Karla's 21!

Howdy ya'll!

Hope everyone is doing well! Last night for my 21st birthday we went and had some icecream at Cold Stone Creamery. It was fun! Bradley had an interesting flavour. He had gummy green apple and added some gummy bears to it. I tried it and thought it tasted fine but Dad said it ws like playdough or something. My little brother, Bradley as you know is 6 years old and quite a funny boy sometimes. He told me in the van not to say W-H-A-T because it's a bad word. I said what?! He said don't say that! He knows it's not bad but my Dad and I sure had a fun time joking around about the word WHAT.

I wish I would of taken pictures last night and I intended to but I forgot. Next time I will have to remember to.

I had someone ask if I felt any different being 21 and no I honestly can say I don't.
I must say though that God is so good and gracious to have let me live this long. I want to serve God with my all including heart. And I want to grow more spiritually and learn more. And now, I will be saved two years November 25 and that's a praise the Lord right there!

God's love,

Karla

Have You Heard of Redemption?

REDEMPTION; You now ‘redeem’ back to you and take control of the Debtor, the collateral and the all the property, via the process! As principal, you have redeemed that which is yours, came from you or bears your name, or your name appears on it, etc. ...

The Original Thirteenth Amendment:
Titles of Nobility and Honour,
An Essay

Introduction

"In a Republic, Luxury and Corruption of Morals are said to be the invariable precursors of national dissolution," said Samuel F. Jarvis, in an address to the members of Phi Beta Kappa in 1806. "It is no less true that the perversion of national taste, and the disrelish for the solid attainments of science evince a degeneracy in Learning, Morals and Religion."

Four years after Mr. Jarvis made that speech, on the Thirtieth anniversary of the founding of Phi Beta Kappa, the State Legislature of Maryland was preparing to take an extraordinary step. Meeting on Christmas Day in 1810, this body ratified the original Thirteenth Amendment, prohibiting Titles of Nobility and Honour and describing a Draconian penalty for its violation:

"If any citizen of the United States shall accept, claim, receive, or retain any title of nobility or honour, or shall without the consent of Congress, accept and retain any present, pension, office, or emolument of any kind whatever, from any emperor, king, prince, or foreign power, such person shall cease to be a citizen of the United States, and shall be incapable of holding any office of trust or profit under them, or either of them."

"The cause of learning is intimately connected to the cause of virtue," said Jarvis to the members of Phi Beta Kappa. Published by Oliver Steele & Company of New Haven, Jarvis' Oration is rather typical of the "federalist" thinking of the men of New Haven in this era, including both scholars and sailors who were prospering under the new Constitution. Seventeen states were now represented in Congress, and the frontier was at the border of the Indiana Territory and Ohio, which had been admitted to the union in 1803.

So, too, the town green and the New England town meeting were being replicated widely in Ohio, as was the principle of `republicanism'. Plain and simple manners, Bible-based education, and state governments drastically limited by local control and a profound concern for property rights, are the hallmarks of these frontier republicans."

That philosophy was carried forward into Ohio and Indiana by land-hungry pioneers and by itinerant preachers schooled at Yale, and Brown and Princeton -- and intent on setting up public education based on the common principles of Christian morality.

"Yet it is in America now that the clearest hope for a beginning of the [comprehensive] World Brain resides. A country habituated to the rapid development of vast commercial and industrial enterprises must surely be capable of attempting an intellectual and educational enterprise beyond the imagination of men bred in smaller and more tradition-ridden communities. So far it has been impossible to awaken any influential and resourceful people" wrote H.G. Wells, in 1939, about what he considered an "unprecedented necessity."

Wells is remembered now as the great science-fiction novelist, and his role as a proponent of world socialism -- and a tireless critic of the British ruling class and its Imperial ambitions -- is only revealed in little-known books like "The Fate of Man," as quoted above. In a bit of sublime irony, the establishment of the World Wide Web comes as close to Wells' vision of a World Brain as could ever possibly be, as a part of the neural network between colleges and universities known as the Internet, .

Fifty years after his call for construction of something like a World Brain, for the purpose of implementing socialism through pure democracy, the Internet and the Web are accelerating the decline of socialism and a concomitant rise in libertarian republicanism. That is, the whole network of advanced telecommunications -- programmable fax machines, cellular radio telephones, high speed computers with modems, and their long-line and satellite links that make it all work -- have combined to enable the common man or woman to have access to any great library and to send high-speed telegraph messages (e-mail) almost anywhere for just pennies! And, it is making state and local government both transparent and more accessible, to the citizen who is computer literate.

Furthermore, just as these United States in Congress assembled are entering the most crucial and dangerous period in our long history, this network and its resources have made it possible for the average citizen, who is willing to study the issues, to be part of representative self-government, in a way that Thomas Jefferson or George Mason would have approved. And, the surfacing of this missing Amendment, passed out of Congress in 1810 and properly ratified in 1819, is part of what the New England Federalists (referring to their political faction, now, and not just the philosophy), would have easily recognized as Divine Providence. How this Amendment was ratified, what it meant to the men of that era, and how it came to be suppressed and forgotten are the subjects of this essay.

And, what the loss of this Amendment has caused, and what its lawful restoration and placement in the proper order of Amendments means for the society of the United States, in the 1990s, in also addressed.

FREE VIEWING - The most basic truths about the Tax Code and how the IRS violates it are disclosed inside. We are PRO-Congress; the law is perfect! It is hoped that Congress desires statutory proof that the IRS is engaged in a pattern of misconduct so pervasive and so unlawful that it can finally be abolished; that proof is here. The conclusions are irrefutable, and several points will be obvious even to those taking their first look at the letter of the law. Congress has to take control of the IRS, which is nothing new, but now it has the proof that it would be acting only to protect its own existing laws, which would in turn protect every American from the IRS.

The Supreme Court's expression below regarding separation of powers/taxation with representation is perhaps the best depiction of the objective of this course; to put Congress back in control of America's taxation and to remove the IRS from the reality of the average American at the same time. Our primary mission is to restore this -

"The particular need for making the judiciary independent was elaborately pointed out by Alexander Hamilton in the Federalist, No.78, from which we excerpt the following:

"The executive not only dispenses the honors, but holds the sword of the community. The Legislature not only commands the purse, but prescribes the rules by which the duties and rights of every citizen are to be regulated. The judiciary, on the contrary, has no influence over either the sword or the purse; no direction either of the strength or of the wealth of the society; and can take no active resolution whatever. It may truly be said to have neither force nor will, but merely judgment."

See Evans v. Gore, 253 U.S. 245, 249, 40 S.Ct. 550, 551 (1920).

This is a balance, a system of checks and balances among the three branches of American gov't, which has been defeated by the IRS through the complexities of the Tax Code alone. Congress now has all the proof it needs to justify a swift and indignant end to the agency as a whole. This balance is found in the Tax Code itself. This is not a challenge to the IRS, but rather is an explanation and instruction as to how the IRS has always been in violation of the law, and how the judiciary is to blame for allowing the IRS to exist in its present form. When law is not the foundation of taxation it may be said to have been taxation without representation, meaning that when our representatives (Congress) are not in control of how much is collected as "taxes" the taxation takes place without them or their influence. It is the judiciary and the executive which are acting together in contravention of Congress and its role in American government.

Silencing a Free Man

Silencing a Free Man
Darren had been out and about in Birmingham City Centre, using a loud hailer to speak to the people of Birmingham about the law, and freemanship and about lawful rebellion. He was accosted by two policy enforcement officers and his loud hailer was unlawfully taken from him.

Shortly afterwards, he was arrested and charged with Breach of the Peace. This despite the fact that he refused to stand under their statutory law or give them jurisdiction over him.
Darren had his ten year old son with him at the time, but the officers did nothing to ensure that child would be safe and looked after.

Christian 1st, American 2nd, Gun Owner 3rd

www.christiangunowner.com is where I got this. Michael sent us the link priginally for this site. Enjoy ya'll! With Christ's love, Karla

Like the logo says: Christian First,
.....everything else after that

Since this web site is about gun ownership and use from a Christian perspective, that's where I'll start. The notion that a Christian should not own or use a weapon in self defense is first unbiblical and second flies in the face of the second amendment to the Constitution.
Recorded in Matthew 26:51-52 and John 18:10-11 is Peter cutting off the ear of a soldier in the group that had come to retrieve Jesus. While Jesus commanded him to put up his sword, it must be acknowledged that Peter and the other disciples carried swords daily for self defense against robbers, wild animals, etc.Jesus acknowledged their possession of weapons but never told them to give them up - Luke 22:38.

The chant of skeptics and people determined to disparage Christianity in general, is the parroted "Thou shalt not kill" of King James version fame in Exodus 20. Any honest person reading this will acknowledge that it refers to murder, not to self defense or war. In virtually all modern versions of the Bible it is translated "You shall not murder".

Wars, including wars instigated by God were prevalent throughout the Old Testament. The wars were grievous to God, but necessary to keep the horrible influences of pagan nations from infiltrating the culture of the Israelites, and for other reasons. God never told any Old Testament figure to not carry weapons. Jesus did not, nor did the writers of the New Testament. It is a matter of common sense that the current, practical weapons of any time in history are the ones that must be in the hands of all citizens to be able to defend themselves effectively against criminals of that culture and era. Guns are ours.

We live in a great nation that guarantees the individual's right......"A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed."For those who chant: "That refers to a militia only, such as the National Guard" -- the entire document which is the Bill of Rights deals with the rights of individuals. What makes you think it deals with a collective issue here?

The founding fathers knew exactly what the second amendment referred to as noted below:

-"The strongest reason for the people to retain the right to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in government." -- Thomas Jefferson Papers

-"The Constitutions of most of our states (and of the United States) assert that all power is inherent in the people; that they may exercise it by themselves; that it is their right and duty to be at all times armed." -Thomas Jefferson.

-"(The Constitution preserves) the advantage of being armed which Americans possess over the people of almost every other nation...(where) the governments are afraid to trust the people with arms." -James Madison.

"Arms in the hands of citizens (may) be used at individual discretion...in private self defense..." -John Adams, A defense of the Constitutions of the Government of the USA, 471 (1788).

"To disarm the people (is) the best and most effectual way to enslave them..." -George Mason, 3 Elliot, Debates at 380.

Remember that the contents of the U.S. Constitution and the Bill of Rights was the response by the framers to what had been British tyranny. The emphasis of the documents that essentially made America a free nation were documents "of the people", not of some government military organization. The framers were determined that the government would never override the rights of the people again.

Christians who believe that the U.S. Constitution was framed (including the second amendment) under the guiding hand of an almighty God, have an obligation to train with, obtain and keep arms to protect themselves, their families and their country.

"Gun control" is the strongest policy available for a government with a bent towards control of it's citizens and it's citizen's dependency on that government. For those determined to blindly hand the safety and security of you and your family to the government, while you nobly shout "get rid of guns", go ahead. See what happens when you are assaulted, your house is broken into or a member of your family is greivously violated because you believed that the police would be your guardian angels in case of criminal assault. The police will show up after the act. That's too late.

As for me, I'll take responsibility for me and mine. I and my family will still be standing to give a statement when the police arrive.

Common Sense

This is Interesting!!!

An Obituary printed in the London Times -

Today we mourn the passing of a beloved old friend, Common Sense, who has been with us for many years. No one knows for sure how old he was, since his birth records were long ago lost in bureaucratic red tape. He will be remembered as having cultivated such valuable lessons as:
- Knowing when to come in out of the rain; ;
- Why the early bird gets the worm;
- Life isn't always fair;
- and maybe it was my fault.

Common Sense lived by simple, sound financial policies (don't spend more than you can earn) and reliable strategies (adults, not children, are in charge).
His health began to deteriorate rapidly when well-intentioned but overbearing regulations were set in place. Reports of a 6-year-old boy charged with sexual harassment for kissing a classmate; teens suspended from school for using mouthwash after lunch; and a teacher fired for reprimanding an unruly student, only worsened his condition.

Common Sense lost ground when parents attacked teachers for doing the job that they themselves had failed to do in disciplining their unruly children.

It declined even further when schools were required to get parental consent to administer sun lotion or an aspirin to a student; but could not inform parents when a student became pregnant and wanted to have an abortion.

Common Sense lost the will to live as the churches became businesses; and criminals received better treatment than their victims.

Common Sense took a beating when you couldn't defend yourself from a burglar in your own home and the burglar could sue you for assault..

Common Sense finally gave up the will to live, after a woman failed to realize that a steaming cup of coffee was hot. She spilled a little in her lap, and was promptly awarded a huge settlement.

Common Sense was preceded in death, by his parents, Truth and Trust, by his wife, Discretion, by his daughter, Responsibility, and by his son, Reason.

He is survived by his 4 stepbrothers;
I Know My Rights
I Want It Now
Someone Else Is To Blame
I'm A Victim

Not many attended his funeral because so few realized he was gone If you still remember him, pass this on. If not, join the majority and do nothing.

Sad that most people don't have any common sense anymore. You can see that even with churches and christians today.

Thai Food

Friday Pa took Bradley and I to a Thai Restaurant. It was Bradley and I's first time. And we liked it very much. We had a yellow curry sauce, noodles, and rice.

I thought I would post a picture of it all on my plate.

Lake Eufaula

Between all of us we caught 18 catfish. I caught one and it was probably 2 or 3 pounds. My Gramps caught the biggest one out of us all. It was the biggest he had ever caught! He was so proud of it! It was my Gramps, his friend John, Pa, Bradley(my cute little brother), and me who went fishing.

Pictures from Lake Eufaula.

Pa's (Chuck)Salvation Testimony

I received the Lord Jesus Christ as my personal saviour on October 9, 2003 after God telling me that I was a liar, a thief, a cheat, a destroyer of homes, a whoremonger, lazy, a bum, a perverter of my word,a deceiver, etc., that I needed to get saved for the third time in a year, admitting I was a hell bound sinner before a righteous, holy, sinless, perfect God and asked God to forgive me and Jesus to save me. The Lord called me to preach soon after and I am training under my spiritual pastor, at the feet of the Lord Jesus Christ just like Paul the Apostle did. I am a King James Bible bible believer/ doer. Believing that it is the inspired, inerrant, perfect, infallible wordS of God in the English language w/o the need of Greek and Hebrew dictionaries or commentaries. The only helper one needs to understand it is God's own spirit, the Holy Spirit, since he is the author of it using men as instruments to translate His words into English. It is the sole authority for my faith and practise. 2Pe 3:9 The Lord is not slack, concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. Are you ready to meet Jesus when he comes back for his people before the Great Tribulation? Mat 24:21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.

Karla's Salvation Testimony

On November 25, 2007 at 19 years of age,
during the invitation after the morning's sermon was
preached I knelt down where I was sitting. I was in tears and I
couldn't help it. I knew that I wasn't and hadn't been a 100% sure
that I was going to Heaven. I had been struggling with this on and
off since I came back to live with my Dad in 2004. But, I would always
push it to the back of my mind and say oh it's not possible I am
supposed to be saved. But, I could never really remember a change or
if I really had meant it. One time in talking with my Dad about it, he
asked me if I had ever had any of my prayers answered and well, I
couldn't ever remember, even though I thought there had been some answered.

And there were times when I would think when I get saved or if I get
saved and then I would say what! I am already saved. I couldn't
understand why I had thoughts like that since I was supposed to be
saved. When a thought came to mind of whether I wasn't sure if I was
really saved I would push it to the back of my mind, so I wouldn't
think of it.I sometimes would feel empty.(although a real christian can feel empty if they aren't reading God's words or they are backslidden)

In May, I listened to The Revival Hymn and I remember a preacher say
'Are you saved tonight?' and the story of this woman saying"Is there
mercy for me, is there mercy for me?". Listening to it the doubt of my
salvation came but, I pushed it away.

Then even more recently I had started to doubt a little more and more
often.I had been readin a book on dispensationalism and it was talking
about the weeping and gnashing of teeth and it really scared me. Then
I happened to read it in my daily Bible readin 2 or 3 times and I
thought what is going on here. How can I be reading it at the same
time I had read it in the dispensational book? I stopped thinking of
it so much because it scared me. Then I eventually started praying,
'Lord, I need to know whether I am saved or lost. If I am saved I
need You to give me assurance of it and if I am lost I need You to
show me that I am lost and dying and going to Hell. I don't want to
play games with You. And if I am lost and get saved I want it to be
real and for there to be a change, a real change. I want to really
mean it this time if I am lost. Please, don't let me die without
knowing for sure, so that if I am lost so that I can get saved."

I usually iron shirts for my Dad on Mondays, so when I would iron I
would usually listen to something over the Internet or music on the
computer. So, since I wanted an answer I made my self listen to sermons
that sounded like they would be good and that God would use them to
show me if I was lost or not. I listened to an evangelist's messages
and he would always ask something along the lines of "Are you saved"?.
He may have asked it differently in his other sermons. Then I
listened to a message on there are lost people(members) in the church
by a pastor. I think that might not be the exact title. But, anyways,
the man got after it. I was crying and trying to iron at the same
time. He had said if you say you are only 99% sure and not 100% sure
then you are lost. He told of this woman where he had been part of the
I think it was a two week tent revival there at her church and how she
would bake them(the preachers) goodies and give it to them and that
her and her husband were so sweet. She had been the presidebt of her
youth group when she was in her teens. Now, she was much older maybe
50 or older, could be 70's possibly. Anyways, he saw her on her knees
and he thought maybe she was upset over a family member, but what had
happened was that God had said this is the last time I am calling you
to get saved. This woman didn't want that last chance to be passed up,
gone forever. Well, yesterday when pastor said something along the
lines of ' For some it could be the last times Jesus passes by and for
you to get saved.'

During the service I was struggling again. When I heard him say that
it made me think of how what if from all my pleas of asking God not to
let me die until I knew for certain whether I was going to Heaven or
not and if I wasn't then for me to get saved that He got so tired of
me saying that, that He just gave up on me and turned His back on me.
What if I got in the car this time and I died.(I had the thought
before of dying in a car wreck, but would push it away b/c I didn't
want to think of that thought). And things were coming to mind of
there never being a change, of when I get saved, and other things and
I remembered what that pastor said about only 99% sure and that if I
wasn't 100% that I wasn't saved and that I wasn't going to Heaven, but
Hell. And it hit me that I needed to do something about it.

So, when I got on my knees and knelt at the pew I told God that I knew
I was a sinner, that I wanted to be in Heaven with him even though I didn't deserve to.
And as I was praying it hit me that I had lusted and lied. That I wasn't going to Heaven and that I had been
struggling for so long and I didn't want these doubts or struggle
anymore. I didn't want another day to go by not knowing. That I wanted
to be washed white as snow. That I wanted it to be real this time(not another false profession). That I had broken all of His great laws.
And again I told Him that I was a sinner and then I asked Him to
forgive me of my sins and that I was sorry. I told Him I wanted Him to
be my Lord and Saviour and that I wanted Him to save me.

Praise the Lord!

Now For Him only,
Karla

P.S. In case any of you don't know. I had made a profession at 6 or 7
years old, then realized I couldn't remember anything said I was lost
made a profession at 13. And that day when I thought I had thought I
Got saved at 13 there never was a change. When someone
Congratulated me about it that time I didn't know what they were talking
About til they told me and I was just like oh thanks. Not much but a
Passing thing to me. But, Now there is a change and a difference.
