldwin was running for the presidency on the constitution ticket I asked the Lord if I could vote and He instantly brought to my mind of how the Bible shows that it was the man's place not the woman's.

Also, I should say here that in the Bible the picture given is that the wife is to follow her husband wherever the Lord leads him not the other way around. Also, if the husband(or wife) has a temptation to lust then the husband(or wife) ought to humble themselves and share it with their spouse then pray together. They should not look down upon each other at all for no one is perfect(should be concerned of course) but the Lord does provide escape from temptation. There is victory in the Lord:) Amen!

This is why we home church. Once we learned of the 501c3 status that practically all "churches" have and yoking with the state plus most do not believe the KJB is the perfect, inerrant, inspired, infallible wordS of God but are apostates that we realized that there was no way we could join a 501 c 3 whore church. They have given up ground that our old preachers of days gone by had fought against. The state is ahead of their church not Jesus Christ... they have entered into a contract with the state just like people do when they ask permission by applying for a marriage license & entering a contract with the state. The state only recognizes what they enter into and they will hold you to it even if it kills you. Just like with the driver's licenses, and birth certificates.

Howdy Yall!

Hope everyone's doin' great! We had a good rain on Tuesday,praise the Lord! I had been praying for rain but I sure didn't pray for the hail we got. I figure next time I will pray for rain but ask that we do not get any hail! Yesterday, I made some homemade pecan sandies and I honestly couldn't believe how they really tasted like the store bought but better because they were homemade and didn't have all kinds of junk in it. They were pretty easy to make! The recipe doesn't call for alot of ingredients just gotta be prepared to use a pound of butter.I might make some gingersnaps later on this week. Since my brother wanted me to make some.

Alright, here I go:

6. The home-

The home is very important. It is a center of family activity and should be a home given to hospitality. You can see in the Bible that God's people were given to hospitality. They would make cakes or prepare meats, etc. when people would come to visit. That's been a nice thing here in the South. A lot of the time they are more hospitable than up North. I had a friend down here for college and she ha said before that the people here are more warm and hospitable than where she is from.

First things first. We already established in the marriage post that a woman is supposed to be a keeper at home right? Well, she should be a willing and good keeper at home. Her actions should be chaste, discrete, gentle, meek, godly, holy, etc. I know it is hard but we cannot put much stock in our ability to be those things. We need to be asking the Lord for help to be those things. It should be our desire to be those and to daily pray for those characteristics.

The wife should not be given to vanity, or frivolousness. She should be frugal, trustworthy, and honest. She should be modest, she should admire her husband and give him respect even if he doesn't deserve it because honestly do we always deserve to be loved and honoured(if you're married) when we have a bad attitude or say something that is mean? Think about it Jesus loves his Bride even when we are unlovable right? So, a wife ought to try her best even when the husband fails. Jesus said to forgive 70x7. Remember, when you get married you are marrying an imperfect person with flaws. God gives grace in those times when you ask Him for it.

The wife is to be a help meet to her dear husband. She can either be apart of what the Lord is doing in his life and with him or she can be left sittin' in the dust. A woman can make or break her husband. She can be his biggest fan if she so chooses. She can build him up and help his confidence or she can drag him and his name through the mud. A man that is confident in his walk and how he acts has to do with whether his wife is being supportive and pushing him to be his best or not. A man wants to be admired and respected...I suppose maybe he ought to think of whether he is someone to be admired in the first place.Just a thought.

Don't you think it's nice for the man to be able to come home and not worry that his wife has been out working and getting "dirty" so to speak in a spiritual or mental sense? He can come home to a wife that takes care of the home, cooks homemade nutritious meals, and has made a safe haven out of their home that he can just let his guard down? Oh, and I cannot forget that she may have dinner waiting on the table for him or she may be at the door waiting for him to walk in the door. Note: The husband should when he gets home go straight to his wife and give her a kiss and if they have children she still should be the one he sees first then see the children. Yep, that's the way to do it! I remember hearing a preacher say that one time that when he first gets home that he goes to his wife and kisses her then speaks to his children and such.

Let me take a minute to say that when others enter the home they should be able to say that your home is peaceful. The home should be Christ centered. It should be a joyful home.

Back to the wife. A man wants or should want his wife to dress modestly in a distinctively feminine way. Her clothes should say feminine! There should be no doubt that she is all woman not half woman half man nor should it scream whorish. Seriously, I have no idea how women think that slacks are feminine...a woman has more power if she is in a sweet flowing skirt or dress. You get more men opening doors for you when you go places than a woman in pants. It baffles me that women seem to forget it was always a natural and accepted thing for women to wear long dresses and skirts. For centuries that's what women wore. They did many things in them, too.
Note: I am not saying these things to look down or think I am holier than thou if there are women who wear pants that may read this blog.

Anyway, a man doesn't want his wife on display for other men to drool over or undress/devour in their mind. Well, a real man of godly character wouldn't. It just boggles my mind the eyeful I get when we go places. I am amazed that any man would let his woman wear the things they wear in public let alone in front of their children. At one time even the lost had some holiness in their dress! All it is is just walking pornography.

Another thing how is it that we have succombed to women painting their faces? Where in the Bible did godly women wear make-up? I mean those who showed honour to the Lord?
Here are some verses in the Bible on this:
2Kings 9:30,And when Jehu was come to Jezreel, Jezebel heard of it; and she painted her face, and tired her head, and looked out at a window.

Was Jezebel a woman to want to be like? Was she a God fearing woman?

In the Bible we see the Lord had made statements about Israel playing a harlot. He had likened them to a woman who was a whore that had painted her eyes. Does this sound honouring to God? Did painting her eyes please him?

To be honest where in the world do we get the idea that it's okay to do things since it is popular or the accepted? Just because the world is doing it doesn't make it right does it? Doesn't the Bible say to come out from among them and be ye separate? Doesn't it say not to conform to the world? Are we supposed to look and act like the world? Why is it such a big deal if we have a blemish or a zit? Hmmm. Vanity rules these days haven't ya heard? Women are not satisfied with the way God made them hence the reason for them also dying and perming their hair. Each are wonderfully and fearfully made the last time I checked my Bible.

The King James Bible says, Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the LORD, she shall be praised.- Proverbs 31:30

I am not saying a woman should be ugly but the Bible is clear. We put so much importance on whether a person is beautiful and of course it is nice to find the person you are gonna marry or are married to attractive but that isn't the most important thing according to this verse in Proverbs. But, if we are gonna talk about beauty why not be it a natural beauty? It has been said that real beauty is what lies inside the person.

Ya know I have a scar where my left eyebrow is. I've had that thing since I was 5 or 6 but I actually forget about it most of the time. Every once in awhile I may get a few zits but I don't let those things bother me really. Things happen so what. I am not gonna hide my facial imperfections from anyone most of all I don't want to hide behind a mask because I want people to see me as I am, the real me the way I really look. Some women get up in the morning before their husbands do so they can have make up on when he gets up. These women take 2 or 3 hours to put it on. Some even go to bed with it on that way their husband doesn't see them without it. Boy, oh boy I can just imagine how harsh it is on the skin and the coloured pillows from it.

I honestly love the freedom of not having to worry about putting it on my face. I love the fact that I can just get ready for the day and just get going. It's been liberating not to have to wear it. I am not sure why I even did in the first place! I guess it must of been because it was the thing to do and everyone wore it that was a girl.

Note: My Brother wanted me to make sure that yall know that eyeshadow is made with bat manure in it and lipstick is made with chicken manure in it:)

Howdy, Yall!

I also, wanted to mention that it is a good idea for the man to get to know the young lady's father, I mean wouldn't the man want to know what kind of family that he was marrying into or rather what kind of father in law he was"marrying"? You marry the lady you in a sense marry the family. You get a whole new family. Also, the man ought to consider the fact that the father might want to know what kind of man is interested in marrying his daughter and whether he approved or not. The father ought to be allowed to observe him. Really, I suppose it depends on the father or if there even is one.I also should point out that the man shouldn't be pushy, arrogant, cocky, thinks himself something(thinks highly of himself), or thinks he knows more than the father or "try" to help him with the BIble especially since the father is older and a christian. He should be humble and be respectful. (Seriously, if he can't be respectful and not be pushy and has all the bad traits above that I listed, I can only imagine how he will be when he gets married! That is definitely not good.) He should get to know the father at the father's own pace (as the Lord leads) since it's the father who is the protector of his daughter and the father is the one who I guess you can say "calls the shots" as to when the Lord speaks to him about this young man. Since, the father is to make sure his daughter's heart and emotions are to protected in case the man isn't the Lord's will for his daughter. It's not enough for the man to think or believe she's the one, the father must hear from the Lord on this matter, too.

But, what tends to happen is that the man will go around the dad and get to know the daughter and then the dad. Or they bypass the dad altogether. Or they'd rather get to know the daughter than the dad so they constantly ask the dad if he can talk to the daughter...sad...sad...sad! Trust me I have had them do that...good way to instantly cross them off the list:) Truth is is it shows their true character. Character that is not gentlemanly by any sense because a true gentleman will do things the right and proper way and if he's a christian hopefully the biblical way.

Howdy again!

Yesterday I posted my stance on marriage. I have a couple things to add to that but for some reason I was already thinking I had posted my stance on covenant marriage and marriage licenses and so I didn't proceed to write about that but then it hit me that no I did not post where I stand on those things! So, this post really should go between the betrothal and marriage posts.

To tack onto the marriage post:
If the couple has some issues obviously I mentioned praying about them and I know I said that the older women in the church are to teach the younger to love their husbands, etc. but I didn't mention that older men in the church can be a blessing to the younger men, too.

Also, when I said they lift the pastor up and put him on a pedestal and what he says over rules the husband in their minds what that boils down to is they believe in unlimited submission to the pastor and the Bible does not teach that just like it does not teach unlimited submission to the government. If they don't line up with the Bible then they are in the wrong.

Covenant Marriage

In the Bible we never see a license for marriage. Marriage is God ordained not man ordained just like God ordained the church and ordained men to preach not the state. The state does not have the right to intrude on what God has established.
What we see in the Bible is two agreeing to marry, to become husband and wife. The parents were in agreement, as well. Now, when Jesus Christ woos us and we accept his proposal/his offer of salvation. There in a sense were vows exchanged. We individually acknowledged our sinful state, repented, and asked Him to save us.

I will give three links on this very subject by 3 different pastors. I do not necessarily agree with everything they believe but they hit the mark right on in their articles. These articles are pretty good! I highly recommend reading all three of them.

Those of you who have heard the term "common law marriage" most likely have been told it means shacking up together for a certain period of time and that makes you married. Well, that is not right. True/real common law is based off the Bible. Today's law that is in place is Roman/Civil law which is the Pope's law. Marriage licenses are under the Pope's law. Biblical common law used to be in place. We can still have access to real common law if we have studied how to access it.

Real common law marriage is where two people agree to marry with their parents permission. They exchange vows, they have witnesses, the marriage is recorded in the family Bible, they introduce each other to others as husband/wife, the woman takes the man's last name as her last name, and their names are together on everything.

Karla's Stance Part 4/Update on what's been happening

Howdy, Yall!
Hope all is well in your neck of the woods! Last night my Aunt and I went to the Ethiopian restaurant for dinner. Dad had changed his hours for these past two weeks so that we could get things done in the garden in the morning since it's been so hot here and that is why I was able to go for dinner to the Ethiopian Restaurant.

We have had so many projects going on. Looks like he has pretty much gotten the rain barrels done but I think he is going to paint them with a uv paint for protection from the sun so the sun doesn't break the plastic down. The barrels are food grade but aren't uv protected on the outside. He also, has to run a test on them to see if they leak or not. We have gotten the shade cloth up over two sections of our raised garden beds. We still have to lay the bricks around the beds so I can plant more things in the holes that are in the bricks.

My herbs are doing wonderful! My Catnip is looking good. I will plant more seeds of the Catnip and Stevia. I have 4 stinging nettles growing and I look forward to drying them along with my other herbs so that I can make more nourishing herbal infusions(I am an herbalist in training:). I actually got stung by the nettle yesterday but the sting didn't last too long and it might be because the plants are still small. You can actually harvest them without gloves if you harvest them by using your fingers to bend the top of the leaf into a upside down u shape. The sting is from the prickles from underneath the leaf. You can even it them raw if you use the same principle when go to put it in your mouth. Nettle is so good for you. It is high in vitamin c and a. It is high in several minerals as well. It's nutritive and is great for the thyroid among other things.

Okay, I will now get to part 4 of my stance. Bare with me here. I know it takes me awhile to post all of my stance on it but it's important that others know where I stand so there is no assuming or pretenses.

6. Marriage

Before I get into the subject of marriage I would like to point out something that I did not mention in part 5 on betrothal. I did not mention the bride price. The bride price is a picture of the price the Lord Jesus Christ paid on calvary. In different countries they bride price varies. I believe that if a woman is worth her salt and her price truly is far above rubies that man should be (and want to/there be a willingness in) asking her father if there is a bride price and if there is, what the father has in mind. It may not be money. It could be a variety of things. Could be reading a certain list of books or time invested with the father. Who knows.A real woman after God's own heart is very hard to find these days even in so called churches(they think churches are a building instead of the christian).Okay, that all I have to say about that.
Marriage is a picture of the relationship with Christ. God uses marriage as a ministry to minister to one another(the husband to the wife and the wife to her husband) and it cna also be a blessing to others if they see two people marry in the Lord and have allowed their marriage to be Christ centered. That He alone is their foundation in the marriage. Marriage is also for well, there's a biblical term her but I can't seem to think of it at the moment but marriage is also for the purpose for having children. Marriage is to be a beautiful relationship. Pure,holy and the bed undefiled. It is where your spouse is your best friend besides the Lord.

The Bible says in Proverbs 18:22,"Whoso findeth a wife findeth a good thing, and obtaineth favour of the LORD." So, obviously it is a good thing.

The Bible also says that we should not be unequally yoked-2Corinthians 6:14," Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?" It is a bad idea to marry an unbeliever. One who does not know the Lord Jesus Christ as his or her personal Saviour. If they are truly born again they will have a testimony of God dealing with them about their need of a Saviour which would then lead them to admitting to an holy and righteous God their a sinner, repenting, and asking the Lord to save them. The marks of a believer are if their prayers are answered, if they have been chastened by the Lord otherwise they are bastards according to Scripture because they aren't sons of God, and also that there was a change after they made a profession of faith. Along with that there should be some kind of manifestation of the fruits of the Spirit.

Now, that we established that I will now mention this since I didn't stress this in the betrothal post that just because one is a believer does not make Teddy right for Susie who is a believer. It's more than that. One needs to pray for their future spouse whoever they might be and that when they do come across someone that they are impressed with and that that person could possibly the one for them that they pray and seek His will first to see if the Lord has that person for you.

Onto marriage. The Bible says in Ephesians 5:22,"Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord.
For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body.
Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so [let] the wives [be] to their own husbands in every thing.
Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;
That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,
That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.
So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself.
For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church:
For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones.
For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh.
This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church.
Nevertheless let every one of you in particular so love his wife even as himself; and the wife [see] that she reverence [her] husband.

As you can see the Scripture is plain. It shows us what the husband is to do and what the wife is to do in regards to one another.

Husband the provider- The husband is to be the main bread. That is how God established it to be. As you can see that Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and many more examples are given of them leading their families and providing for their families.
The Bible says that a man is worse than an infidel if he provide not for his own.

Woman, Keeper at Home, etc.-Titus 2:4&5,"That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children,
To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed.

Psalm 113:9,"He maketh the barren woman to keep house, and to be a joyful mother of children. Praise ye the LORD."

The Bible also in 1Timothy 5:14," I will therefore that the younger women marry, bear children, guide the house, give none occasion to the adversary to speak reproachfully.

Well, we see where the woman belongs. She belongs in her home. It's not to say she can't make thins at home and then sell them to a business or through the internet or catalog or those who know may phone her and come by to buy a specific item kind of like if you live on a farm they stop buy to buy fresh eggs or milk.

Most people use the Proverbs 31 woman as an example and they act like she does this all at one time. She didn't sell out in the market place. She went to the merchant and sold to that person but didn't go out to where everyone was and sell for hours away from home. She had a house to guide while her husband was away during the day.

But, it was a prophecy as King Lemuel's mother said. It may be that over a period of time she does those things. It may be prophesying of the Christian woman in the NT who has the Spirit living inside. A christian woman who has the Lord helping her to be that woman.

Husband loses job-
If a man/husband loses his job or his business goes under what should he do? Should he trust God or in his flesh by sending his wife out to work for another man under that other man's authority and to advance that man's business/making him successful and not her own husband? The answer to that is trust God! Haven't yall ever heard of George Mueller? He and his sweet wife had an orphanage. They were pretty poor. There were a lot of times that they didn't have any food. He didn't tell anyone the needs they had. He just got on his knees and prayed to the Lord many times and the Lord almost if not always answered every single one. He had prayed one time for food or they needed money or something like that and he got a knock at the door and a person handed him that need because they Lord had impressed upon them to give without them having been told by George or anyone else that there was a need. It's called, 'stand still and let God move.'

Women preachers/teachers- 1 Timothy 2:12,"But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence.

No woman unmarried or married has any right to usurp the authority of a man!

I feel like there is something else I was going to add to this but I can't remember at the moment but don't worry if I remember i will mention it in my next post that I hope to do on the home and children. I have many more post to do on my stance like on pagan/catholic holidays that Christians observe, doctrinal stuff...I know I will have those that will disagree because I am not the lock stock and barrel kind of person who believes everything that is taught. I actually read my Bible and study for myself. I don't read the Bible through any man's eyes but I ask God to show if what I have been taught by man is wrong or not.

Oh, now I remember what I was going to say. I was going to say that a lot of christians have this idea that their pastor is their authority first then the husband and so they do everything that the pastor says to do or not to do. He is not to be lifted up on a pedestal. He is only a man. He is just to shepherd the flock not rule over them or have people in subjection to them. My question for you is this: Where does pastoring really begin? Who is the first pastor/shepherd?

Another thing when a husband and his wife have problems they should NOT run back to daddy and mommy because what happens is if you run and tell them all about it then they will turn against your spouse. They will take their child's side. If you want more marriage problems then go tell your parents so that they get in between your marriage. Really, that why the older women in church are to teach the younger women to love their husbands. Everything that a husband or wife should do when problems arise are in the Bible, they should pray about the situation and ask for wisdom.

Howdy, Cowboys & Cowgirls:D Okay, so maybe not everyone that reads this blog are cowboys or cowgirls...ya don't know what yer missin':P I can honestly say I enjoy my cowgirl boots a little too much because 99% of the time that's what I wear and when I am not I am bare foot, thankfully. At home I'd rather not wear anything on my feet period! The feel of the straw beneath my feet or the grass mowed or not mowed....ahhhh, now that's what I am talkin' about!!!! Yes, there's nothing like it:) I tried to get my Pa to go barefoot while working outside and let's just say he doesn't plan on doing that again. *smiles and laughs* I am not sure why he has problems when he goes barefoot. My brother has decided to follow me in going barefoot out in the garden:) It's okay to have dirty, calloused/cracked heels right? Okay, so some of you who(probably citified...I live in the city but would rather be in the country) are reading this are probably thinkin' I am crazy but does that mean I care...NOPE!!! Hehe.

Okay, enough of my babbling/talking of nothing important...no I am not a babbling crazymatic. Seriously, though I will get right to the point and get to writing more of my stance on where I stand in my beliefs.

5. Betrothal

Well, from what I can see in Scripture(The Authorized King James Bible) by taking into consideration the principles, pictures, patterns, and commandments in the Bible that I see principles, pictures, and patterns of how things were done pertaining to "finding" a spouse.
You never see any dating/courtship in the Bible. What I mean is that many forms of courtship do not totally resemble betrothal in the Bible. Alot of times they start courting and pray while courting to see if it is God's will which is like dating really except you may not touch one another and you may have chaperones. I have seen people hurt through this many a times. In fact, I at one time was in contact with a guy who was 3 years older than me and he had listened to the Betrothal series by S.M. Davis...boy was I wrong about that guy! He really just believed in courtship not betrothal but I never figured it out until later. I kept saying what I believed but it went through one ear and out the other. We really had issues. Thankfully, I never got engaged to him...boy, I would of been miserable! There were warning signs along the way that (My Dad had warning signals going off in his head)I had ignored till the end and it was God working and God took care of that. What a burden it had been! I figure now that I am not really willing to settle for anything less than God's best and that includes how things are done. I won't compromise my convictions just so I can get married. NOPE! I'd rather be an unmarried woman than to go through heartbreak all over again. I want everything to be as pure and holy as it can be.

Anyways, back to what I was saying. You don't see any of God's people in the Bible going around dating around for the thrill of it or for a spouse do you? Do you see them starting a courtship with the intention to see if it's God's will? Here's what we see if we are paying attention. Abraham's servant goes to the well and prays to Abraham's God(Jehovah) and he says,

"And he said, O LORD God of my master Abraham, I pray thee, send me good speed this day, and shew kindness unto my master Abraham.
Behold, I stand [here] by the well of water; and the daughters of the men of the city come out to draw water:
And let it come to pass, that the damsel to whom I shall say, Let down thy pitcher, I pray thee, that I may drink; and she shall say, Drink, and I will give thy camels drink also: [let the same be] she [that] thou hast appointed for thy servant Isaac; and thereby shall I know that thou hast shewed kindness unto my master.
And it came to pass, before he had done speaking, that, behold, Rebekah came out, who was born to Bethuel, son of Milcah, the wife of Nahor, Abraham's brother, with her pitcher upon her shoulder.
And the damsel [was] very fair to look upon, a virgin, neither had any man known her: and she went down to the well, and filled her pitcher, and came up.
And the servant ran to meet her, and said, Let me, I pray thee, drink a little water of thy pitcher.
And she said, Drink, my lord: and she hasted, and let down her pitcher upon her hand, and gave him drink.
And when she had done giving him drink, she said, I will draw [water] for thy camels also, until they have done drinking.
And she hasted, and emptied her pitcher into the trough, and ran again unto the well to draw [water], and drew for all his camels.
And the man wondering at her held his peace, to wit whether the LORD had made his journey prosperous or not.
And it came to pass, as the camels had done drinking, that the man took a golden earring of half a shekel weight, and two bracelets for her hands of ten [shekels] weight of gold;
And said, Whose daughter [art] thou? tell me, I pray thee: is there room [in] thy father's house for us to lodge in?
And she said unto him, I [am] the daughter of Bethuel the son of Milcah, which she bare unto Nahor.
She said moreover unto him, We have both straw and provender enough, and room to lodge in.
And the man bowed down his head, and worshipped the LORD
And he said, Blessed [be] the LORD God of my master Abraham, who hath not left destitute my master of his mercy and his truth: I [being] in the way, the LORD led me to the house of my master's brethren.
And the damsel ran, and told [them of] her mother's house these things.

Okay, so from there her brother, Laban comes out and speaks to him. He invites him to lodge for the night at the home. They put food on front of him and he said he couldn't eat till his errand was heard. So, the servant recounts everything and Laban and Bethuel were amazed and they couldn't deny that it was God that had his hand in everything. So, they did not object. But, they did ask Rebekah and she was willing. So, you see that betrothal isn't something forced upon the young woman nor is it necessarily arranged my parents or family members. There is no dating or courting before hand. When Rebekah said yes that was it. SHe was betrothed and she was going to be married to this wonderful Isaac.

Betrothed is what we are to Christ when we accept his offer of salvation. Betrothal is very similar to the picture of Christ and him seeking a bride. That person can accept or reject that offer.

Betrothal in the Bible went something like this: the man goes to the parents or his parents(spiritual parents/mentor or whoever is older and acts on his behalf in place of his parents) speak to the young lady's father or both parents. But, the young man has already prayed and knows for a fact that the young lady is the one that God would have him marry. That she is to be his help meet. The father then prays about it to see if it truly is God's will. If God shows him that indeed the young man is for his daughter then he consents and says that he may ask his daughter for her hand in marriage. The daughter can refuse or pray about it first then give an answer or if she already knows that it's God's will she can right away simply accept his proposal.
In the Bible we see that not all loved each other before the proposal nor did they always know each other very well or at all. The young man or his family may know of the family or know the dad personally. The young man never speaks of marriage or anything of the like to the young lady until permission has been granted to him to do that. If they have never met or spoke to each other that's fine. I know fo a married couple who grew up around each other. The young man onc ehe knew it was God's will he spoke to her father and they knew he was the one. So, they didn't tell her right away that they were taking her to see him until they were on their way and they told her why they were going. When he got there they shared their testimonies again with each other and he told her how the Lord was working in him and he said he understood if she needed time. She told him how the Lord had been working in her and what she had prayed concerning him and that God had answered it. So, she proceeded to accept his proposal.

Then there are people who have known or been around each other for two weeks and have known it was God's will. Some who have never met the person but the Lord impresses upon them that it's God's will.

Anyway, love comes after the betrothal slowly but steady. During the entire time they do not have any physical contact as in holding hands or any other forms of touching(1 Corinthians says it is good for a man not to touch a woman). Touching is something to be enjoyed in marriage only. Because we are all flesh and one thing leads to another. Never trust the flesh. We also see in the Bible that Joseph and Mary were betrothed a year then married. Well, it is good not to go beyond a year period! But, my Dad and I both agree the shorter a betrothal the better. Because emotions ride high and it is hard on both sides of the fence. My Dad and I both agree no more than four months.

My Dear little brother, Bradley has been so creative and has been making guns and a knife out of cardboard. Yesterday, he decided to have a gun shop. Grand opening price was 10 cents.

I told him that I was leaving and he asked where I was going. I am sure he wondered since I was walking out barefoot(I love going barefoot outside so that's not unusual) and in my gardening work skirt and top...he had to be puzzled because why would I go somewhere other than the garden like that. Anyway, I walked outside, shut the door then knocked on the door and he let me in. I then proceeded to ask if this was Big Boys, Guns, & Ammo? He said yes. I got to the sign that said,"Bradley's Gun Shop." I took the liberty to say this isn't what I was told. The name is different! Then there was my Dad takin' pictures and pinching. I said what kind of service is this(jokingly)? I am leaving and because of that my brother proceeded to try to whip up on my Dad..that was funny.

Eventually, I did end up buying a Mini Uzi for 10 cents.

I have a fun, interesting and creative brother. I love him!!!

Government Churches In America aka 501c3

We have given up ground that the revolutionary preachers had fought against. They believed Christ was & is the head not the government.

Now, it says how to start a house church but please don't get the wrong idea he is not against having services in a building that is not a house. Because it's the believers that are the church not the building.
3 things I disagree with him on is that I think If I remember right that he said they don't have an altar or a pulpit but those two are biblical! Another thing is I believe that families are to go sit together in church not be separated to go this class or that class. It's actually communistic to separate them from their parents...that's what the public schools do. That was the goal of the communist party(10 planks of communism) was to separate the children out from their parents. No where in the Bible is this seen. We do so many extra biblical things it's not even funny. We shouldn't worry about having all these activities to draw people in...what's with the gimmicks, seriously?

A good sermon on the Sunday school movement is,"The History of the Sunday School Movement," by Douglas Philips. There no longer is family integrated churches except a few here and there. They have bought into the lie that a child cannot understand what is being taught. If a child does not understand he can ask his parents and they can teach him. Sunday schools are more recent than they are ancient. Sunday school also separates the husband from his wife and vice versa because they believe they should teach someone else's child. Sunday school is putting your children off on someone else so they can baby sit your children. It's no one else's responsibilty to teach them except their parents. The children should already be trained how to behave in church. And people should get over a crying baby. Babies cry and you shouldn't let it bother you during the sermon. In the old days it wasn't a big deal. Everyone was in the same service together sitting with their families.

4. Church

Okay, so no where in the Bible do we see a public church. We always see believers meeting together to worship and fellowship. That there was a meeting place for believers to meet at and it was just believers. I agree with the closed church meaning it's not public to the lost but what if they wanted to come? Well, I was thinking what would one tell them? What about having a separate service on another day of the week. Maybe a Bible study for those who want to learn more about Jesus and his work on the cross, etc. Also, witnessing to people(that's what we see in the New Testament not necessarily soul winning because it's the Lord who does the winning & emphasis is placed on witnessing in the NT) and street preaching(done in a godly and biblical manner).

I'd like to add one more thing to the witnessing part that I mentioned in the paragraph above. Many people soul win but they don't usually have a friendship with these people. Why would someone wanna listen to you if they think you don't care about them? Words do not mean a thing unless they are backed by your actions because actions speak louder than words. Do you take the time to explain everything that you are telling them? A person also, witnesses by their lifestyle whether godly or not. And it will leave an impression on someone whether bad of good.

So, we should "invest" time with others (I don't recommend being alone with the opposite sex though so I'd probably leave that up to someone who is the same sex as the other person) and praying for them, of course.

Bus ministry- Our family was very much involved in the bus ministry at one time. We were like everyone else thinking this was great! But, I remember a guy I was in S.S. with and had been in the youth group together. This young man had said to my Dad once that in his grandpa's day there was no such thing as church buses. It was the member's who brought neighbor children with them and the children sat with them and spent time with their families learning how a christian family was supposed to be. I thought this was great when I heard it and I am not necessarily opposed to this way of doing things but don't you think it's odd that we are always aiming for the children(like the devil does with the public school system)? Why isn't it that we are going straight to the parents and trying to witness to them first? Think about if a child and that is if (because many make false professions at a young age(just like I did) because they haven't been called to be saved by the Lord) they are saved and their parents aren't they are going straight back to a pig stye.

We bring them in in masses and let them go in masses. Some might get saved but most won't. Revivals were taken outside opened to anyone and everyone. You invited lost people. It was away from the believer's meeting place. They are meetings out in the open air just like in the NT.

By the way, I should of included that there are a few that truly do get saved at a young age but not many. I have heard an awesome testimony by a missionary and I wish I could remember his testimony more clearly but I do remember how he made a false profession when he was 5 just because he saw his brother being bounce on his grandpa's knee and how his parents & grandpa were all happy for the very reason that his brother trusted Christ as his personal saviour. But, later on he was in a church service during the preaching and (he described exactly what was going on I just can't remember the details) the Lord started dealing with him. He then proceeded to tell his mama that he didn't feel well so they went into the foyer and sat. Guess what? He could still hear the preaching! He tried to get away from the conviction and it didn't work! Later on that night after everyone was home and in bed. The Lord was dealing with him again. He got up and knocked on his parents door and told his mama that he didn't feel good. So, she got him a glass of water and sent him back to bed. I think this happened again 1 or 2 more times then he finally told his mama what was going on and he finally surrendered and trusted Christ as his personal Saviour.

You see that was an exception that usually doesn't happen a lot. Most have not been truly called or their heart pricked at that age. I know or know of a lot that made false professions at a young age. They didn't have real understanding until they were much older. Some not till they are 12. For me it was at 19 years old. (Again, my testimony is on the left in side bar)

Youth groups- Yes, I once was in a youth group. Boy, oh boy isn't that a messy, dirty place to be. A hot bed of the pride of life, lust of the eyes, and the lust of the flesh. Wow. It doesn't have anything to do with building families at all!It separates the children from their parents. Youth groups produce cliques and worldliness. There are maybe a few people who might not succumb to it. The youth group I once was in at a big church has gotten worse and it was already headed that way when I was in it. There's nothing biblical about it so that is to be expected. It ends up being a social club and who's dating who. It also has to do with job security. To make sure they have a position in the church.

"Bible" colleges and colleges in general- Well, we never see these in the bible. We see Jesus telling the apostles to come follow him. And ya never hear about their education. Christians have taken the world's system of educating them and tried to make it christian. Christians ar ealways trying to christianize everything that was never meant to be christian. You go to bible college and alot fo times men will come out not believing that the King James is inspired but that it is just the best translation or that some other version is more superior because it supposedly is easier to understand which in most cases really is harder to understand. Really, these bible colleges are extra biblical. You don't have to go to them to learn how to do a sermon outline or how to preach or to learn bible. All one needs is the Holy Spirit dwelling in them. All one needs to do is ask the Lord how and what He wants him to preach. Why not ask Him to teach you how to write a sermon outline if that's what He wants you to do? Some men don't use notes or outlines nor do they know ahead of time what the Lord wants them to preach till the day of when they are close to the time of preaching. The best teacher is the Holy Spirit. Jesus said he'd send a comforter after he left. So, we aren't alone to figure things out on our own. What could be better than to sit at the feet of Jesus and learn? The next person or two one can learn from is one's pastor or one's father since the father is the leader of the home until the young man gets married meaning that the Bible says in Genesis 2:24," Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh." See similar verses- Matthew 19:5, Mark 10:7, Ephesians 5:31. So, ya see it's all so very simple but we make it complicated. Now, they did do apprenticeship more than anything else. And so, that is biblical.

God is right and we are wrong when we do not follow His Book!

I hope this all makes sense and that I worded it in a way that would be understandable.

I hope that one would seek the Lord about the things I have said and ask the Lord to show them if their beliefs/convictions are correct and if they line up with the Bible.

My Stance(Karla's) Part 1

Howdy! It's been awhile since I posted and I will Lord-willing be posting on this year's garden adventure. We have quite a bit of stuff growing. I am pretty excited because I am hoping to pressure can:) But,it's been along time coming and I should of posted it ages ago...wondering where I am getting at, eh? Well, what I am saying is that I should of made it clear where I stand on a lot of things.

You see I didn't know where I stood on something's after I got saved back in 2007. There were certain things I believed only because that's what the "church" I attended taught. My Dad had always tried to make me think for myself growing up but it was like pulling teeth for him to get me to do that! I didn't wanna always do that! But, since I got saved I have asked that the Lord would lead me into all paths of righteousness and truth (that includes not only Bible but this country's true history and how this whole"law" system really works,etc.) and ya know what? He is faithful and will continue to be faithful when I am not always as faithful as I should be. I truly don't deserve His goodness.

1. The King James Bible

Before, I got saved I was already going to church for awhile. I had been going mostly to church since I was in Kindergarten. My Dad had made a false profession twice and wasn't born again of the Spirit till 2003 but he thought he was and was never asked a salvation testimony and was allowed to join the baptist church. He wanted to do right as best as he knew how. (short version of his testimony is on this blog my testimony, as well. Just look in the sidebar under posts)

Anyway, back to what I was saying. Before, I got saved I knew the KJB was the right and correct Bible. I knew it not only contained but that it was the very words of God.

Fast forward a bit: I have been saved for nearly 4 years, now and I can honestly say after doing some research that the King James Bible is inspired, inerrant, infallible, preserved, perfect, pure words of God. That all I need is the Holy Spirit to help me understand what I cannot on my own. All I have to do is ask Him and He'll show me. That if He wants me to know right then then He'll show me right then. He wants me to rely on Him not some man written commentary, lexicons(written mainly by lost men-Kittles was a Nazi), Greek(it's not even the original Greek or Hebrew(I recommend reading 'Hazardous Materials' by G.A. Riplinger, the book is about Greek & Hebrew Study dangers) to understand His Scriptures spoken by Him...only He knows what He means and He is the greatest teacher there ever has been since He was the first to teach/pastor. Awww, what better teacher than He? NONE.

The King James New Testament comes from correct manuscripts that are from Antioch where the first christian church was. The other "Bibles" come from a corrupt manuscript text that comes straight out of Alexandria, Egypt.(A good book on this is,'New Age Bible Versions.') The King James Bible is the only one that has it's own built in dictionary. It's really amazing. Say you look at one verse and think what does that mean? Well, if you go down a little further a verse or few verses you usually will find the mean of the word you didn't know the meaning of in the first place. Pretty neat, huh? If ya don't believe me that's fine just please go check it out. There are several good books by Gail Riplinger on the KJB. She has one on the built in dictionary on the King James Bible. For the most part in her books she is dead on. I do not necessarily agree with her "teaching through books" but all I can say is where are the men that should be doing this? I haven't seen any.

Why is it that we think that God could or would only inspire the originals? The original that Jeremiah wrote was destroyed by the King and God had him wrote another but with more to it. Why would God not inspire anything else? copies are based off of the original. If it was just some old book that copies were made after then of course it wouldn't be inspired. Okay, a person might possibly be able to get saved or some of the salvation verses from an NIV but the NIV and any other version cannot tell you how to live day by day. A bible that is inspired will also tell you how to live a life pleasing to the Lord and will mold you into the person God wants you to be. It will shape you both spiritually & physically. It will be a Bible that hasn't been added to or taken away from. It will really have the power to change things around. You will get victory over your struggles/sins/temptations in your day to day life that you won't get from any other "bible." You can't just get saved and that's it...there's more than that it's about living a separated life that is pleasing to the Lord and will witness to others that there is something different about you and that you have something worth living for.

Hope I was clear and straight to the point here. It's always best really to be clear and straight to the point in most cases about what one believes.

Note: There a people who will say that the Bible is inspired but that doesn't mean they are talking about the King James Bible. What they really mean is that the originals are inspired only. Usually that's the case.

Also, many great revivals in times past have happend as a result of this incredible Book-The King James Bible.

2. The Sabbath:

The Sabbath was a ceremonial law. I do not keep Sabbath for this very reason that I am about to say...let me borrow the words from someone that I agree with on this very issue:

Jesus said in Luke 16:16 that, "The law and the prophets were until John: since that time the kingdom of God is preached, and every man presseth into it." So when John showed up preaching the kingdom of God the law and the prophets stopped. Jesus was changing the old covenant law then NOT after his death.

By the way, for all those who have been taught or heard that Sunday is the Sabbath day for Christians now, it is NOT! At least not for me. I used to believe that Sunday or the first day of the week took the place of the end of the week Sabbath but the bible does not say that nor imply it and my Father has shown me otherwise. Hold on now. What I am saying is that Christ as the Lord of the Sabbath is the Sabbath now. He is my Sabbath. In him I rest not in a day. I meet with other like believers NOT the lost to worship my Heavenly Father and fellowship on the first day of the week because my Saviour met with my brothers in Christ on the first day of the week NOT on the Sabbath day. That my friends was the first church service after Christ's resurrection and notice it was NOT in a synagogue.

I might add more to this on the sabbath later.

I am by no means finished with writing about where I stand...this might take awhile. I will write when I have a chance.

This Year's Gardening Adventure

Howdy Yall!
So, here's all that's been going on in our garden and our projects that have to do with the garden(so far).

We are building hoop houses over our raised beds. In this one there is only 3 beds but we are also growing in Smart Pots and Gro Pots thus we have alot of pots in the place of where a 3rd bed would of been. Smart Pots and Gro Pots are made of a breathable fabric. They make it so that it aerates and there is air flow. And if you decide to plant your transplants for good in the ground or in a raised bed they allow the roots to grow through the pot. I recommend looking them up online. We are pretty happy with them

These are older pics from a couple months ago I think. I just never uploaded them till now. Everything in these photos were much smaller but they are thriving and have grown quite a bit. I will Lord-willing, update with newer photos here and there.

This picture below is actually one I took today of the biggest turnip that Pa harvested today. The other's of the turnips and the one beet were taken today.

Spearmint-That thing has taken over the bed that I was gonna use for herbs. Last year I had planted blue balsam mint and peppermint next to the spearmint not realizing that in doing so that they would cross....that means that the blue balsam mint is no longer sweeter or stronger tasting than the peppermint. Spearmint is stronger than the both so they ended up tasting sort of like the spearmint! The mints have really grown especially the spearmint.

Salad blend- you should see it now they are really growing. In fact, I harvested some for a salad today for our lunch.

Last Year's Garden Adventure

Howdy, Everyone! It's been awhile since I actually posted about our family and what we're up to. Last year I had planned to put our pictures of our garden beds and plants but never got around to it so here I am with pictures of our raised garden beds and some of the fruit from our labour. We had started late but still got some vegetables and herbs out of the garden. This year we are right on schedule pretty much. i have already planted some things in the garden like more kale(we have two patches of nicely grown kale already but wanted to plant more kale),peas, more spinach that'll hopefully get up there with the mature spinach we already have in one of the beds, broccoli(you should see the broccoli from last year... tons of little broccoli's growing out in side shoots),more cabbage ( green and red), chinese cabbage, more lettuce- salad blend, red lettuce, butter crunch, radishes, & more turnips.

I have also started some seeds indoors and will include what all I have started indoors in the next blog post.

We mostly we did transplants and planted a few from seed. Since, we started late we did the transplants but this time it's mainly from seed with only a few transplants.

As you scroll down you will see some of our work that we did in layering our raised beds. We used newspaper, straw, composted manure from cow and rabbit, coconut coir, & top soil. We use rabbit manure, composted chicken manure, and worm castings for fertilizer plus a little bit of pure. But, when my comfrey plant gets big enough to use more of I am going to make a tea with it for fertilizing our garden. I will post the recipe in a separate post. I got the recipe from Homestead Blessings," The Art Of Herbs." I recommend all of their dvds. I checked them out from our local library.

Bible Versions

Question: Why doesn't the King James Bible always translate "Yahweh" as Jehovah?

Answer: You expressed a concern about the following statement by Gail Riplinger:

You are correct that the KJV uses "LORD" to translate the divine name in most instances. However, there are seven instances in which the KJV translators used "Jehovah" for very specific reasons. Gail Riplinger actually was correct that modern Bibles have removed "Jehovah" in these seven instances.

The KJV translators used the name "Jehovah" whenever the name Yahweh was found under one of the following three conditions:

1. When YHWH is used as God’s personal name.

Exodus 6:3 And I appeared unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, by the name of God Almighty, but by my name JEHOVAH was I not known to them.

Ps 83:18 That men may know that thou, whose name alone is JEHOVAH, art the most high over all the earth.

2. When God’s name is repeated as "Jah Jehovah."

Isaiah 12:2 Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid: for the LORD JEHOVAH is my strength and my song; he also is become my salvation.

Isaiah 26:4 Trust ye in the LORD for ever: for in the LORD JEHOVAH is everlasting strength:

3. When God’s personal name is part of a place name.

Jehovah-jireh

Genesis 22:14 And Abraham called the name of that place Jehovah-jireh: as it is said to this day, In the mount of the LORD it shall be seen.

Jehovah-nissi

Exodus 17:15 And Moses built an altar, and called the name of it Jehovah-nissi:

Jehovah-shalom

Judges 6:24 Then Gideon built an altar there unto the LORD, and called it Jehovah-shalom: unto this day it is yet in Ophrah of the Abi-ezrites.

Jehovah was the pronunciation of JHVH (YHWH) that the English speaking people understood as the Personal Name of God. So in places where the Personal Name of God was emphasized, the King James translators transliterated the Name Jehovah.

Jehovah or Yahweh?

While I am sure that God does not care whether we pronounce His personal Name as Jehovah or Yahweh, even the New American Standard translators admit the fact that "It is known that for many years YHWH has been transliterated as Yahweh, however no complete certainty attaches to this pronunciation" (Principles of Translation from the "Preface to the New American Standard Bible," 1997 edition). The pronunciation is a moot point.

If the vowels added later in Hebrew (200-700 AD by the Massoretes) are not the way to pronounce the Name of God, then there is nowhere that we can find the correct pronunciation. Many modernist "scholars" say that Yahweh was a local god that was elevated by the tribe of Israelites to the One God. They say Yahweh was the consort (lover) god of Baal, maybe even female! But if you say, "Jehovah" (just like when you say, "hell" instead of "sheol") people know what you are talking about: The One Personal, Invisible God of Israel and the Christian Church.

Gail Riplinger has a point. Something as clear and meaningful as this has been stripped of its significance by the generic word "LORD" or "GOD" in these specific seven instances. Just because the modern bibles (including the NKJV) changed it does not mean they IMPROVED it.

The King James translators understood, as our modernist translators do not, that there was significance in these specific seven places, where the personal name of God was referred to. They transliterated JHVH as Jehovah only in these places, for these good reasons. The modernists have once again simply decided to hide these significant points from the reader.

The Pope’s latest encyclical can read like an ideological bombshell. However, when we study papal history with its obsession for global power, it is not so shocking. The Pa-pacy has an agenda for the United Nations, economic institutions, and international fi-nance organizations. The Pope has called for the crafting of a new governmental body above these groups and intends that the new body be equipped with enforcement power on a startling scale. Much more sobering is the detailed body of Roman Catholic social doctrine on which the encyclical is built and which the Papacy is in the process of insti-tuting secularly. These documents need to be analyzed and rejected before nations and peoples unwittingly concede both temporal and religious control to the Vatican. We have outlined the heart of the major tactics found in the body of Roman Catholic social doctrine, which includes the Pope’s latest encyclical. Our article is called; “The Pope’s Plans on Organizing Political, Economic, and Religious Activities Worldwide.” We consider this to be one of the more important analyzes we have done. Political, Economic and Religious Activities Worldwide

On June 29, 2009, Pope Benedict XVI published a new encyclical entitled “Caritas in Veritate (Charity in Truth).”1 After a list of Roman Catholic people to whom the document is ad-dressed, it inclusively states, “and [to] all people of good will.” The Pope’s audience is to be not only the adherents of the Church of Rome, but also all those who claim to believe that jus-tice, integrity, and love are the ethical foundations of human wellbeing. Thus to induce others into his line of thinking, the Pope includes leaders and followers of every religious creed, social dogma, economic and political persuasion. Many who purport to be Evangelical are already actively endorsing Papal Rome. For example, a Presbyterian conference to be held January 2010 is to offer “insight into some of the factors involved in Protestants converting to the Ro-man Church” and a study of the influence of the Vatican Council II in order to learn from the Roman Catholic communities.2 One of fifty books offered on the Internet explains how you can accept Roman Catholicism. It states, “If you are of a Baptist or Evangelical persuasion … get an understanding of how Catholicism corrects and fulfills many of the strands of theology.”3 Thus the Papacy moves ahead with strategic dialogue for enlisting every civil regime and all major religious establishments worldwide
The Pope’s latest encyclical does not stand alone. Rather it is only the most recent ad-dition to the corpus of Roman Catholic social doctrine. Catholic social doctrine, a tool of the Papacy, has been and is being carefully honed and directed toward gaining both spiritual and temporal control over all nations.

Historically the Papacy has been obsessed with world control. It could not and did not arise until after the power of the Imperial Roman Empire had disintegrated. The horrendous persecutions of Bible believers in earlier centuries did not cause them to give up their faith but instead created turmoil within the authority structure of the Imperial Roman Empire. Conse-quently, the Emperor Constantine in 313AD declared Christianity to be the official state relig-ion. This gave Christians legitimate status within the Imperial Empire. Accordingly, Constan-tine organized the newly designated official religion under four districts, very much as was his military. Thus he replaced the biblical structure of the church with a new military style struc-ture. In the fifth century, as the Imperial Roman Empire destabilized, the bishops of the realm, particularly the Bishop of Rome, were called on for advice. Gradually through this setting they gained legal authority in the civil arena. In the sixth century the Emperor Justinian sought the use the “Christian” state church as a stabilizing force to thwart the disintegration of the Imperial Roman Empire, which had been established and held together by military might. Justinian’s edict in 538 AD proclaimed the bishop of Rome “the Head of all the holy churches.”4 Thus he declared the Bishop of Rome head of the state church over all four districts of the Imperial Ro-man Empire. By 800 AD, however, the shoe was on the other foot when the Pope as religious leader of the Holy Roman Empire crowned Charlemagne as its Emperor.
It was Hildebrand, Pope Gregory VII, in the eleventh century who nailed down the legal power base of papal canon law so that it became incorporated into Western civilization in the legal system. Through Hildebrand’s claim of divine authority for his teaching, the Papacy in the succeeding centuries was able to surpass the kings and princes with whom it fought for su-preme authority in the Holy Roman Empire. It was through Popes Innocent III and Boniface VIII that Hildebrand’s strategy was fully implemented throughout the Holy Roman Empire. Innocent III’s contribution was principally to turn the Crusades from being used against Islam to being used against those whom the Papacy termed “heretics.” The Roman Catholic Church as part of the civil state had the authority to define and teach the Christian faith. Therefore, what ever the Papacy called heresy was a civil offense, and civil authority could be used to enforce conformity to the state religion. Thus the infamous Inquisition began in 1203 against the pros-perous Bible believing Albigenses.5 The Inquisition, the Papacy’s bloody tool for enforcing submission to its dictates by both kings and common people, lasted over 600 years across Europe. Upwards of fifty million people were tortured and killed, their goods and lands confis-cated to the Papal treasury.6 Nobody was exempt.
The beginnings of the breakup of the Holy Roman Empire manifested in the sixteenth century and seemed complete at the end of the eighteenth century. The power of the Papacy with its enforcer, the Inquisition, was broken by the recovery of the Bible and the true biblical Gospel, which were the power of the Reformation of the sixteenth century. Apparent final de-mise of the Holy Roman Empire and the Inquisition occurred when Napoleon’s army entered the Vatican and removed Pope Pius VI from his throne. With that, the destruction of the Holy Roman Empire per se was complete, for the Papacy had lost the last vestige of its basis as a civil power. The Papacy at that point had neither military might nor civil authority infrastruc-ture by which to enforce its rule through its Inquisitors.
Current Papal Progress towards Moral and Judicial Authority
The kind of world government Pope Benedict XVI is seeking to advance is one over which the Papacy would again sit as moral and judicial authority. It is to be a one-world civil body com-

posed of member nations, all of whom are equal in status and power. Over the civil body of member nations is to be a political governing body which in turn will enforce through civil law the ideas of Catholic social doctrine. While papal plans for accomplishing this agenda are still being formulated, much of their strategy and practice is already at work in the world.
First, the Roman Catholic Church still claims that its popes, who sit in the Chair of Pe-ter, are each in his time “the Vicar of Christ.”7 As such he claims the right and the duty to judge everybody and every institution of whatever kind and magnitude. In present day canon law, Canon 1405 states that it is the right of the Pope to judge those in highest civil offices.8 Canon 333, Sect. 3 states, “There is neither repeal nor recourse against a decision or decree of the Roman Pontiff.” Pope Pius XI’s encyclical “Quadragesimo Anno,” is part of the corpus of Roman Catholic social doctrine. It states “[T]hat principle which Leo XIII so clearly estab-lished must be laid down at the outset here, namely, that there resides in Us [the Papacy] the right and duty to pronounce with supreme authority upon social and economic matters.”9 These documents, and many others, state emphatically that the modern day Papacy has right and duty to pronounce with supreme authority upon social and economic matters.
Second, the papal plan will require a new social order as defined by the corpus of Ro-man Catholic social doctrine. The new social order does not apply to the Papacy itself, which is claimed to be divinely instituted, or in their terminology “from above.” It does apply to all peo-ples, all lay Roman Catholics, all civil and secular structures. These all are designated as tem-poral, or “from below.” This distinction is absolutely primary to the Papacy.
The new social structure will include every human person of the temporal realm. In his latest encyclical Benedict, citing Pope Paul VI, states, “authentic human development concerns the whole of the person in every single dimension.”10 And, “The truth of development consists in its completeness: if it does not involve the whole man and every man, it is not true [authen-tic]…development.”11 What many true Bible believers may not understand is that “the whole man and every man” in the temporal realm will be required to conform to the goals of the world administration devised by the Popes of Rome and enforced by the nation states and the govern-ing body superior to them.
The Conformity that will be Mandatory
In order to implement this agenda, the Compendium of [Roman] Catholic Social Doctrine has already spelled out some of the necessary compliances. For example, nobody will be allowed to refrain from cooperating in “the common good.” “The common good” is officially defined as follows,
“The principle of the common good, to which every aspect of social life must be related if it is to attain its fullest meaning, stems from the dignity, unity and equality of all people…the common good indicates ‘the sum total of social conditions which allow people, either as groups or as individuals, to reach their fulfilment more fully and more easily…The common good, in fact, can be understood as the social and community dimension of the moral good.”12

Benedict’s encyclical makes much of requiring freedom for the individual “human person” and for the Papacy. This is totally a ploy as there is no freedom allowed for anyone in the temporal realm. Thus Compendium states, “The common good therefore involves all members of soci-ety, no one [in the temporal realm] is exempt from cooperating, according to each one’s possibilities, in attaining it and developing it.”13 Further, all private property and goods are to be subject to papal ruling on whether it is being used for “the common good.” The Compen-dium, of which this latest papal encyclical is a part, states the position to which Benedict holds. Its directive is the following,
“Putting the principal of the universal destination of goods into concrete practice…means that methods, limits and objects must be precisely defined…If it is true that everyone is born with the right to use the goods of the earth, it is likewise true that, in order to ensure that this right is exercised in an equitable and orderly fashion, regulated interventions are necessary, interventions that are the result of national and international agreements, and a juridical order that adjudicates and specifies the exercise of this right.” 14
While this is astonishing, the directives become worse, the Compendium states,
“Christian [i.e., Roman Catholic] tradition has never recognized the right to private property as absolute and untouchable: ‘On the contrary, it has always understood this right within the broader context of the right common to all to use the goods of the whole of creation: the right to private property is subordinated to the right to common use, to the fact that goods are meant for everyone.” 15
The idea that “goods are meant for everyone” is a principal that inspired Marxism and has been practiced in all the communist regimes of the Soviet Union, North Korea, China, Yugoslavia, Cuba, Hungary, etc. The Compendium continues,
“The Church’s social teaching moreover calls for recognition of the social function of any form of private ownership that clearly refers to its necessary relation to the common good….The universal destination of goods entails obligations on how goods are to be used by their legitimate owners…From this there arises the duty on the part of owners not to let the goods in their possession go idle and to channel them to productive activity, even entrusting them to others who are desirous and capable of putting them to use in produc-tion. 16
“New technological and scientific knowledge must be placed at the service of mankind’s primary needs, gradually increasing humanity’s common patrimony. Putting the principle of the universal destination of goods into full effect therefore requires action at the interna-tional level and planned programmes on the part of all countries.”17
Whatever papal Rome teaches on economics, re-distribution of wealth, and social justice, it does so even while seated as a primary player in international industry and banking. Being in-ternational itself, the Papacy wants increasing influence on an international level.
Clearly Roman Catholic social doctrine envisions neither a communist nor a welfare state because it holds that all goods, including private property, are to be at the service of civil authorities. These authorities will direct how, when, and by whom all goods are to be used. Further, the Papacy understands that people do not come easily or willingly to accept govern-mental authority over the use of their privately owned goods. But it is expected that over time,

with education as to their duty to provide for “the common good,” they should do so. There-fore, bad attitudes concerning participation continue to be tolerated, but presumably only until effective measures to correct them can be instituted. Thus the Compendium continues,
“The overcoming of cultural, juridical and social obstacles that often constitutes real barri-ers to the shared participation of citizens in the destiny of their communities' calls for work in the areas of information and education. In this regard, all those attitudes that encour-age in citizens an inadequate or incorrect practice of participation or that cause wide-spread disaffection with everything connected with the sphere of social and political life are a source of concern and deserve careful consideration.”18
In spite of its incessant talk of freedom, the new Roman Catholic social structure imposes many parameters that interfere with the individual’s exercise of choices regarding every area of his life.
Revamping of the Structure of the United Nations
The envisioned new social structure also has an agenda for the highest governing bodies, which are part of the temporal sphere. To this end, Pope John Paul II, in his address to the United Na-tions in 1995, called for that body to revise its thinking. Rather than to understand its function as mostly administrative, it ought to promote all nations not as a collection of nations but as a family of nations, a much different concept.19 Implicit in the idea of family is the understand-ing of a governing body, the parents, who train, oversee, and guide the development of each individual member. The same idea is implicit in the concept of the family of nations. In 1995 Pope John Paul II publicly set the stage for Benedict’s latest encyclical.
Further, all member nations are to be of equal status with a civil governing body over them. This equality rests on the concept of “the dignity of the human person” and therefore “human rights.” Indeed “the dignity of the human person” is the foundation, about which the whole corpus of Roman Catholic social doctrine continually speaks. The Compendium has de-scribed the Roman Church’s social doctrine,
“The permanent principles of the Church’s social doctrine [are]…the dignity of the human person…which is the foundation of all the other principles and content of the Church's so-cial doctrine; the common good; subsidiarity; and solidarity.”20
Further, the true concept of subsidiarity is that matters ought to be handled by the least central-ized competent authority. It means that a central authority should have a subsidiary function, performing only those tasks which cannot be performed effectively at a more local level. This principle in the society of the Western world acknowledges the rights and freedom of the indi-vidual through self government, generally called self-control.21 The principle recognizes the next layer of society, the freedom of the husband with the help of his wife22 to manage his household, including his financial interests. Last, society acknowledges civil government.23 According to the Bible, civil government is given the power to enforce its nation’s laws by co-ercion and to protect its citizens by making war against the nation’s enemies. Issues of charity,

therefore, are not the legitimate concern of civil government. Rather, they are the legitimate concern of individuals and of the church.
In his latest encyclical, however, the Pope makes use of the concept of “subsidiarity,” a concept which does not apply to the Papacy. He writes,
“A particular manifestation of charity and a guiding criterion for fraternal cooperation be-tween believers and non-believers is undoubtedly the principle of subsidiarity an expression of inalienable human freedom. Subsidiarity is first and foremost a form of assistance to the human person via the autonomy of intermediate bodies. Such assistance is offered when individuals or groups are unable to accomplish something on their own, and it is always de-signed to achieve their emancipation, because it fosters freedom and participation through assumption of responsibility. Subsidiarity respects personal dignity by recognizing in the person a subject who is always capable of giving something to others.” 24
The Pope gives the impression that the Papacy itself accepts and lives by the principle of sub-sidiarity. In its official teaching and practice it does no such thing. Regarding individual per-sons and the basic rights of families, the Papacy claims and exercises its power. It claims to have absolute authority over families in its legislation over marriage, even its validity and un-making.25 In its present Code of Canon Law, Canon 1671 states, “Marriage cases of the bap-tized belong to the ecclesiastical judge by the proper right.” In Canon 1142 the Pope legislates, “For a just cause, the Roman Pontiff can dissolve a non-consummated marriage between bap-tized persons or between a baptized party and a non-baptized party at the request of both parties or of one of them, even if the other party is unwilling.” These are just two of the more than one hundred ten canon laws that Church of Rome legislates on family life for Catholics around the world.26 Thus the Pope’s statement concerning subsidiarity and “inalienable human freedom” is simply a ruse and strategy to conceal his true intentions. In a similar way while speaking of the sovereignty of governments, the Papacy claims authority over nations across the world. Pope Benedict, in speaking of the principle of subsidiarity, uses it to fashion a façade under which he operates to capture power over families and nations. Thus the Pope with many long sentences of many words attempts to entice authorities worldwide to institute the Vatican’s policies.

The thrust of the latest encyclical is to promote the “reform” of the United Nations, economic institutions and international finance so that a newly established authority will be able legally to enforce papal social doctrine among nations that belong to this world body. This is what is being articulated in it's section 67,
“In the face of the unrelenting growth of global interdependence, there is a strongly felt need…for a reform of the United Nations Organization, and likewise of economic institu-tions and international finance, so that the concept of the family of nations can acquire real teeth…Such an authority would need to be regulated by law, to observe consistently the principles of subsidiarity and solidarity, to seek to establish the common good, and to make a commitment to securing authentic integral human development inspired by the values of charity in truth. Furthermore, such an authority would need to be universally recognized and to be vested with the effective power to ensure security for all, regard for justice, and respect for rights. Obviously it would have to have the authority to ensure compliance with its decisions from all parties, and also with the coordinated measures adopted in various in-

ternational forums…The integral development of peoples and international coopera-tion…also require the construction of a social order that at last conforms to the moral order, to the interconnection between moral and social spheres, and to the link between politics and the economic and civil spheres, as envisaged by the Charter of the United Nations." 27

The papal call for reforming the United Nations, economic institutions and international finance under a new universal authority has come a little over a century since the public advent of the new Roman Catholic social doctrine. Strong nations still have to be leveled to be economically equal with the third world nations. Capitalists still abound and stand in the way of redistribu-tion of their goods. National governments throughout world continue to be regulated by inter-nal laws and accountability measures. As such, they are not so quick to give over their national sovereignty. Thus the Papacy wants a world civil authority that is able “to ensure compliance with its decisions from all parties.” It means that the Papacy, in spite of all its talk of peace, understands red-letter perfect the necessity of a new universal civil authority that possesses co-ercive powers to enforce effectively its decisions on every nation. Finally, it is the Pope, as the purported “Vicar of Christ”, and his Vatican that will declare what is the correct “interconnec-tion between moral and social spheres.” Regarding politics, economics and civil governments of all levels – or the temporal sphere – the new universal temporal authority will enforce these papal declarations. Section 67 of the latest encyclical, when placed in the context of the corpus of Roman Catholic social doctrine, shows that the Papacy is very much obsessed with gaining the power to have all the world under it's control.

“Pincer Tactic” The Papacy is engaged in applying a classic pincer tactic of squeezing from the top and the bot-tom to capture its objective. It is employing both the civil governments, as shown above, and the Catholic lay faithful to achieve its objective. The Pope as the “supreme teaching authority" of the Roman Catholic church has decreed the following for it's lay people.
“In the tasks of evangelization, that is to say, of teaching, catechesis and formation that the church's social doctrine inspires,it is addressed to every christian[ie. Catholic]...
“This social doctrine implies as well responsibilities regarding the building, organization and functioning of society, that is to say, political, economic and administrative obligations — obligations of a secular nature — which belong to the lay faithful, not to priests or reli-gious. These responsibilities belong to the laity in a distinctive manner, by reason of the secular condition of their state of life, and of the secular nature of their vocation. By fulfilling these responsibilities, the lay faithful put the church's social teaching into action and thus fulfil the Church's secular mission." 28

“Testimony to Christ's charity, through works of justice, peace and development [as defined by Roman Catholic social doctrine]… form the basis for the missionary aspect of the Church's social doctrine, which is an essential element of evangelization. The Church's social doctrine proclaims and bears witness to faith [in the Roman Catholic Church 29]. It is an instrument and an indispensable setting for formation in faith." 30

The Papacy has put real teeth into its dictates on this issue: “Insofar as it is part of the Church's moral teaching, the Church's social doctrine has the same dignity and authority as her moral teaching. It is authentic Magisterium, which obligates the faithful to adhere to it.”31 The duty of all lay Catholics to evangelize by teaching and implementing Roman Catholic social doctrine everywhere in secular society is obligatory on pain of excommunication. This means that the Papacy has a dependable fifth column in every nation where Catholics are found.
The Papacy’s vision is this: it claims the divine right to organize the whole human race by whatever means necessary to participate in its “divine vision” because “Man's earthly activ-ity, when inspired and sustained by charity, contributes to the building of the universal city of God, which is the goal of the history of the human family. In an increasingly globalized soci-ety, the common good and the effort to obtain it cannot fail to assume the dimensions of the whole human family, that is to say, the community of peoples and nations, in such a way as to shape the earthly city in unity and peace, rendering it to some degree an anticipation and a pre-figuration of the undivided city of God.”32
Conclusion
To organize “the community of peoples and nations, in such a way as to shape the earthly city” is to work to implement a terrible snare. The Lord Jesus clearly proclaimed, “My kingdom is not of this world.”33 The Lord fulfilled all righteousness in respect to fearing God and fulfilling His law. Plainly, the kingdom of the Lord Jesus Christ is heavenly, not a “globalized society” on earth. True believers in the Lord Jesus Christ live in the world as He did. They are in the world, but they not of the world. In contrast, the kingdom of the Pope of Rome is very much of this world. Papal Rome binds men in political, economic and religious activities. Papal pro-nouncements documented here can only be understood in the light of the Pontiff’s continued plans for world government. His presupposition is that the kingdom of God already exists in the Roman Catholic Church. This is consistent with his teaching in his new Catechism, “The [Roman Catholic] Church is the seed and beginning of this kingdom. Its keys are entrusted to Peter.”34 His documented statements are an affront to the Lord Jesus Christ in His work of re-demption. Likewise they are an affront to the Holy Spirit in His ministry of convincing the world of sin, righteousness and judgment. The Apostle Paul wrote under the direction of the Holy Spirit, “the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighte-ousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness.”35 Who can bear with the devouring fire of God’s everlasting wrath? The good news is that personal faith and salvation are also from His hand, “Him hath God exalted with his right hand to be a Prince and a Savior, for to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins.”36 The Scripture proclaims, “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved.” The Lord Himself declared, “He that believeth, and is baptized, shall be saved; he that believeth not shall be damned.” The Lord will always be mer-ciful to those who turn to Him in faith for the remission of sins. He clearly said, “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest to your souls.” Before the

v.61 And Rebekah arose, and her damsels, and they rode upon the camels, and followed the man: and the servant took Rebekah, and went his way. v.62 And Isaac came from the way of the well Lahairoi: for he dwelt in the south country. v.63 And Isaac went out to meditate in the field at the eventide: and he lifted up his eyes, and saw, and behold, the camels were coming. v.64 And Rebekah lifted up her eyes, and when she saw Isaac, she lighted off the camel. v.65 For she had said unto the servant, What man is this that walketh in the field to meet us? And the servant had said, It is my master: therefore she took a veil and covered herself. v.66 And the servant told Isaac all things that he had done. v67. And Isaac brought Rebekah unto the local magistrate to obtain a license before they could be lawfully married. And after Isaac had paid the governing authority 2 shekels of silver the magistrate blessed the couple and said, "You must be the children of the most high God because of your obedience to YHWH in submitting to every ordinance here in the south country." So after this, Isaac was free to take Rebekah to wife, for Isaac knew that if he didn't take a license he would be living in sin and their subsequent children would be illegitimate.

Just in case you didn't catch it v.67 was not the true reading of Genesis 24:61-67 in the authorized version of the Bible. However, the incorrect paraphrase I inserted definitely reflects the understanding of many Christians today concerning marriage.

Many Christians have forgotten or are unfortunately not aware that God has instituted marriage. In Genesis 2:18-24 the Bible makes it clear that God is the author of the union between one man and one woman for life (see Jesus' teaching in Matthew 19 for further elaboration).

Since it is God who has instituted marriage, and put his blessing upon it, the Christian should not seek permission from the state (civil government) to do that which God has already ordained.

As a correlation to this, people who have begun meeting as the body of Christ in a home or rented building often times look to the state later on for their legitimacy as a church. Jesus Christ in Matthew 16:18 said, "I will build my church."

When the body of Christ, the church, seeks a 501c3 not-for-profit status from the civil government they are abandoning Jesus Christ as the true head of the church, and substituting the corporate regulations of the state in Christ's place as the head.

The same thing takes place in the marriage covenant when a couple seeks a license from the state. "The state is a party to every marriage contract with its own residents as well as the guardians of their morals." Robert's v Robert's (1947) 81 CA2d 871, 185 P2d 381.

In a marriage under the Lordship of Jesus Christ it is three to be married, the man, the woman, and Jesus Christ. Malachi 2 makes it clear that the Lord is in covenant with the Christian man and woman when they marry. It is God who is the guardian of the morals in a marriage not the state, Malachi 2:14.

This is critical because, "Statutes both in America and England have greatly modified the ancient law as to the validity of marriages." (35 Am Jur at 46.)

If a church or marriage seeks its validity from the state, it runs head on into the double mindedness of ever changing laws. For several thousand years large families were considered a blessing in China, but since atheistic communism has controlled their civil government in recent times, the Chinese are allowed only one child per family. But thanks be unto God, His word is eternal and an absolute authority for our lives.

The Christian should have no fear in executing the testament of Jesus Christ in these areas. Proverbs 18:22 says, "Whoso findeth a wife findeth a good thing, and obtaineth favor of the Lord." Marriage is a blessing from our gracious Lord. It is God's gift to us. I believe it is an affront to God when Christians in effect say, "Thank you Lord for my spouse to be, but let me check first with the state, and give them 50 bucks for a license to make sure I can receive your gift. What the state gives it may also take away. There is a big difference between God given rights and state privileges. The founders of this country understood this truth well when they said men, "are endowed by their creator with certain unalienable rights."

Pagan civil law is a law of license or permission (which can be revoked), while God's law is a perfect law of liberty under His Lordship and protection. Because much of Christianity in the United States today has drifted from the moorings of the Christian common law, our natural inclination upon reading this article might be one of shock or fear. The Christian common law is simply Biblical law applied, and the solemnization of marriage without state license is done by Christians fully cognizant of their covenant to one another and to God.

We still have vestiges of Biblical truth in most marriages today. For example, why is it that in a marriage ceremony the man comes to the front of the chapel first and the bride comes down the isle to meet him, usually presented and given away be her father? Because our Heavenly Father brought Eve unto Adam in Genesis 2:22.

I started this article by quoting Genesis 24:61-66 and misquoting vs. 67. Here is the way vs. 67 reads in the authorized version. "And Isaac brought her into his mother Sarah's tent, and took Rebekah, and she became his wife; and he loved her: and Isaac was comforted after his mother's death."

Howdy, Ya'll!

I figured since I promised some people that I would send them some pictures(don't do justice to how much snow we really got) of the blizzard we had that I would just post them on here and post pictures of the worm bin like I had promised awhile ago.

Worm Bin with tons of worms(babies included, it's hard to see the babies):

Snow...these were taken the day after the blizzard. There were many people who were driving when it started and many had to abandon their vehicles on the road, side of the road, and in parking lots because they couldn't drive when all the snow hit they would get stuck. Some left their vehicles for a day or two. Wish I would of taken pictures of the cars that got stuck. I think we got 11-15 inches. And let me say that is rare her in Okie. My Uncle took these pictures:

And here's a picture of my dear little brother. He originally wanted my Pa to draw a mustache on him but I said how about a beard, so he had my Pa draw a beard instead just for me:) Awww. Pa started running out of the black marker so he used the brown marker to finish it up.

THIRTY WAYS THAT THE IRS TRIES TO CONTROL
PREACHERS AND CHURCHES IN AMERICA

Each of these propositions has been taken from IRS Publication 1828, Tax Guide For
Churches and Other Religious Organizations, two letters from the Regional Commissioner of the
IRS Cincinnati that the Indianapolis received through discovery, the twenty-two interrogatories that
were included with the letters, and the 4 inch file that accompanied the letter with the news
clippings on the church and pastor dating back to 1971.
The following demands are what the Internal Revenue Service requires of churches to maintain
exemption from Federal Income Tax.
1. The church must have a “distinct legal existence” – According to IRS publication #557 that
legal existence would date from incorporation, page 3. Therefore a church must be
incorporated.
2. The church must admit that it exists by privilege granted by the IRS (tax-exempt) rather than
by right granted by God through the Holy Scriptures, (non-taxable) recognizing another
Head (State) rather than Christ.
3. The church must have a “recognized creed and form of worship”. The IRS must approve
(recognize) the creed (belief) and form (manner) of worship.
4. The church must have a “definite and distinct ecclesiastical government.”
5. The church must have a “formal code of doctrine and discipline.”
6. The church must have a “distinct religious history.” This is denominational.
7. The church must be an “organization”.
8. The church must be an “organization of ordained ministers”.
9. The church must have these ordained ministers who are “selected after completing
prescribed courses of study”. Like the Apostles, who had only “been with Jesus”, local
Baptist churches many times approve pastors who are not educated at all in any formal way.
10. The church must have “established places of worship.” True churches many times have no
permanent address (place of worship), but because of persecution and other reasons have
moved from place to place.
11. The church must submit to the IRS by paying a user fee (tribute) for tax-exempt status. This
would be contrary to the Scriptures, and U.S., and all State Constitutions.
12. The church must be engaged in activities that further “exclusively public Purposes rather
than Private interests.” The true church of Christ exists for the personal and private interest
of Christ her Head, not the State.
13. The church must answer to the IRS as to its “daily activities.”
14. The IRS controls all financial activities of the church including source, donors of $100.00 or
more, and expenditures.
15. The church may not use cash, or it will be suspected of money laundering. All books and
records must be available for IRS inspection at all times.
16. The church must act in the capacity of an informer to the RIS as to who serves at the church
in the capacity of “pastors, associates, counselors, educational directors, teachers, office
help, clerical, and maintenance personnel.”
17. The church must inform the IRS as to who the church helps in the area of charity.
18. The church must inform the IRS as to love gifts to evangelists and missionaries over
$600.00 by filing a Form 1099 on each including those who are regularly supported.
19. The church must use only IRS approved methods of fund raising.
20. The pastor of the church must not preach against the tax system of the U.S. or say anything
against the practices and tactics of the IRS.
21. The pastor of the church must answer to the IRS and give unlimited submission to the civil
magistrate pertaining to all laws, federal, state and local, including “Public Policy.”
22. The pastor of the church must advocate, promote, and actively encourage race mixing if the
church has an educational ministry.
23. The pastor of the church cannot influence legislation concerning licensure of church
ministries.
24. The pastor of the church cannot engage in political activity in regard to opposing
pornography.
25. The pastor of the church cannot actively support legislation that declares that children
belong to their parents not the state.
26. The pastor of the church cannot actively support legislation opposing a state lottery or other
gambling laws.
27. The pastor of the church cannot advocate support of the U.s. or State Constitutions as the
Supreme Law of the U.S. or the various states.
28. The pastor of the church cannot actively participate in opposing the public school system.
29. The pastor of the church cannot declare publicly that the church is to obey God, not
government.
30. The pastor of the church cannot oppose laws legalizing sodomy.

Is Tax Exemption Modern-day Baal Worship?

Many people have confused the tax issue as it relates to churches. And there is no comparison
with personal taxes. That is a different subject altogether. The issue relating to churches and taxes
is two-fold: Should churches pay taxes and do churches have a right to demand that all gifts be
deductible from a contributor's income tax? That is the issue before us today.
The Bible nor the Constitution speak to this issue of tax deduction. The fact that we have been
permitted to deduct from our taxes what we give to the church is simply a benefit that we have had
since the income tax was foisted upon us in 1913. I believe that benefit is coming to an end - and
maybe it should!
Should churches be willing to bow to Baal in order to have the privilege of tax deduction by its
members? Remember the principle that if you get a benefit from government, you willingly put
yourself (or church) under its authority while at the same time losing some autonomy.
The Bob Jones decision (where the Supreme Court twisted the Constitution and reality like a
pretzel) will haunt us for decades. If a church stands for anything contrary to "public policy" it will be
said to be in violation of the Constitution. What is "public policy"? If you preach against perversion,
abortion, welfare, etc. then you are going against "public policy" and may lose your tax exemption.
Should a church have tax exempt status especially when you realize the price that must be paid to
keep it? The price? Obedience to Federal regulations. If a church did not have the benefits of tax
exemption, there would be no "sword" over it. A pastor could preach about any moral issue and
could support any political candidate without fear of losing that tax exempt status since the church
would not have it to lose.
Another question: Suppose you knew a candidate for office were another Hitler who would do
irreparable harm to our nation and wreak havoc with our churches. Under the law your church
cannot help defeat him and help elect his opponent. Why? Because that is part of the "contract"
you have with the government. Is it worth it? Is it now past time for churches to declare themselves
totally independent of government coercion by surrendering their tax exempt status?
Frankly, I think the issue is moot because I believe the government will "cut the cord" between us in
order to collect more personal taxes from each of us. Of course, concerned pastors will ask: Will
church members continue to give the same amount if their gifts are not deductible from their tax
returns? Wise pastors should start preparing their people NOW for that day.
We have bowed the knee to Baal for too long, and while government has its legitimate place, it is
not at church! Maybe it is time to tell public officials to keep their grubby hands off the Church of
Jesus Christ and keep them out of church coffers. And as for tax exemption, we will trade it for our
freedom. Not a bad deal when you come to think about it, and I hope you will.

Free speech and the right to oppose policies you consider unjust may be even more at stake than
we had thought under the present Administration. According to a Los Angeles Times story cited on
What Really Happened, one of Southern California's largest and most liberal churches could be
losing its tax-exempt status, merely because of an anti-war sermon its now-former rector delivered,
two days before the 2004 election.
The Internal Revenue Service has warned the All Saints Episcopal Church in Pasadena,
California, that it may be losing its tax exemption, citing a sermon by the Rev. George F. Regas, on
Oct. 31, 2004. In his lesson that day, Regas (who had previously opposed from the pulpit both the
Vietnam War and 1991's Gulf War), imagined Jesus in a political debate with then-candidates
George W. Bush and John Kerry.
According to the story, he did not take sides or tell parishioners who to vote for, but he did criticize
the war in Iraq, stating that Jesus would have called Bush's pre-emptive war "a failed doctrine," and
that "Forcibly changing the regime of an enemy that posed no imminent threat has led to disaster."
Regas was rector of All Saints from 1967 to 1995, and was a guest speaker at that particular
service.
The response from the IRS was far from immediate, but the church received a notice on June 9
that "a reasonable belief exists that you may not be tax-exempt as a church," citing an LA Times
account of the Regas sermon. Perhaps most ironic is the fact that the IRS cited the Times's
coverage of the sermon, and not the sermon itself, as its basis for the decision; the Times went
beyond quoting from the sermon's text and characterized it as a "searing indictment of the Bush
administration's policies in Iraq," which also described "tax cuts as inimical to the values of Jesus."
The IRS letter specifically cited these news report characterizations of Regas's words. Meanwhile,
current Rector J. Edwin Bacon was quoted as saying, "We are so careful at our church never to
endorse a candidate. One of the strongest sermons I've ever given was against President Clinton's
fraying of the social safety net." Phone calls by the Times, attempting to reach IRS officials in
Washington, D.C. and Los Angeles for comment, were not returned.
A further consideration is that churches all over California have been taking stances on both sides
of the controversial Proposition 73, which would ban abortions for minors without parental
notification. Some at All Saints believe they are being singled out in spite of the tolerance for this
widespread political activity. Bacon said the church had retained the services of a Washington law
firm with expertise in tax-exempt organizations, and told his congregation: "It's important for
everyone to understand that the IRS concerns are not supported by the facts."
In an October letter to the IRS, Marcus Owens, the church's tax attorney and a former head of the
IRS tax-exempt section, said, "It seems ludicrous to suggest that a pastor cannot preach about the
value of promoting peace simply because the nation happens to be at war during an election

America, and in order to help the Federal Government coordinate a national effort to expand
opportunities for faith-based and other community organizations and to strengthen their capacity to
better meet America's social and community needs, it is hereby ordered as follows:
Section 1. Establishment of a Center for Faith-Based and Community Initiatives at the Department
of Homeland Security.
(a) The Secretary of Homeland Security (Secretary) shall establish within the Department of
Homeland Security (Department) a Center for Faith-Based and Community Initiatives
(Center).
(b) The Center shall be supervised by a Director appointed by Secretary. The Secretary shall
consult with the Director of the White House Office of Faith-Based and Community Initiatives
(WHOFBCI Director) prior to making such appointment.
(c) The Department shall provide the Center with appropriate staff, administrative support, and
other resources to meet its responsibilities under this order.
(d) The Center shall begin operations no later than 45 days from the date of this order.
Sec. 2. Purpose of Center. The purpose of the Center shall be to coordinate agency efforts to
eliminate regulatory, contracting, and other programmatic obstacles to the participation of faithbased
and other community organizations in the provision of social and community services.
Sec. 3. Responsibilities of the Center for Faith-Based and Community Initiatives. In carrying out the
purpose set forth in section 2 of this order, the Center shall:
(a) conduct, in coordination with the WHOFBCI Director, a department-wide audit to identify all
existing barriers to the participation of faith-based and other community organizations in the
delivery of social and community services by the Department, including but not limited to
regulations, rules, orders, procure-ment, and other internal policies and practices, and outreach
activities that unlawfully discriminate against, or otherwise discourage or disadvantage the
participation of faith-based and other community organizations in Federal programs;
(b) coordinate a comprehensive departmental effort to incorporate faith-based and other
community organizations in Department programs and initiatives to the greatest extent
possible;
(b) This order is not intended to, and does not, create any right or benefit, substantive or
procedural, enforceable at law or in equity by a party against the United States, its agencies, or
entities, its officers, employees, or agents, or any other person.

Romans 13 & Unlimited Subservience to the Government: Where should a
Bible Believing Christian Draw the Line?
It seems that every time someone such as myself attempts to encourage our
Christian brothers and sisters to resist an unconstitutional or otherwise
reprehensible government policy, we hear the retort, "What about Romans
Chapter 13? We Christians must submit to government. Any government.
Read your Bible, and leave me alone."
Or words to that effect.
No doubt, some who use this argument are sincere. They are only repeating
what they have heard their pastor and other religious leaders say. On the
other hand, let's be honest enough to admit that some who use this argument
are just plain lazy, apathetic, and indifferent.
And Romans 13 is their escape from responsibility. I suspect this is the much larger group, by the
way.
Nevertheless, for the benefit of those who are sincere (but obviously misinformed), let's briefly
examine Romans Chapter 13. I quote Romans Chapter 13, verses 1 through 7, from the
Authorized King James text:
"Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers
that be are ordained of God. Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of
God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation. For rulers are not a terror to good
works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? do that which is good, and thou
shalt have praise of the same: For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that
which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a
revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil. Wherefore ye must needs be subject, not only
for wrath, but also for conscience sake. For this cause pay ye tribute
also: for they are God's ministers, attending continually upon this very thing. Render therefore to all
their dues: tribute to whom tribute is due; custom to whom custom; fear to whom fear; honor to
whom honor."
Do our Christian friends who use these verses to teach that we should not oppose President Bush
or any other political leader, really believe that civil magistrates have unlimited authority to do
anything they want without opposition? I doubt whether they truly believe that.
For example, what if our President decided to resurrect the old monarchal custom of Jus Primae
Noctis (Law of First Night)? That was the old medieval custom when the king claimed the right to
sleep with a subject's bride on the first night of their marriage. Would our sincere Christian brethren
sheepishly say, "Romans Chapter 13 says we must submit to the government"?
I think not. And would any of us respect any man who would submit to such a law?
So, there are limits to authority.
A father has authority in his home, but does this give him power to abuse his wife and children? Of
course not.
An employer has authority on the job, but does this give him power to control the private lives of his
employees? No.
A pastor has overseer authority in the church, but does this give him power to tell employers in his
church how to run their businesses? Of course not.
All human authority is limited in nature. No man has unlimited authority over the lives of
other men. (Lordship and Sovereignty is the exclusive domain of Jesus Christ.)
By the same token, a civil magistrate has authority in civil matters, but his authority is limited and
defined. Observe that Romans Chapter 13 clearly limits the authority of civil government by strictly
defining its purpose: "For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil . . . For he is the
minister of God to thee for good . . . for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon
him that doeth evil."
Notice that civil government must not be a "terror to good works." It has no power or authority to
terrorize good works or good people. God never gave it that authority. And any government that
oversteps that divine boundary has no divine authority or protection.
Civil government is a "minister of God to thee for good." It is a not a minister of God for evil. Civil
magistrates have a divine duty to "execute wrath upon him that doeth evil." They have no
authority to execute wrath upon him that doeth good. None. Zilch. Zero. And anyone who says
they do is lying.
So, even in the midst of telling Christians to submit to civil authority, Romans Chapter 13 limits
the power and reach of civil authority.
Did Moses violate God's principle of submission to authority when he killed the Egyptian
taskmaster in defense of his fellow Hebrew?
Did Elijah violate God's principle of submission to authority when he openly challenged Ahab and
Jezebel?
Did David violate God's principle of submission to authority when he refused to surrender to Saul's
troops?
Did Daniel violate God's principle of submission to authority when he disobeyed the king's law to
not pray audibly to God?
Did the three Hebrew children violate God's principle of submission to authority when they refused
to bow to the image of the state?
Did John the Baptist violate God's principle of submission to authority when he publicly scolded
King Herod for his infidelity?
Did Simon Peter and the other Apostles violate God's principle of submission to authority when
they refused to stop preaching on the streets of Jerusalem?
Act 5:29 Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather
than men.
Did Paul violate God's principle of submission to authority when he refused to obey those
authorities who demanded that he abandon his missionary work? In fact, Paul spent almost as
much time in jail as he did out of jail.
Remember that every apostle of Christ (except John) was killed by hostile civil authorities
opposed to their endeavors. Christians throughout church history were imprisoned,
tortured, or killed by civil authorities of all stripes for refusing to submit to their various
laws and prohibitions. Did all of these Christian martyrs violate God's principle of
submission to authority?
So, even the great prophets, apostles, and writers of the Bible (including the writer of
Romans Chapter 13) understood that human authority--even civil authority--is limited.
Plus, Paul makes it clear that our submission to civil authority must be predicated on more than
fear of governmental retaliation. Notice, he said, "Wherefore ye must needs be subject, not only for
wrath, but also for conscience sake." Meaning, our obedience to civil authority is more than just
"because they said so." It is also a matter of conscience. This means we must think and reason
for ourselves regarding the justness and rightness of our government's laws.
Obedience is not automatic or robotic. It is a result of both rational deliberation and moral
approbation.
Therefore, there are times when civil authority may need to be resisted. Either governmental
abuse of power or the violation of conscience (or both) could precipitate civil disobedience. Of
course, how and when we decide to resist civil authority is an entirely separate issue. And I will
reserve that discussion for another time.
Beyond that, we in the United States of America do not live under a monarchy. We have no king.
There is no single governing official in this country. America's "supreme Law" does not rest
with any man or any group of men. America's "supreme Law" does not rest with the President, the
Congress, or even the Supreme Court. In America, the U.S. Constitution is the "supreme Law of
the Land." Under our laws, every governing official publicly promises to submit to the Constitution
of the United States. Do readers understand the significance of this distinction?
This means that in America the "higher powers" are not the men who occupy elected office; they
are the tenets and principles set forth in the U.S. Constitution. Under our laws and form of
government, it is the duty of every citizen, including our elected officials, to obey the U.S.
Constitution.
Dear Christian friend, the above is exactly the proper understanding of our responsibility to civil
authority in these United States, as per the teaching of Romans Chapter 13.
Furthermore, Christians, above all people, should desire that their elected representatives submit
to the Constitution, because it is constitutional government that has done more to protect Christian
liberty than any governing document ever devised by man..
As a result, Christians in America (for the most part) have not had to face the painful decision to
"obey God rather than men" and defy their civil authorities.
The problem in America today is that we have allowed our political leaders to violate their oaths of
office and to ignore, and blatantly disobey, the "supreme Law of the Land," the U.S. Constitution.
Therefore, if we truly believe Romans Chapter 13, we will insist and demand that our civil
magistrates submit to the U.S. Constitution.
Now, how many of us Christians are going to truly obey Romans Chapter 13?

The Federal Government rightly knows that many, many gun owners are genuine Christians.
Therefore, in the early stages of the managed crisis which will give Federal officials the opportunity
to dissolve our Constitutional government and take away our freedoms, they know they will have to
deal with gun owners who are Bible-believing Christians.
How can the government possibly convince these Christian gun owners to surrender their guns
peaceably? Remember, the first acts a dictatorial government always takes is to declare martial

The government plans to create the conditions ripe for the imposition of dictatorship. What is their
plan?
1) Huge disaster -- in this case, the Illuminati plans another disaster on the scale of 9/11, or
possibly even greater. Such a disaster would provide the pretext to implement their plan created
over 100 years ago; we speak more of this fact, below, as we discuss "The Protocols of the
Learned Elders of Zion".
2) Forced relocation from their homes -- New Orleans residents were forced to relocate out of
their neighborhoods, in many instances to other states. Disclocation is key to disruption of normal
life for tens of millions of civilians.
3) American troops could patrol the city, because Presidents Clinton and Bush have
consistently eroded the prohibitions of the Posse' Comitatus Act. It generally prohibits Federal
military personnel and units of the United States National Guard under Federal authority from
acting in a law enforcement capacity within the United States, except where expressly authorized
by the Constitution or Congress. The Posse Comitatus Act and the Insurrection Act substantially
limit the powers of the Federal government to use the military for law enforcement.In New Orleans
after Hurricane Katrina, Army troops did engage in law enforcement duties, as the video, below,
demonstrates.
Now, let us return to this feature story, so we can see the role the government envisions for
clergymen who do not know their Bibles. You will literally see that deceived and/or "wolves in
sheep's clothing" clergymen are going to fulfill the role of the "Judas Goat", the animal which
sheepherders use to be the first up the ramp to the slaughter truck, knowing that, once sheep see
the goat going up the ramp, they will quietly and meekly follow -- going to their slaughter without
resistance!
"If martial law were enacted here at home, like depicted in the movie 'The Siege', easing public
fears and quelling dissent would be critical. And that's exactly what the 'Clergy Response Team'
helped accomplish in the wake of Katrina. Dr. Durell Tuberville serves as chaplain for the
Shreveport Fire Department and the Caddo Sheriff's Office. Tuberville said of the clergy team's
mission, 'the primary thing that we say to anybody is, 'let's cooperate and get this thing over with
and then we'll settle the differences once the crisis is over.' " (Ibid., Emphasis added)
That last concept is most interesting, don't you think? Liberal clergy will be assuring their flock that
they will soon get their freedoms and their Constitution back "once the crisis is over". Isn't it
interesting that the Illuminati thought of this very concept as they planned over 100 years ago to
take our freedoms from us? Listen to their exact wording:
"4. WE ARE WOLVES -- The [people] are a flock of sheep, and we are their wolves. And you know
what happens when the wolves get hold of the flock?

To see how important this false assurance is going to be to these clergymen in convincing people
to cooperate with the Federal Government, let us return to this current news article.
"Civil rights advocates believe the amount of public cooperation during such a time of unrest may
ultimately depend on how long they expect a suspension of rights might last." (Ibid.)
All clergymen who plan on cooperating with the Federal Government by holding up the false hope
that, when the crisis is over, the people will get their freedoms and their Constitution back, had
better think again! No hungry wolf ever spares the life of his victim once he has him in his jaws.
Neither will this most power-hungry Illuminati ever give his victims another chance once he has
disbanded the beloved American Constitution.
Lest you think I am wrong on this issue, listen to a current Illuminati boldly state this part of the
Plan.

At this point, you must be asking yourself a pertinent question: since Christians place much stock in
the Bible, will these liberal clergymen be able to base their message of cooperation with the
government upon any Scripture?

Too many churches and pastors have been misleading their flocks on this issue for the past 100

While we cannot quote it at length here, we encourage you to read it fully, for Pastor Baldwin
debunks the use of Romans 13 as the basis for meekly cooperating with the government all of the

During the reign of Adolf Hitler, three prominent Protestant theologians were dramatically
successful in convincing German Protestants to cooperate with Hitler, including with his genocide

The Illuminati here in America is using this same tactic, and will most assuredly get the same
cooperative response, from a Christian population not familiar enough with Romans 13 to know
when they are being deceived.
When America has reached this unfortunate point, will these liberal clergymen also use the powers

I personally believe that much of the reason genuine Christians will be turned in to authorities is
because church leaders submissive to the government will turn them in. Hitler was so
successful in turning Germany from a democracy to the kind of dictatorial power which could
murder 18 million devalued people and begin a war which would consume the lives of tens of
millions, that the current Illuminati leadership is following his example.
If you are a genuine Christian pastor, are you prepared for officers of Homeland Security to
enter your sanctuary, to sit down on your front row -- dressed in intimidating official
clothing -- and to listen to your sermon and your announcements? Are you prepared to have
them arrest you after the service for not adhering to official government guidelines as to
what you can and cannot say?
These intimidation tactics worked extremely well during Hitler's reign, and they will work once
again, all over the world. Pastors need to remember the era in which they are living, and not
succumb to the temporary political and religious pressure from your Illuminist government, but keep

A shocking KSLA news report has confirmed the story we first broke last year, that Clergy
Response Teams are being trained by the federal government to "quell dissent" and pacify citizens
to obey the government in the event of a declaration of martial law.
In May 2006, we exposed the existence of a nationwide FEMA program which is training Pastors
and other religious representatives to become secret police enforcers who teach their
congregations to "obey the government" in preparation for the implementation of martial law,
property and firearm seizures, mass vaccination programs and forced relocation.
A whistleblower who was secretly enrolled into the program told us that the feds were clandestinely
recruiting religious leaders to help implement Homeland Security directives in anticipation of a
potential bio-terrorist attack, any natural disaster or a nationally declared emergency.
The first government led directive was for Pastors to preach to their congregations Romans
13, the often taken out of context bible passage that was used by Hitler to hoodwink Christians into
supporting him, in order to teach them to "obey the government" when martial law is declared.
It was related to the Pastors that quarantines, martial law and forced relocation were a problem for
state authorities when enforcing federal mandates due to the "cowboy mentality" of citizens
standing up for their property and second amendment rights as well as farmers defending their
crops and livestock from seizure.
It was stressed that the Pastors needed to preach subservience to the authorities ahead of time in
preparation for the round-ups and to make it clear to the congregation that "this is for their own
good."
Pastors were told that they would be backed up by law enforcement in controlling uncooperative
individuals and that they would even lead SWAT teams in attempting to quell resistance.
Though some doubted the accuracy of this report at the time due to its fundamentally disturbing
implications, the story has now been confirmed by a KSLA 12 news report, in which participating
clergy and officials admit to the existence of the program.

Such clergy response teams would walk a tight-rope during martial law between the demands of
the government on the one side, versus the wishes of the public on the other. "In a lot of cases,
these clergy would already be known in the neighborhoods in which they're helping to diffuse that
situation," assured Sandy Davis. He serves as the director of the Caddo-Bossier Office of
Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness.
For the clergy team, one of the biggest tools that they will have in helping calm the public down or

So there you have it - Homeland Security are working with local police departments and religious
leaders to prepare for the declaration of martial law and in particular developing techniques they
will employ during the crisis to "quell dissent."
Phony Christian leaders are brainwashing their congregations to accept the premise that the
totalitarian police state is "of the Lord" and that they should get on their knees and lick jackboots
while the round-ups take place as citizens are processed into quarantine zones and detention
camps by the National Guard and U.S. troops returning from Iraq.
The precedent for mass gun confiscation and martial law in times of a real or manufactured
emergency was set during Hurricane Katrina, when police and National Guard patrols forced home
owners - even in areas unaffected by the hurricane - to hand over their legally owned firearms at
gunpoint.
This is a clear precursor for the imminent declaration of a state of emergency, a scenario that
President Bush codified in his recent Presidential Decision Directive of May 9th, which states in
the event of a "catastrophic event" the President can take total control over the government
and the country, bypassing all other levels of government at the state, federal, local,
territorial and tribal levels, and thus ensuring total unprecedented dictatorial power.
The scope of the program is so secretive that even Homeland Security Committee member and
Congressman Peter DeFazio was denied access to view the classified portion of the documents.
Clergy to be used to quell dissent
WDN--August 18, 2007--A government plan to use members of the clergy to quell dissent and
objections to government orders during a time of national emergency has been revealed by a
Shreveport, La., television station.The story by reporter Jeff Ferrell on television station KSLA says
such "Clergy Response Teams" already have been used - following the hit on New Orleans by
hurricane Katrina.The station's video is available on a link on its website, and also available on
YouTube. It asks if martial law ever could become reality in the United States, following a nuclear,
biological or chemical attack.
The report said one of the biggest tools the clergy members would use would be the Bible itself,
specifically Romans 13, where Tuberville said the Bible states "the government's established by the
Lord, you know. And, that's what we believe in the Christian faith. That's what's stated in the
Scripture." A blogger for the Christian education site, Chalcedon noted that the training has been

Secret FEMA Plan To Use Pastors as Pacifiers in
Preparation For Martial Law
Nationwide initiative trains volunteers to teach
congregations to "obey the government" during

A Pastor has come forward to blow the whistle on a nationwide FEMA program
which is training Pastors and other religious representatives to become secret
police enforcers who teach their congregations to "obey the government" in
preparation for a declaration of martial law, property and firearm seizures, and
forced relocation.
In March of this year the Pastor, who we shall refer to as Pastor Revere, was
invited to attend a meeting of his local FEMA chapter which circulated around
preparedness for a potential bio-terrorist attack, any natural disaster or a
nationally declared emergency.
The FEMA directors told the Pastors that attended that it was their job to help
implement FEMA and Homeland Security directives in anticipation of any of
these eventualities. The first directive was for Pastors to preach to their
congregations Romans 13, the often taken out of context bible passage that was
used by Hitler to hoodwink Christians into supporting him, in order to teach them
to "obey the government" when martial law is declared.
It was related to the Pastors that quarantines, martial law and forced relocation
were a problem for state authorities when enforcing federal mandates due to the
"cowboy mentality" of citizens standing up for their property and second
amendment rights as well as farmers defending their crops and livestock from
seizure. It was stressed that the Pastors needed to preach subservience to the
authorities ahead of time in preparation for the round-ups and to make it clear to
the congregation that "this is for their own good."
We have received confirmation from other preachers and Pastors that this
program is a nationwide initiative and a literal Soviet model whereby the
churches are being systematically infiltrated by government volunteers and used
as conduits for martial law training and conditioning. The Pastor was told that
over 13,000 counties were already on board.
It falls under the umbrella of the NVOAD program which is training volunteers in
a "Peer to Peer" program in a neighborhood setting.
Pastors were told that the would be backed up by law enforcement in controlling
uncooperative individuals and that they would even lead SWAT teams in
attempting to quell resistance.

"We get the the picture that we're going to be standing at the end of some
farmer's lane while he's standing there with his double barrel, saying we have to
confiscate your cows, your chickens, your firearms," said Pastor Revere.
The Pastor elaborated on how the directives were being smoke screened by an
Orwellian alteration of their names.
"They're not using the term 'quarantine' - this is the term they're going to be using
- it's called 'social distancing' don't you like that one," said the Pastor.
He also highlighted how detention camps had been renamed to give them a
friendly warm veneer.
"Three months ago it was quarantine and relocation centers and now it's
'community centers' and these are going to be activated at the local schools," he
said.
Pastor Revere outlined the plan to carry out mass vaccination and enforced
drugging programs in times of crisis such as a bird flu outbreak.
"In the event of an outbreak or a bio-terrorist attack, there'd be a mass
vaccination....they have a program nationwide 'Pills in People's Palm In 48
Hours'," said the Pastor who was told that Walmart had been designated as the
central outlet of this procedure.
Pastor Revere said that many attendees believed in the necessity of the program
and were completely unaware to the motivations behind its true purpose and
were offered incentives to become volunteers such as preferential treatment and
first access for themselves and their families to vaccines and food shipments in
times of emergency.
Which roads to close off after martial law was declared had also already been
mapped out.
The precedent for mass gun confiscation in times of real or manufactured
emergency was set during Hurricane Katrina when police and national guard
patrols forced homeowners even in areas unaffected by the hurricane to hand
over their legally owned firearms at gunpoint as is detailed in the video below.

forced relocation and gun confiscation.
Alex Jones' 2001 documentary film 9/11: The Road to Tyranny featured footage
from a FEMA symposium given to firefighters and other emergency personnel in
Kansas City in which it was stated that the founding fathers, Christians and
homeschoolers were terrorists and should be treated with the utmost suspicion
and brutality in times of national emergency.
We have highlighted previous training manuals issues by state and federal
government bodies which identify whole swathes of the population as potential
terrorists. A Texas Department of Public Safety Criminal Law Enforcement
pamphlet gives the public characteristics to identify terrorists that include buying
baby formula, beer, wearing Levi jeans, carrying identifying documents like a
drivers license and traveling with women or children.
A Virginia training manual used to help state employees recognize terrorists
lists anti-government and property rights activists as terrorists and includes
binoculars, video cameras, pads and notebooks in a compendium of terrorist
tools.
Shortly after 9/11 a Phoenix FBI manual that was disseminated amongst federal
employees at the end of the Clinton term caused waves on the Internet after it
was revealed that potential terrorists included, "defenders of the US Constitution
against federal government and the UN, " and individuals who "make numerous
references to the US Constitution." Lawyers everywhere cowered in fear at being
shipped off to Gitmo.
In December 2003 the FBI warned Americans nationwide to be on the lookout
for people reading Almanacs as this could indicate an act of terrorism in
planning. Almanacs are popular glove box inventory of any vehicle and this
ludicrous fearmongering was met with a raucous response from satirists and
news commentators.
In another twilight zone Nazi-like spectacle, Pastors were asked to make a
pledge or an affirmation during the meeting to fulfil the roles ascribed to them by
FEMA. They were given assurances that they would be covered by full
compensation in the event of resisters injuring them during property seizures and
round-ups.
The Pastor said that his county had already succumbed to a tattle-tale like
mentality where neighbors were reporting neighbors to the authorities for things
like having chickens in their back yard. The brown shirt precedent has been set
whereby people immediately turn to the authorities in fealty whenever their
paranoid suspicions, fueled by zealous government and media fearmongering,
are heightened.
Pastor Revere said the completion of the first stage of the program was slated for
August 31st. At this point all the counties within the United States would be
networked as part of the so-called disaster relief program.
We issue a challenge to all of our readers to print off this article and the
supporting documents and confront their local preacher with it. If they don't
receive a response within a week they should investigate further into whether
their preacher is involved and hand out information to other members of the
congregation.

The Surrender and Betrayal of the Church The
Unholy Union of the Church with the State thru
Incorporation and Tax Exemption by Sam Adams
A great and treacherous apostasy has taken place in the churches of America to
which most Christians are totally oblivious, but which almost every church in
America has fallen prey to. Though the New Testament Church has been called
out to be the faithful bride of her one and only husband, the Lord Jesus Christ,
she has betrayed her espoused head. The Apostle Paul said to the church at
Corinth, “For I am jealous over you with a godly jealousy; for I have espoused
you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ. But I
fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your
minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ” (2 Cor. 11:2-3).
Just as Old Testament Israel was unfaithful to her husband and went “whoring”
after other gods, so has the Church in America corrupted herself, and as the
Apostle feared, has indeed been beguiled by the Serpent as was Eve. Like the
church at Ephesus she has left her first love, and has joined herself in an
adulterous affair with another head, the civil government, otherwise known as the
state, and has thereby been neutralized from being the “salt” of our society (Mt
5:13). This betrayal has taken place by: (1) re-organizing the churches into
fictitious corporations which by law are created by and therefore controlled by the
state, and by: (2) entering into a traitorous contract with the government to limit
their message and influence in society in exchange for tax exemption. Though
the Bible clearly teaches that Christ is to be head over all things to the church
(Eph. 1:22), the churches have taken the idolatrous position that the Lord Jesus
must share his lordship over his Church with the state; and they are furthermore,
except for a few brave souls, refusing to see how great and abominable this sin
is, and are refusing to repent and correct their error. In this exposé the following
facts will be conclusively shown:
1. Incorporated “churches” are not and cannot be true New Testament churches,
in that: • Corporations are created by the state, not by Jesus; • Their head and
master by law is the State, not Jesus; • Their final authority for faith and practice
by law is their corporate charter and statute law, not the Bible; • At law their
property belongs to the State, not to God • Their pastors do not have Biblical
authority (per Heb. 13:7,
17; etc.) over their flocks but are mere hirelings (John 10:12) under authority of
the corporate trustees, and:
2. Tax Exemption for “not-for-profit” organizations (for corporations, trusts and
unincorporated associations) under Internal Revenue Code sec. 501(c)3 is a trap
used by the government to control the churches and silence the preachers of
America from influencing our government and society, and from crying out
against wicked government policies, politics and politicians. For the churches to
enter into such a treacherous contract with the state constitutes a grievous,
abominable SIN. In fact, for all practical purposes it is a sin very similar to taking
the "mark of the beast" (Rev. 13) upon the Church, in betraying the Lordship of
Christ by bowing to the supremacy of the state. The civil government has always,
from the first century onward, attempted to control and subjugate the Church of
the Lord Jesus Christ. The Jewish Sanhedrin asked Peter of his authority to
preach and heal in Acts 4:7, “By what power, or by what name [(i.e., By whose
authority)], have ye done this?” This was essentially the same question they had
asked the Lord Jesus in Matt 21:23: “By what authority doest thou these things?
and who gave thee this authority?” They wanted the disciples to ask them for
their permission or authority to preach. They may have let them preach about
Jesus, but only under their authority. It has been the same down through the
ages, through the days of intense and bloody persecution of the true church by
the Roman Caesars and then for many centuries by the Roman Papacy, after the
apostate church entered into an unholy marriage compact with Roman emperor
Constantine in the fourth century. The issue has always been who would control
the Church; civil/ecclesiastical government, or the Lord Jesus. One of the primary
reasons God had so blessed America is that under our Constitutional system and
Bill of Rights, the Church could for the first time in history function unhindered by
the state. Before that time, even in America, most of the 13 colonies had their
own state churches, which often persecuted those of dissenting denominations.
Patrick Henry’s timeless quote, “I know not what course other men may take, but
as for me, give me liberty or give me death” was inspired when he witnessed a
man being publicly flogged in Culpepper, Virginia, in March of 1775. The man
was of one of twelve Baptist preachers jailed for preaching without a license from
the state (Episcopal) church. In 1789 there were many delegates to the
Constitutional Convention who were still of the belief that the nation must select
and support a state church. It was primarily at the insistence of the Baptists of
Rhode Island, assisted by Madison and Jefferson of Virginia, that the First
Amendment was adopted guaranteeing that no particular denominational sect
would be sanctioned by the government. During Madison’s presidency the
Episcopal Church sought incorporation through Congress. Madison vetoed the
legislation, saying that if the government incorporated the Episcopal Church it
would have created a state church. For over a hundred years after the adoption
of the Bill of Rights, the Church stood rightly as the “watchdog” over the
government, holding government accountable to the Word of God (Ps. 149:5-9).
Legislation in Christian America back then had to pass the “pulpit test”; if it
wouldn’t preach well from the pulpits it would surely not pass in the legislature.
Sadly, those days are now long gone and the Church has been effectively
silenced. It has become incorporated, and it has, to its shame, become a state
church. A CORPORATION CANNOT BE A CHURCH A true New Testament
church cannot organize as a corporation, because a corporation cannot be a true
New Testament church. What exactly is a corporation? Black’s Law Dictionary
(6th. Ed.) defines a corporation as “an artificial person or legal entity created by
or under the authority of the laws of a state. An association of persons created by
statute as a legal entity.” By law, corporations are created by the state and are
therefore by law under the state’s jurisdiction and control. To affirm this point, in
the landmark case of Hale v. Hinkle, 201 U.S.
43 (1906), the U.S. Supreme Court made the following very revealing
declaration: “A corporation is a creature of the state. It is presumed to be
incorporated for the benefit of the public. It receives certain special privileges and
franchises and holds them subject to the laws of the state and the limitations of
its charter. Its powers are limited by law. It can make no contract not authorized
by its charter. Its right to act as a corporation are only preserved to it so long as it
obeys the laws of its creation. There is a reserved right in the legislature to
investigate its contracts and ascertain if it has exceeded its power.” (emphasis
added) It should be obvious to every thinking Christian that every statement in
the above legal definition of a corporation is diametrically opposed to the Biblical
definition of the Church and to the lordship of Christ over His church. Consider
these statements one by one: “A corporation is a creature of the state...” Our
copyright and patent laws are based on the legal maxim that the creator always
has ownership and control over his creation. By law whatever the state creates,
the state controls. A New Testament church cannot be a creature of the state;
Jesus founded the church and said He would build His church. “...It is presumed
to be incorporated for the benefit of the public...” The Church exists for the
benefit of its members (1 Cor. 12) and its head, the Lord Jesus Christ, NOT the
public. Jesus promised us that the world (the public) would HATE the Church
(John 15:18-
19). Corporate churches must by law exist for the benefit of the public, which is
exactly why the IRS says they cannot publicly preach any “propaganda” contrary
to established public policy. “...It receives certain special privileges and
franchises...” (the Church exists and functions as a matter of right, not of
privilege; by order of the Lord Jesus’ commission in Matthew 28:18-20, not by
permission from the government) “and holds them subject to the laws of the state
and the limitations of its charter [(not the Bible)]. Its powers are limited by law
[(not the Bible)]. It can make no contract not authorized by its charter [(not the
Bible)]. Its right to act as a corporation are only preserved to it so long as it obeys
the laws of its creation.” By law the first and final authority for the corporation is
the corporation’s charter
(corporate constitution and by-laws) and corporate statute law, not the Bible.
“There is a reserved right in the legislature to investigate its contracts and
ascertain if it has exceeded its power.” Regarding this right, the court also said:
“the right of visitation [by government] is for the purpose of control and to see that
the corporation keeps within the limits of it powers.” A corporate church has no
privacy in its membership, financial or other business records, which may be
ordered at any time to be open to public scrutiny and control. Incorporated
churches are therefore informants for the government regarding the finances and
contributions of its members. Corporate churches are required to conduct regular
business meetings and maintain minutes from those meetings, also open to
public scrutiny. Also, by corporate law, all property owned by the corporation is
held in trust by the trustees for the beneficiary of the trust, which is the state; i.e.,
the property is ultimately owned by the state. Under corporate law, Biblical
church government is turned on its head as the trustees run the corporation on
behalf of the State, and are over the pastor in authority. The church is converted
to a business, the pastor is reduced to a CEO of the business and is now a mere
a hireling
(John 10:12). Consider the glaring contrast between the above quote from the
Hale v. Hinkle ruling and the 1st Amendment to the Constitution: “Congress shall
make no law respecting the establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free
exercise thereof.” That means Congress can neither protect nor restrict the
Church’s activities. Congress has no jurisdiction to make any law which applies
to the Church. Conversely, as stated in Hale v. Hinkle, corporations cannot exist
or function apart from statute law! When a church incorporates, it is then seen in
the eyes of the law (by the courts) as a corporation, not a church. As such,
incorporated churches are not protected under the First Amendment to the
Constitution, but are entities over which the courts and the legislature may take
jurisdiction and command to perform according to their orders. That is how the
courts can hand down decisions against incorporated churches that seem to
violate the First Amendment, when actually the First Amendment does not even
apply! Incorporated “churches” have no 1st Amendment rights; they have
willingly given up First Amendment protection in exchange for corporate
privileges and government subsidies, just as Jacob’s older brother Esau traded
his birthright for a mess of pottage. Beyond this, however, and by far the most
critical issue, is that the head of every incorporated “church” is the State, not the
Lord Jesus. TAX EXEMPTION vs. TAX IMMUNITY As if incorporation itself
wasn’t bad enough, the incorporated “church” then goes to the state to humbly
beg for tax exemption as a “Non-Profit Charitable Organization” (see Jer. 2:11,
“but my people have changed their glory for that which doth not profit”). The true
Church, protected under the 1st Amendment, is actually non-taxable; it is
immune from taxation and needs no exemption, which is only a privileged
exception extended to taxable entities at the government’s expense. As such, the
Supreme Court ruled in the Bob Jones University case that tax exemption for
non-profit organizations is a government subsidy. Regarding their Supreme Court
ruling, Dr. Bob Jones III wrote the following summary
(emphasis added), clearly showing that tax exemption is a trap: “From 1971 until
1983 Bob Jones University was in controversy with the IRS over its tax-exempt
status. The issue culminated in a 1983 ruling against this institution by the U.S.
Supreme Court declaring that since we held views that were contrary to
prevailing federal public policy we would forfeit our exemption...the court ruled in
our case that tax exemption was a subsidy...and that religious organizations had
to yield their religious beliefs in favor of ‘overriding government interests.” In case
you missed it, that quote said tax exemption is a government subsidy. What the
government subsidizes, it also controls. Tax Exemption is a trap, which has been
intentionally baited and sprung by the government to lure and draw the churches
outside of Constitutional protection, and thereby to control the churches and
pulpits of America and prevent them from speaking out against established
government policy. To receive tax exemption the corporate “churches” must
enter into a treacherous covenant with the IRS to preach public policy and
remain silent on all issues before the legislature. This “new covenant” for the
corporate church, otherwise known as Internal Revenue Code section 501(c)3,
reads as follows: Sec. 501. Exemption from Tax on Corporations, Certain Trusts,
etc...
(c). List of Exempt Organizations...
(3). Corporations, and any community chest, fund, or foundation, organized and
operated exclusively for religious, charitable, scientific, testing for public safety,
literary, or educational purposes or to foster national or international amateur
sports competition, or for the prevention of cruelty to children or animals, no part
of the net earnings of which inures to the benefit of any private shareholder or
individual, no substantial part of the activities of which is carrying on propaganda
[?] or otherwise attempting to influence legislation (except as otherwise provided
in subsection (h)), and which does not participate in, or intervene in, (including
the publishing or distributing of statements), any political campaign on behalf of
(or in opposition to) any candidate for public office. (emphasis added) By begging
for tax exemption under IRC 501(c)3 the incorporated churches have lumped
themselves together with secular and pagan organizations (most of which are
allowed to lobby to influence legislation under an exception clause not offered to
churches; see 501(h)(5)); and have made an agreement with the government not
to “carry on propaganda” (not defined in the IR Code, but defined in the BJU
case quoted above as speaking out against "prevailing Federal public policy") or
to “attempt to influence legislation.” If an issue such as homosexual rights or child
pornography or abortion rights is being considered in Congress, pastors of
501(c)3 incorporated churches are not allowed to tell their people to call their
congressmen to voice their views, as that is attempting to influence legislation.
They are not allowed to take out ads in the local news media to inform Christians
on legislative issues. Technically, IRC 501(c)3 can be interpreted to completely
disallow preachers from even preaching from their own pulpits on political issues.
The day will soon come that the “propaganda” forbidden by 501(c)3 will include
preaching the Gospel that the only way to heaven is through the Lord Jesus.
Actually, under current “hate crime” legislation, that day is already upon us. For
preachers to say (as many do when confronted with the issue) that they can
make such an agreement without intending to keep it constitutes fraud, and is
exactly parallel to taking the mark of the beast with their fingers crossed behind
their backs. Also, any Christian who believes the Church should be confined to
its own four walls and should not influence government or society needs to reread
his Bible, particularly such passages as Matt. 5:13-14, Matt. 28:18 (“all
authority in heaven and in earth”), Rev. 5:10, Is. 9:6-7, Ps. 2:8-12 and Ps. 149:5-
9 which shows that all of God’s saints have the honor of holding kings and nobles
accountable to the two-edged sword, the word of God (Heb 4:12). Since Jesus is
the “king of kings” then all civil authorities answer to him (Rom 13:6). He is
presently working on this earth through His Church, which is to be the salt of the
earth. The Bible Subjected to the Internal Revenue Code No incorporated taxexempt
"church" can honestly claim that it is operating under the fundamental
doctrine of the Sole Authority of the Scriptures. Incorporated tax-exempt
churches have by their contract not only placed the Bible under their corporate
charter, but also under the Internal Revenue Code in authority. Consider the
following quote from the opening statement of the Constitution and By-laws of an
independent, fundamental Baptist church in Land O’ Lakes, Florida: Section 2 -
Purpose A) This congregation is organized and incorporated as a church
exclusively for charitable, religious, and educational purposes within the meaning
of Section
501(c)3 of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 (or the corresponding provision of
any future United States Revenue law)... (emphasis added) In case you missed
it, that said “exclusively” within the meaning of the Internal Revenue Code! This
blatant apostasy and treacherous betrayal is not unique to this church but is fairly
common as this very wording has been promoted by the lying deceivers of the
CLA, the “Christian Law (Lie) Association.” This is an outright betrayal of the
blood of the martyrs through the centuries who were tortured and burned at the
stake for standing on the sole authority of the scriptures. It is also a betrayal of
another of the main distinctive doctrines of the Baptists held throughout history, a
doctrine of which modern-day Baptists seem to be sadly ignorant: the doctrine of
the Separation of Church and State. (Note: historically Baptists were the few that
believed it is not the Church’s job to control the government, neither is it the
government’s job to control the Church. History was dominated from the 4th
through the 18th centuries first by the Popes and then by the Protestants
enforcing false doctrines by the edge of the sword and persecuting, torturing and
murdering the Baptists.) This is not just a Baptist issue, but Baptists must wake
up and see that any preacher that pastors an incorporated, 501(c)3 taxexempt
(state-sponsored) church, and at the same time preaches against worldly attire,
worldly music, smoking, or other personal compromises is straining at gnats
when he has swallowed a camel (Matt 23:24). He can preach against the NIV or
NASV on behalf of the King James Bible, but his first and final authority is the
IRC (Internal Revenue Code) and his corporate constitution and by-laws, not the
Bible. He can preach against sexual immorality and adultery, but he has
committed spiritual adultery by marrying the bride of Christ to another husband.
He can call himself Baptist, but he has compromised and betrayed both Baptist
distinctive doctrines of the Sole Authority of the Scripture and the Separation of
Church and State, and is unworthy of the name Baptist and those doctrines for
which many thousands of saints courageously and willingly gave their lives.
“COME OUT FROM AMONG THEM” Many pastors and churches have
awakened from their ignorance and now see that it is wrong, immoral, idolatrous,
unbiblical and sinful to allow the Church to be organized as a
501(c)3 tax-exempt corporation (or any other similar statutory tax-exempt
organization) and are now standing up for the Lordship of Christ over His Church
no matter what the cost. The main reason for their conviction is the premise that
Christ alone is the one and only authority over the Church, as found in Ephesians
1:19-23: “And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us who believe,
according to the working of his mighty power, Which he wrought in Christ, when
he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly
places, Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every
name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come: And
hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to
the church, Which is his body, the fullness of him that filleth all in all.” The central
issue concerning church incorporation, based on Ephesians 1:22, (also Matt.
16:18, Col. 1;18, and Eph. 5:23) is that the Lord Jesus Christ has sole jurisdiction
and authority over the Church in all matters; therefore: THE CHURCH CANNOT
ANSWER TO ANY AUTHORITY OTHER THAN JESUS CHRIST. Jesus is head
over all things to the church. That means the civil government has no authority
whatsoever over the church. To grant authority over the church to anyone other
than Jesus is denial of Ephesians 1:22 and is absolute idolatry. America’s
founding fathers understood this, when they wrote in the 1st Amendment to the
Constitution, “Congress shall make no law respecting the establishment of
religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof.” Congress has no jurisdiction to
restrict or tax the Church. As the Supreme Court has stated, “the power to tax
involves the power to destroy.” Congress does NOT have authority to destroy the
Church through any form of taxation. Congress cannot tax the Church because
the government cannot tax God or take His tithe. This is why the Church is nontaxable
and does not need any “exemption.” Even if the 1st Amendment had not
been written, if Congress made any law apply to the Church, the Church would
be duty-bound to ignore the law, because the State has no authority over the
Church. This same principle applies to local government. For the Church to go to
local government for occupancy permit, marriage license or any other permit or
license is to acknowledge another head over the Church. We cannot take a
license from government to do what God commands. This is why during the
1600’s, John Bunyan, author of “The Pilgrim’s Progress,” spent 13 years in jail -
at great price to his wife and children - for preaching the gospel without a license
from the Anglican state church. This is why Baptist preachers were persecuted in
Virginia and other colonies even up until the 1770’s; for preaching the gospel
without a license from the state church. 1st century Christians were martyred by
Rome not because they were Christians, but because they refused to accept
Caesar’s lordship and seek permission (“licit”) from Caesar to be Christians. In
going to the government for incorporation and tax exemption, the churches have
done what the martyrs refused to do; they have asked the state to license the
church, and thereby have voluntarily surrendered Jesus’ lordship over the church
to the government, “even denying the Lord that bought them” (2 Pet 2:1). “But
they’re not telling me what to preach!” This is the typical reaction most preachers
have when confronted with this information. They think that if the government is
not holding them to the contract they have signed and the covenant they have
made, then they have no problem. They say that when they are told what to
preach (which in fact they already are), then they will get out of the corporate
trap, or they will simply not honor their contract and will preach what they want to
anyway. As stated, this dishonest and dishonorable approach constitutes fraud.
Furthermore, the problem is not whether or not the government is enforcing the
contract; the problem is in the preachers’ willingness to give the government
jurisdiction over the Church that only belongs to Jesus! “Know ye not, that to
whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye
obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?” (Rom.
6:16). Again, incorporating a church and begging for tax-exemption involves the
same sin as taking the mark of the beast; both acts deny the exclusive lordship of
Christ by bowing to the supremacy of the state. This issue is totally one of
Lordship. While God “winks” at the sins we commit in ignorance (Ac. 17:30, 1
Tim. 1:13), the pastors of America must now repent and free their churches from
the wicked covenants they have made with the state, and return their churches to
the Lord Jesus. “Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent,
and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy
candlestick out of his place, except thou repent” (Rev 2:5). It is time for the
Church to be the Church; for the Bible to once again be our sole authority for
faith and practice, and for the Lord Jesus Christ to once again be our only Lord
and Master. Amen.
